Our campsites are on scenic, levelled areas overlooking the large dam and bushland, with grassed areas ideal for tents and camper-vans, and portaloos a short walk away. The block is a natural timber and grassland block, with devils, quolls and wombats also residing here. We have several powered site available, and multiple unpowered sites
There is a lovely walking track around the dams periphery. view fish from the edge, spot platypus frolicking about, and keep your eye out for Peacocks wedge tail eagles or sea eagles wandering the property too. Whilst you are welcome to bring your dog with you, please ensure they don't harass the wildlife.

The topography slopes up from the road to a large flat top and is dotted with weathered gum trees. The property has good access for all vehicles and there are plenty of flat sites for camping at the top of the property. Some minor leveling may be required in parts for RVs and Caravans. Plenty of space though to find your own peaceful, private patch. And you're welcome to bring your dog along too!
Please note: some front wheel drive motorhomes have encountered difficulty getting up the driveway. If you have rented a Fiat Motorhome you wont be able to get to the campground

Our property runs beef and cultivates crops alongside the Ringarooma river, North East Tasmania. We often host mountain bike riders here to access the world-class trails at Derby. Nearby are many marked mountain trails, and numerous falls. Skiing is 1hr away in the winter.
Our camping site is alongside cattle grazing paddocks and the Ringarooma river, and we offer one site only, to one group at a time, so it's yours exclusively. A toilet is available nearby.
A gravel track descends to the river with a short steep bank preceding the flats. When the track reaches the river the camping site is just through the gate on the right. One gate and two wire gates may require opening on the way and these gates need to be closed again to prevent cattle from wandering. Electrical fencing is in use and alive - please be careful!
Wood for your campfire is available to purchase, $15. I can supply fresh sourdough loaves $6 also fresh eggs $3perhalf doz, and fresh cows milk most of the year $5/2L. Fly fish for trout and cook over the coals for a treat.
Welcome to bring your dog along, but please keep them under control.

WildWing Retreat is a beautiful 25 acre bush block in Four Mile Creek, located within a 15 minute (1km) walk, to the local surf beach of Four Mile.
The property has been created to host retreats centred around nature immersion, movement and connection (i.e yoga, bodywork, dance, meditation, mindfuness, embodiment practices etc) and in the 'off season' it's available to host hipcampers!
The space has been designed to host large groups, so there are full facilities available to use, including 3 x compost toilets, a fully equipped communal kitchen with all plates, bowls, cups and cutlery, pots and pans, gas cookers and fresh running hot and cold water. There is also an undercover deck/hangout area, a shower block with 5 hot showers, and a wood-fired cedar barrel hot tub (refer to the extras section for hot tub use!).
There are walking tracks throughout the property, including a track that leads directly to the beach (15 min walk) and another to our on-site fresh water creek for plunging in!
We are surrounded by native wildlife and the property blooms with native Kunzea bushes, wattles, native cherries and various varieties of eucalyptus.
There is a beautiful large fresh water river and waterhole just down the road (15 minute walk, or 2 minute drive), and aside from the surf beach down the front, we are also only a 10-15 minute drive from a bunch of other beautiful and popular surf beaches on the east coast. The whole area is great for fishing, boating, surfing, bike riding, walking and short hikes.
We are a 10 minute drive from Falmouth, a 25 minute drive from the St Helens mountain bike trails, a 30 minute drive from Bicheno and Douglas Apsley National Park, a 45 minute drive from the infamous Bay of Fires and an hours drive from the Freycinet National Park.
We only open up 5 sites at a time, to ensure everyone has plenty of space and a beautiful experience on the land.

There is an undercover outdoor small kitchen with a 2 burner gas stovetop, basic kitchenware (with hand-held coffee grinder and aeropress), sink, solar lighting and rechargeable camping lanterns.
The toilet is a private eco-throne with a view to Bare Rock. It is composting and only a short walk from the cabin.
We provide you with wood for the indoor wood stove, an esky, bed linen, towels, tea-towels, basic kitchenware, cooking basics and toilet paper.
The kitchen sink and bath water comes from a spring fed dam, perfect for washing your dishes and bathing in. Please bring your own fresh drinking water.
Please note this is rustic accommodation, the cabin doesn’t have 240v, only a solar powered charging port with USB-A/C inputs to recharge the camping lanterns and your devices. You may wish to bring head torches for night time reading and card games!
There is no wifi available but there is strong mobile phone service.

