91 Gordons Bridge Road was once part of a pine plantation that had been planted in the late 60's and harvested just prior to the Black Saturday fires. Across the road from the Kinglake National Park it is surrounded by protected flora and fauna. Victoria's Pink heath provides a pleasant backdrop in season and wattles abound.  It is not an uncommon site to see an echidna or two and Lyrebirds have been seen in the area. Feral deer have come to inhabit nearby properties and sometimes wonder down the track. Kangaroos and black wallabies often seen in the evening grazing on pasture.

Kinglake East End Campsite
Site as advertised, albeit a bit more sloped than anticipated. Lovely spot nestled amongst the bush, plenty of birdsong and serenity. Tracks in were manageable in 4wd, recent rains have made it unsuitable for 2wd vehicles. Maggie has been nothing short of excellent to deal with, very communicative and helpful. If bringing pets, be mindful of thorns, although Maggie has assured me these are being cleared soon. I’d recommend booking the caravan sites if using a roof top tent situation, as it can be difficult to level a vehicle on the other sites.

Great price for a great little camping spot. Dense bushland nearby for bushwalks and plenty of Firewood about for campfires.

Beautiful spot
Beautiful spot with the added bonus of power dedicated fire pit spot, and tranquil surroundings short drive to town when needed lovely other guest camping as well. Loved every second of our time there.

The weekend was fun overall but the site is quite steep with only a few suitable areas on which to park a caravan or trailer with room for awning etc. The ground was very slippery after the rain, so much so that one vehicle struggled to get out of the site.

Beautiful area. Quiet and peaceful. The friendly site keeper Rawk even offered a hot cup of tea while I set up camp. I'll definitely be back
