We unfortunately had quite a negative experience - I messaged the owners through HipCamp while they were still open asking for check in instructions. They didn’t reply right away, so I assumed they would either be around or they’d leave us an envelope with instructions, like other campsites do. When we arrived (7pm), we called all the 3 different phone numbers listed around the site and no one was picking up. We waited a bit and then setup on of the free sites, knowing we have paid and booked more than 3 months before. When they finally started replying to us, we got scolded by them saying we didn’t have any booking, so we sent them all the info, which they should have. They finally tracked down our booking and let us stay. Seems like they don’t know how to use HipCamp properly. Not a great experience. They also have around 14 people staying there long term in tents which seem to have taken over the fridge and kitchen, so it was impossible to store anything in the fridge. Whwn we talked to our neighbors, they also said they had an issue with the owners when they checked in..