Very private valley nestled between two mountainous sandstone ranges. 3.5 kilometers from Colebrook. The property in total size is 37 hectares half of which is gently undulating grassland slopes. These slopes lead to the banks of the beautiful Iles Creek which runs nearly all year round. The western range across the creek includes numerous caves within comfortable walking distance. The highest cave provides magnificent views to the East coast.
Camping options include non-designated sites either side of the creek under the huge black-wood trees, restricted to 4-wheel drive vehicles during winter and spring months, with a secluded site with year-round access for all vehicles.
At the entrance sits the first of the designated sites, the rest are accessed via the meandering road down 300 or so meters to the camping ground entrance for the other two sites. The last 500-700 meters of Yarlington road leading to the entrance is quite steep. Some two wheel drive vehicles towing large vans have found this challenging, while others haven't.
The two main camping areas now have a 'bush loo' in each site. if you wish to use these please use your own paper. Also, now for camper convenience the whole area has access to the campers' lounge and resource shelter. It contains First Aid and snake bite first aid kits. Water is available here. This reconstructed building was once The Campania Scouts and guides, hall.

The Little Garden Farm is a small farm with a private and exclusive Campsite - The Woodlander. The Little Garden Farm is a 100-acre forest and pasture farm that we began improving in 2023. The property is located at the base of Bruny's Isthmus, enjoying cool sea breezes in summer and mild temperatures in winter.
The Woodlander Campsite is set in our bottom forest paddock, next to a dam, with a seasonal winter creek. It is private and peaceful, with no other campers, houses, or nearby neighbours. We welcome travellers, with up to two vehicles, who are here to enjoy the peace and quiet (no parties please).
The campsite has its own separate access, site toilet, solid picnic table and chairs, firepit and and is approximately 600 meters from where we live. Next to 70 acres of forest the location is great for birdlife, with many of Tassie's endemics around, and other wildlife abundant after dark. We are always happy to help with birding or wildlife tips!
Based approx 5 minutes from Alonnah and 10 minutes from Adventure Bay, the "Woodlander" is central to so much of what Bruny Island has to offer.

Our night stay was awesome!! Camp sites are well spaced giving you enough privacy from the other campers, toilet was clean and nice, owners were lovely, everything was also extremely clean and tidy, the views were amazing and we both loved how it had a fire pit, table and fairy lights. Overall one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you guys

We had such a wonderful time camping! 🌿❤️ The kids loved running around, playing on the swings, enjoying the waterfalls, listening to the soothing sounds of nature, and hunting for ladybugs and of course the outdoor cinema 🐞💦
We loved how peaceful and quiet the place was, with plenty of space for the kids to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors. Most of all, we cherished the quality family time we spent together, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
A beautiful place, happy kids, and precious family memories. We absolutely loved it! 🏕️🥰❤️

We enjoyed the stay at Prosser’s, the view was beautiful, a really calm place, moreover, the toilet was absolutely clean and smelled good. There are many farepits onside and it is really spacious.
I’ll prob come back.

Nice gravel powered sites for a campervan or Motorhome. Lovely communal kitchen with a pizza oven which I can imagine would be the highlight among stayers!
Only downfall is that there is only one bathroom and shower so it could become an issue if the site is full.
I loved the chicken that came to visit us which had sadly passed away overnight when we were staying there 🙁

1 night at Valley's Nest
The things that stood out the most about the stay , was the position of the cabin , well thought out Layout of the site . BushGlamping that ticked all the boxes for us . Loved the Fire Bath with a view . The cabin windows allowed for good warming Before the evening Chill came through, and was warm all night thanks to good bed covers .
The View from the site was amazing thanks to good weather and sunsets, the mountains in the background are wild .

First time booking via Hipcamp and would definitely recommend Pauline’s place down by the river! Our anniversary weekend and we wanted to be with our dogs and away from people = accomplished! The resident platypus put on a show for us and the weather was perfect.

What a wonderful 2 nights! The hobbit hut was incredibly comfy and a lifesaver re the day of hail that occurred.
It pains me to admit, but the bathroom facility was cleaner and more lux than my bathroom at home.
Highly recommend. Incredibly location and just had such a wonderful time. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t regret it!!

Great space. Loved the extra security of a locked fence so we were able to leave our camper trailer and drive around. The hot shower, plumbed toilet, and wifi were a great extra especially as there is no cell service there.
We would definitely camp here again and recommend it to others.

My dogs and I loved camping at Fairview Farm! The dogs enjoyed all the sniffs and freedom to move. They woke up each morning and got the zoomies!
It is very much a working farm which is great to watch the happenings of from a distance. If you had a more explorative dog, I’d pack a good longline to make sure the cattle aren’t disturbed.
Sitting by the river and watching the platypus (if you’re super quiet a baby platypus might come out to play) and the Rakali darting around Is something I’ll never forget.
Pauline is a wonderful host and I’d highly recommend all of the extra offerings they have! Especially the delicious fresh milk.
