We have 2 dogs, 6 pet sheep and 4 lambs, 2 blue tongue lizards The farming area is completely fenced in, this is to keep the deer out, but you can venture out onto the property bush land with the correct map and navigation equipment. Our walk the neighboring farm (105 acres) Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away. Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. Campfires are allowed when restrictions aren’t in place, and firewood and kindling is available for purchase (see Extras). 91 Gordons Bridge Road was once part of a pine plantation that had been planted in the late 60's and harvested just prior to the Black Saturday fires. Across the road from the Kinglake National Park, it is surrounded by protected flora and fauna. Victoria's Pink heath, wattles and tea tree provide a pleasant backdrop in season. It is not an uncommon site to see an echidna or two on the property, with black wallabies, kangaroos and wombats often seen grazing on pasture in the evening. The mud turrets are the home of endangered land yabbies and Lyrebirds have been seen in the area. Feral deer have come to inhabit nearby properties and sometimes wonder down the track. Birds watchers will enjoy a variety of bird life that inhabit the area including eagle hawks, fairy wrens, kookaburras, rosellas, parrots and yellow tailed black cockatoos when in season. The area is a popular spot for hikers with the start of the Mountain Creek trail only a few kms down Gordons Bridge Road and serious cyclists train regularly, on Mount Slide, especially on the weekend. For the serious wine lover the property is within 15km of the Yarra Valley Wine Growing area with many wineries offering tastings.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. Rainfall can restrict access to some sites on the property. The city of Bendigo is 25mins drive. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away. The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast. Loud, party groups with music at high volume are not permitted. Chainsaws and motorbikes are also not permitted.

Clear Springs is a very special spot, offering sweeping views over rolling hills, and across to the ocean. King Island lighthouse is visible on clear nights, and there are koalas and wallabies in abundance. The site is all-weather access, and is just a 7-minutes drive to the Apollo Bay township. Once you catch your breath after initially taking in the sweeping, majestic ocean views, you can find a spot to pitch your tent or park your van. You drive in through a locked farm gate into the fenced camp area. There is not an abundance of flat area, so may not suit if you need large level space. We don't accept multiple bookings, so the space is all yours. You can choose from a few different spots with near-level ground (choose grass or gravel). The site is open to the amazing ocean views to the south yet the area is nestled among mature trees to give privacy and shelter. There are very few houses dotted around the area and not a single busy road within earshot. There is 240v mains power (BYO lead and plug into switchboard). And a tank with spring water (natural and untreated, we've been drinking it for years) and a pressure pump (BYO hoses as needed). There is an outdoor gas-heated shower. We also have a woodfired hot tub available for guests, BYO firewood. Our listing is intended for people looking for a private, tranquil and well-serviced camping area with several bonuses such as firewood, power, water, telstra reception, and a hot tub. And no other guests to worry about. It's much more than a patch of grass! But please BYO toilet - this is mandatory - and leave no trace to allow other people to enjoy the beauty of our property. Bimbimbi is located at the free flowing, clear beginning of the Murray River, at Tintaldra. We have 5 separate sites. Each site is for a single group, so you know you will only have yourselves in close proximity. Each site has access to the river, although The Fishing Hole, River Red Gums and The Big Bend have better access than The Willows and The Old Pump Hole. Swimming, fishing for Murray Cod, hiking along the river bank (we have 3km of frontage), bird watching, relaxing are typical things to do here. Or, if you are more adventurous, borrow our canoes and do a down river trip, or go for a longer hike up Pine Mountain in the Pine Mountain National Park. Or, bring your mountain or road bikes and do some cycling on the picturesque roads and trails. The campsites are well spaced out, with a minimum of 200 metres between the nearest two locations. In fact, it either impossible or very difficult to see anyone else at the other camp sites from your own camp site. Each camp site is accessible via its own track, so you won't have other vehicles driving past your camp site. We have a Leave No Trace policy, please take all rubbish with you. (This also means not throwing bottles, cans, bottle tops, aluminium foil and other non-biodegradable items into the camp fire.) Dogs are allowed, but please keep them under control, particularly if near cattle. Campfires are allowed only in braziers provided, when fire bans are not in place. You can gather your own firewood or purchase firewood from us (see "Extras"). Please arrive before dark if you haven't been here before. It is difficult to understand a new camp site in the dark. We provide a toilet at each location, for your convenience and the cleanliness of the camp site in general. Nothing but your human deposit and toilet paper in the toilet please. No disposable wipes, nappies etc. Please put these in your trash. Also, bring your drone but use it only over locations that are not occupied. We have canoes to borrow, seasonal produce is available from the garden and our own beef and local lamb is also now available. And, again, wood for purchase if you don't want to gather your own. Epsom is a 15min drive where you will find a shopping centre which includes a petrol station, Woollies, Pizza, Chemist Warehouse, Aldi, Brumbys Bakery, Reject Shop, Fish and Chips and BWS. Lake Eppalock is a 25min drive where you can engage in water sport activities. The Campaspe River is 10mins away. The farm is very quiet and restful with the sounds of abundant native bird life and provides great subjects and scenery for the photographic enthusiast. Loud, party groups with music at high volume are not permitted. Chainsaws and motorbikes are also not permitted.

