Our campsites are on scenic, levelled areas overlooking the large dam and bushland, with grassed areas ideal for tents and camper-vans, and a portaloo a short walk away. The block is a natural timber and grassland block, with devils, quolls and wombats also residing here. We have one powered site available, and multiple unpowered sites.
There is a lovely walking track around the dams periphery. Feed fish from the edge, spot platypus frolicking about, and keep your eye out for Peacocks wandering the property too. Whilst you are welcome to bring your dog with you, please ensure they don't harass the wildlife.

Please note: some front wheel drive motorhomes have encountered difficulty getting up the driveway. If you have rented a Fiat Motorhome you wont be able to get to the campground

The Little Garden Farm is a small farm with a private and exclusive Campsite - The Woodlander. The Little Garden Farm is a 100-acre forest and pasture farm that we began improving in 2023. The property is located at the base of Bruny's Isthmus, enjoying cool sea breezes in summer and mild temperatures in winter.
The Woodlander Campsite is set in our bottom forest paddock, next to a dam, with a seasonal winter creek. It is private and peaceful, with no other campers, houses, or nearby neighbours. We welcome travellers, with up to two vehicles, who are here to enjoy the peace and quiet (no parties please).
The campsite has its own separate access, site toilet, solid picnic table and chairs, firepit and and is approximately 600 meters from where we live. Next to 70 acres of forest the location is great for birdlife, with many of Tassie's endemics around, and other wildlife abundant after dark. We are always happy to help with birding or wildlife tips!
Based approx 5 minutes from Alonnah and 10 minutes from Adventure Bay, the "Woodlander" is central to so much of what Bruny Island has to offer.

Great spot. I had the place to myself for two nights and loved it. The river is gorgeous and babbles you to sleep. Would recommend to an enemy. Fire pits, toilets and showers, what more do you want. I did see a yeti and a shooting star but no wombats or platypus, might have to go back. Thank you so much.

Woodlander is an idyllic camp. You have the whole place to yourself and the safety of a locked gate.
Rachel and Ben have done a brilliant job of creating the perfect camping area. From the Hobbit Hut to the ultra-safe warmth fire stove. Even in the wet there is enough rubble and gravel area to avoid most of the mud. The composting toilet is clean and mostly odour free and has a clever solution to keep the door closed despite timber expanding and contracting with the weather. Rachel and Ben were very friendly and helpful. Highly Recommended!

Highly recommend! We had the place to ourselves. Beautiful Nina Patina fire pit with tons of excellent firewood available for purchase at the site. Toilet available - clean, new, even had water and hand soap! The views were spectacular. Night was quiet. Very convenient. We even decided to go back at the end of our trip we enjoyed it so much. The sites were nice and had flat ground for tents or campers. Might get a bit chilly and windy up on the hill exposed but the views birds sunrises and sunsets were worth it.

With pets
We stayed on a powered site for a week. It was a lovely camp - well organised. Facilities were clean and modern. Host was very accommodating when we extended our stay. Would recommend especially with kids as there were animals. Lovely walk around the lake.

An amazing campsite with magnificent 360 views. We were fortunate to have two nights here, completely to ourselves. Peaceful time just enjoying the scenery and a campfire or two.
