While The Love Shack is a private cabin, perfect for intimate getaways for couples we also offer larger group bookings for extended family / and or friend groups with the need for a normal bedroom/bathroom option. The camping area around the cabin is suitable for tents/vans and can easiliy accommodate larger groups. There are three under cover areas for group camping use :- an outdoor kitchen area with sink, bench space and a full size fridge/freezer, an enclosed pen with an extra BBQ, There is a large covered area with a 100" pull down projector screen (bring your own projector for movie nights and fun). A full set of lawn games is also available. The Shack is a two night minimum stay and sleeps two. Extra guests are welcome in a tents/vans outside at an extra cost per person. The Shack has one bedroom with linen available as an extra, a small open plan kitchen with fridge, kettle and mini cooker. The living room features a little combustion woodfire heater. Camping enthusiasts can enjoy a level, grassy site with spectacular views across the Tarra River to the forest, or behind you across the paddocks. We are only 3 kms away from the Tarra Bulga National Park and 10 kms from the historic town of Yarram if you need any supplies. Woodside Beach, Welshpool and Port Albert are within easy reach too.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at the Love Shack, one of those places that makes you want to extend your stay and come again. The scenery was beautiful and the amenities were plenty! We camped on the grass with a tent and it rained our last night but the ground stayed solid and not muddy, helpful for when we were packing up. Will definitely return again hopefully with friends this time!

The Love Shack was absolutely exquisite in every way shape and form. Charming, cosy, warm, and delightfully secluded. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The space had an enchanting atmosphere that made it feel both magical and intimate. Kate’s thoughtful touches were evident throughout and genuinely appreciated, adding a layer of care that made the experience feel even more special. Although we had planned to explore the nearby national park, we found ourselves not wanting to leave the environment at all and just simply soaking up the beautiful energy of the space. It truly was the perfect weekend escape. Thank you so much, Kate we’ll definitely be back!

Cabin 4 was a great experience. My wife and I had a fantastic time in the seclusion and serenity. The cabin itself had all of the necessary inclusions, and the wood stove provided excellent warmth throughout the night.. The toilet block is a close stroll The highlight would have to be seeing the stars from the back porch and waking up to the views of mountains and frost on the pastures. George was fantastic and nothing was too hard. We had a great stay and will definitely be back when we are down there next.

Perfect for those who like to entertain and cook up a storm. The beautifully appointed modern kitchen has absolutely everything one could possibly ask for, including a 4 burner electric stove and oven, a microwave, a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, and a coffee machine. Also available is a coffee percolator and espresso jug for coffee enthusiasts. One of the major features of this property is the adjoining outdoor entertaining deck complete with an outdoor dining table, commercial grade Christie BBQ, and million-dollar views! another 3 bedrooms! Bedroom one (1) has a double bed, Bedroom two(2) consists of 2 bunk beds a single bunk as well as a king single bunk, all bunks have full slumber mattresses and are strong enough for adults to gently sleep on and in case of extra guests we have provided two (2) foam mattresses under each bunk. This is perfect for a couple of families or couples sharing the house providing a fully self-contained area allowing the ultimate in privacy. It also has a laundry with a washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, and ironing board. This property is truly unique, offering ocean views from the front of the property and then you step out the back into a tranquil bush setting. We welcome well behaved dogs (please see our Pet policy prior to booking) both inside and outside the cottages and lodges. We have two types of accommodation on offer: Our luxury Ocean View Cottages are newly renovated, boasting wetland and ocean views with a private verandah to enjoy them from. The cottages sleep up to 4 guests comfortably with a trundle bed option by request for an additional 5th person. Our Budget Friendly Lodges are for those guests with larger groups looking for a frills free option. With rural views and sleeping up to 6 guests, the Lodges can be opened up to accommodate up to 12 guests in total. High View has horse paddocks to wander around and friendly dogs and cats too. You can meet the horses up close by request, or just say hi over the gate.