Clear Springs is a very special spot, offering sweeping views over rolling hills, and across to the ocean. King Island lighthouse is visible on clear nights, and there are koalas and wallabies in abundance. Whilst we require you to BYO toilet, we do have hot shower, woodfired hot-tub, power, water and phone reception. The site is all-weather access, and is just a 7-minutes drive to the Apollo Bay township. Once you catch your breath after initially taking in the sweeping, majestic ocean views, you can find a spot to pitch your tent or park your van. You drive in through a locked farm gate into the fenced camp area. There is not an abundance of flat area, so may not suit if you need large level space. We don't accept multiple bookings, so the space is all yours. You can choose from a few different spots with near-level ground (choose grass or gravel). The site is open to the amazing ocean views to the south yet the area is nestled among mature trees to give privacy and shelter. There are very few houses dotted around the area and not a single busy road within earshot. There is 240v mains power (BYO lead and plug into switchboard). And a tank with spring water (natural and untreated, we've been drinking it for years) and a pressure pump (BYO hoses as needed). There is an outdoor gas-heated shower. We also have a woodfired hot tub available for guests, BYO firewood. Our listing is intended for people looking for a private, tranquil and well-serviced camping area with several bonuses such as firewood, power, water, telstra reception, and a hot tub. And no other guests to worry about. It's much more than a patch of grass! But please BYO toilet - this is mandatory - and leave no trace to allow other people to enjoy the beauty of our property. Bimbimbi is located at the free flowing, clear beginning of the Murray River, at Tintaldra. We have 5 separate sites. Each site is for a single group, so you know you will only have yourselves in close proximity. Each site has access to the river, although The Fishing Hole, River Red Gums and The Big Bend have better access than The Willows and The Old Pump Hole. Swimming, fishing for Murray Cod, hiking along the river bank (we have 3km of frontage), bird watching, relaxing are typical things to do here. Or, if you are more adventurous, borrow our canoes and do a down river trip, or go for a longer hike up Pine Mountain in the Pine Mountain National Park. Or, bring your mountain or road bikes and do some cycling on the picturesque roads and trails. The campsites are well spaced out, with a minimum of 200 metres between the nearest two locations. In fact, it either impossible or very difficult to see anyone else at the other camp sites from your own camp site. Each camp site is accessible via its own track, so you won't have other vehicles driving past your camp site. We have a Leave No Trace policy, please take all rubbish with you. (This also means not throwing bottles, cans, bottle tops, aluminium foil and other non-biodegradable items into the camp fire.) Dogs are allowed, but please keep them under control, particularly if near cattle. Campfires are allowed only in braziers provided, when fire bans are not in place. You can gather your own firewood or purchase firewood from us (see "Extras"). Please arrive before dark if you haven't been here before. It is difficult to understand a new camp site in the dark. We provide a toilet at each location, for your convenience and the cleanliness of the camp site in general. Nothing but your human deposit and toilet paper in the toilet please. Lovely spot, easy to find and plenty of room for our 5 caravans, 2 of which were 20ft in length. Peaceful and large grassy area. Tamara came to say hello to our group & talked about the local area & events. She was very welcoming. So nice to see the sheep & goats grazing in the paddocks. We had a choice of two large fire pits. Would definitely camp here again.

Bimbimbi river bend is a wonderfully secluded spot on the river. Camping amongst the popler trees gave us a wonderful place to have picnics with the kids. The river flows deep enough for an adult to float with a beer down stream. While the sheltered shallows are great for kids to play in the mud with an abundance of skipping rocks Ian and his family are very welcoming with free access to and from the farm with town close by and markets on the weekends with lots of family fun. Cant wait to stay again and bring some friends as well
