It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs. The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! It's a simple bunkhouse, providing shelter to sleep, in a great location. If you wish to make use of the firepit, you'll need to BYO wood, this firepit is not often used. Banyula Cottage

1 site · Lodging1 acre · Dunalley, TAS
Our cottage is located at the back of our 1 acre property still far enough away so privacy is not an issue, being able to enjoy the peace and quiet of our beautiful country town while listening to the birds chirp away. One highlight of our cottage is the loft bed allowing a fully functioning kitchen, room for a lounge & dinning table as well as a neat bathroom. Only a couple minutes walk to the local cafe and bakeries and a short drive to local attractions. We are happy for guests to walk around the property but to stay to the back of the property and the cottage driveway and to not walk around the main house or the dog yard. Please note that within Tasmania mobile phone coverage is scattered when not with Telstra and sometimes Optus. Due to being on tank water we do not offer guests laundry facilities but there are some at Port Arthur. We do not have a fire on offer for guests to use.

Cabins in Tasmania guide

Overview

Whether you're uncovering Australia's convict history at Port Arthur, hiking and mountain biking in the island's national parks, or fishing and kayaking at the beaches of the Tasman Peninsula or Bay of Fires—you're never far from a cabin rental in Tasmania. Tassie weather is notoriously changeable, so opting for a heated cabin means you can camp in the wilderness or explore the windswept coast through all four seasons. For a family vacation, there are several cabin parks with self-contained cabins located near cities like Hobart, Launceston, and Devonport, while private rentals include everything from quirky treehouses and tiny houses to luxury cottages. Perhaps rent a rustic cabin with bunk beds and electric heating within a short drive of Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park, book a glamping cabin near Freycinet National Park, or escape to a log cabin in the woods on Bruny Island.
