The Wattle Grove Campsite
We had a lovely stay at Reubens and Sarah’s property. It was private, quiet, had heaps of trees and plenty of wildlife. So much room to explore, which the kids just loved. The entry into the property was a little challenging as the road was too narrow to get the van positioned through the gate (ended up reversing in). Reuben noticed this and widened the road to be able to get out easily. Still, larger vans might find it challenging. Thanks for a lovely weekend Sarah and Reuben 😊

Pleasant spot to camp among the wattles with plenty of level sites to choose from. Reuben and family are friendly hosts. We would stay there again.

Camp site is lovely with some shaded spots with from the trees. Sunrise is absolutely amazing and get a nice view of the mountains out in the field. Plenty of kangaroos to say hello to in the morning also

We really loved Reubens place, him and his young family met us on arrival and showed us where to park. The spot under the Wattles were private with enough shade, there was also a nice dedicated spot for making a fire for cooking. Unfortunately the rainy weather of the past weekend shortend our stay but we will be back

The host was polite, helpful and accommodating, directions were nice and clear.
Fire area was ready to use and a nearby outdoor setting, nice and quiet an had your own privacy.
Was nice to see the kangaroos bunnies and emus nearby.

We loved our stay at Reuben’s. The tent is great and the area is quaint with everything you need. The toilet and kitchen area (included pot, pan, bowls, etc.) were very sufficient for our stay. Clear directions were given prior to arrival to find our tent with no issues. We loved sitting at the campfire watching the kangaroos in the field. We would absolutely recommend Reuben’s place to anyone looking for an enjoyable experience in nature!

Absolutely magical location, so quiet yet so close to Halls Gap and other attractions. The bed was comfy, wood for the fire was welcomed, and communication was quick. Kangaroos and sheep came to say hello (but not too close!). The flushing toilet was luxury!

We are doing the tent camping in here. It was amazing experience. In this area, we could see the galaxy, sheeps, and wallaby hopping around.
But please be aware if you put your trash bag or fabric kitchen cupboard. Because it might become a mess in a following day.

The Wattle Grove Campsite
The Wattle Grove was picturesque, tranquil & secluded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our gracious hosts communicated well with us, gave clear directions, had obviously made an effort to present the site immaculately & even offered hot chocolates in the morning after the weather turned (offered by messaging, but respected our space & privacy). We were delighted by their hospitality & grateful for the opportunity to camp on their property! The location & setting were superb: serene, with spectacular views & a diversity of wildlife on the property (kangaroos, deer, frogs & a variety of birds); also easily accessible & within comfortable driving distance of the sights & trails of the Grampians & neighboring towns, yet peacefully removed from the crush & bustle of those public campsites over Easter long weekend. There was noone nearby that we could hear, & noone nearby to hear us (important because we were camping with an infant & young child in a tent & it can be stressful if our baby cries in the middle of the night camped close to others — not an issue here). Bliss.
Highly recommended. We will surely be back.

We loved staying at the Bell Tent! Such a peaceful little pocket of the world. Seeing the kangaroos in the nearby field was also such a special moment. We hope to be back again soon.

We love staying at Reuben's bell tent. Quite and very peaceful place and has been well-directed. We love traveling to Ararat and Halls Gap near the tent.
We want to go back to stay there. Highly recommend people have a peaceful retreat. A lovely dog Tarki was a good companion for us. As we are beginner campers, it is a perfect chance to taste what camping feels like. Thank you

We loved everything of our stay! The site is great, surrounded by wattles, it feels private and wild, and the grassed area is ideal for pitching a tent. Not a sound to be heard besides those of nature, I haven't slept so deeply in a long time. And walking past the trees takes you to the paddock, a lovely extension of tranquil bush grass from where you can admire the spectacular sunsets with the Grampians in the background or go on a stroll and say hi to the sheep in the neighbouring farm 🐑
But most important, Reuben and Sarah are some of the greatest, most authentic people we've met. They treated us like family, always helpful and always happy to share their extensive knowledge of the area with us! We miss you already!
Truly, a hidden paradise in the Grampians!

Absolutely fantastic and friendly hosts. Great area to camp, with choices of sunny and shade spots to set up, with centre fireplace. Only one other site - glamping tent, which is far enough away to not hear anything.
Beautiful quiet place to camp, friendly hosts, kangaroos hopped past, all grass low in camp ground, drop toilet available.
Highly recommended, definitely will be back.

Where to even begin! We had such a unique and wonderful stay here at Bells tent, being truly in nature and camping yet still having the comfort of the tent and the amenities that Reuben and Sarah provided. It was the perfect mix of camping and glamping. Reuben and Sarah were the best host throughout our stay, making sure from the very beginning that we were comfortable and they even went out of their way in helping me out with preparing a birthday dinner as I needed to put something in the oven. The bed and mattress was comfortable and we had great sleep and the pictures don't do the views justice. In the evening, there is a fireplace that is set up next to the tent we could light and sit next to and it was very cosy and we could see the clear night skies and stars. We will definitely be back again and I almost want to keep this a secret but I feel like everyone should experience staying here with Reuben and Sarah. To the host, thank you so much again for providing such a great stay!

We loved our stayed at Reuben's place - what a gem! The view was lovely and the site is peaceful, with lots of natures sounds to enjoy (birds, frogs etc) . We loved sitting my the campfire under the stars and the tent is very spacious, clean and comfortable. It's clear that Reuben and his wife are putting lots of love and effort into making this a beautiful stay for their guests, which I suspect will only get even better over the next little while! Can't wait to come back soon - thanks kindly Reuben for your hospitality.

Beautiful spot at the base of the Grampians. We loved our stay! Reuben and Sarah are great hosts, very friendly and helpful but also happy to leave you to enjoy camping on their lovely 80 acre property. Being able to light a campfire and being close to amazing hiking, pretty drives and wineries are highlights. Definitely recommend, we’ll be back! Hannah & Will

We had a lovely time at Reuben’s farm. The tent was even better than the photos with a full mattress and base. There was also a newly installed toilet and undercover area on the deck. The view is incredible and we felt lucky to be there surrounded by nature.

We had a great weekend at the wattle grove. Reuben and Sara were very welcoming and helpful when we arrived and the camp site was secluded and quiet, just what we wanted. The property is close to all the attractions the Grampians has to offer and even has a great waterfall nearby. We would love to come back. Thank you for having us.

We absolutely loved Grampians Views Bell Tent! The views are amazing, with heaps of Kangaroos jumping around and amazing privacy! It did get a little windy and rained, but nothing that beautiful fire and amazing views couldn't solve! I can't say enough how beautiful the whole area is! the hosts were absolutely amazing and I can't wait to see what they do with the whole place, I look forward to seeing you guys again!

Lovely private farm getaway. Only two camping sites at present which makes it perfect if you want complete peace and quiet. The location means its best to make sure you have everything on board before arriving as the closest major town is Ararat although there is a general store in Moyston. We received a wonderful welcome on arrival and would definitely recommend this property for those that want a bit of seclusion. Some great views of distant mountains as well as watching the local wildlife. Can be a bit exposed to the wind depending on its direction.

Great Easter away spent near the Grampians. Hosts were lovely & answered all my queries. Great campsite setup with a fire and a stroll into the paddock gives some amazing views! There was 1 other site nearby but we didnt hear a peep.
