Our campsites are on scenic, levelled areas overlooking the large dam and bushland, with grassed areas ideal for tents and camper-vans, and portaloos a short walk away. The block is a natural timber and grassland block, with devils, quolls and wombats also residing here. We have several powered site available, and multiple unpowered sites
There is a lovely walking track around the dams periphery. view fish from the edge, spot platypus frolicking about, and keep your eye out for Peacocks wedge tail eagles or sea eagles wandering the property too. Whilst you are welcome to bring your dog with you, please ensure they don't harass the wildlife.

WildWing Retreat is a beautiful 25 acre bush block in Four Mile Creek, located within a 15 minute (1km) walk, to the local surf beach of Four Mile.
The property has been created to host retreats centred around nature immersion, movement and connection (i.e yoga, bodywork, dance, meditation, mindfuness, embodiment practices etc) and in the 'off season' it's available to host hipcampers!
The space has been designed to host large groups, so there are full facilities available to use, including 3 x compost toilets, a fully equipped communal kitchen with all plates, bowls, cups and cutlery, pots and pans, gas cookers and fresh running hot and cold water. There is also an undercover deck/hangout area, a shower block with 5 hot showers, and a wood-fired cedar barrel hot tub (refer to the extras section for hot tub use!).
There are walking tracks throughout the property, including a track that leads directly to the beach (15 min walk) and another to our on-site fresh water creek for plunging in!
We are surrounded by native wildlife and the property blooms with native Kunzea bushes, wattles, native cherries and various varieties of eucalyptus.
There is a beautiful large fresh water river and waterhole just down the road (15 minute walk, or 2 minute drive), and aside from the surf beach down the front, we are also only a 10-15 minute drive from a bunch of other beautiful and popular surf beaches on the east coast. The whole area is great for fishing, boating, surfing, bike riding, walking and short hikes.
We are a 10 minute drive from Falmouth, a 25 minute drive from the St Helens mountain bike trails, a 30 minute drive from Bicheno and Douglas Apsley National Park, a 45 minute drive from the infamous Bay of Fires and an hours drive from the Freycinet National Park.
We only open up 5 sites at a time, to ensure everyone has plenty of space and a beautiful experience on the land.

Basic bush camping beside a man-made lake on a 100-acre rainforest property. Only one person/group allowed at any time, and guests enjoy a private walking-track into the Tasman National Park to Tunnel Bay and can explore the property at their leisure. From Tunnel Bay, Shipstern Bluff is easily accessed, or a Cape Raoul circuit walk is a unique day-walk option. Early check-in and/or late check-out is fine. BYO firewood.
Please note: The main track is in excellent condition, but is very steep in parts, and the weather here is changeable and often extremely wild (as in, gale-force wild), thus this place is best suited to fit and well-prepared bushwalkers/campers. If your expectation is a quiet night around the fire, you may well be disappointed.
Your own small bathroom is available (with toilet and sink - hot water). Fresh drinking water is provided. Free Wifi access near the residence, otherwise patchy Optus and Telstra around the block. You can charge your devices at no cost.
The driveway and the property are not suitable for large campervans and typical commercial-style camping; this is a steep and slippery bush block. Two-wheel drive vehicle-access is generally fine, but care is required on the driveway. There is an opportunity for an extended stay in exchange for light gardening work, by prior discussion.
This is a private residence in a uniquely quiet and secluded location on the edge of a high-value national park. Due to serious fire risk and the potentially devastating impact on the surrounding area, campfires are highly restricted and permitted only in safe weather conditions. Check with me first.
The property is largely undisturbed temperate rainforest, featuring creeks, springs, a 35-metre waterfall (after good rain), great plant and animal diversity. You may spot a resident Tasmanian devil, and you’ll certainly be surrounded by native marsupials—plus the odd enthusiastic greeting from my doodle dog, Roo.

The Craigbourne Dam is a all year round recreational fishing ground and stocks many species of fish i.e. Atlantic Salmon, Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout to name a few.
Our property is a pet friendly park but we do ask all patrons to be considerate of the surrounding farmland and live stock .
As we are a fully self contained campground we do not provide power, toilets or showers. You'll need to have your own amenities and discard of any rubbish .

At Hill Top Farm Meander we run beef cattle and five working draught horses. Our property boasts commanding views of Huntsman lake , the Great Western Tiers and Meander Valley. The surrounding mountains create a dramatic backdrop for Hill Top Farm. Our farm displays an abundance of natural beauty, with crystal clear springs and a diversity of mature and rare forest timbers. There are numerous well known walks to do nearby, Meander Falls, Mother Cummings Peak and Smoko Falls to name a few. Huntsman Lake is a great favourite of fly fishermen and kayakers alike, there is also a very pleasant picnic grounds there, swimming hole and boat ramp.
The village of Meander is 4 kms away offering a wonderful cafe , where the staff are friendly and the hamburgers , coffee and cakes are fantastic.
As we have no facilities on our farm yet, so we ask that all campers must be fully self contained, with their own toilet , water and power.

Stooge Farm is located in its own peaceful valley along the Mersey River and has some of the best fishing, swimming and kayaking opportunities you could find anywhere. There are numerous campsites along the riverbanks, as well as beautiful walks along the river.
Stooge Farm is a safe and secluded place away from the hustle and bustle of the mad modern world. As well as camping, it is also available to rent for a variety of purposes; as the ultimate fishing retreat, for wedding, birthday and other significant life events, as a yoga, meditation and lifestyle retreat, or simply the ultimate holiday destination. This is such a special place that you really need to come and experience it for yourself to believe it. We await your visit.

- Campers must have their own toilet and must remove all waste and rubbish. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all time.
- River water is available but drink at own risk.
- We recommend a strong vehicle, and a 4WD when towing caravans as the road in is steep.

Russell Falls Cottages at the entrance to Mt Field National Park offer self-contained, self-catering accommodation suitable for couples and families. Four spacious cottages – each set a comfortable distance apart on a beautiful piece of paradise . Also offering Unique warm Camping Pods with single, Queen and King beds. Camping sites also available.
The property is surrounded by the Tyenna River and has an abundant of wildlife such as pademelons, possums, platypus, , Quolls, bandicoots, Eagles and other wildlife are frequently seen especially our resident echidna who wonders happily around the property. A footbridge across the river leads directly to Mount Field National Park, with the National Park Visitor’s Centre and the famous Russell Falls Waterfalls just meters away. The path passes through temperate tree fern rainforest, populated by glow worms. A minimum three nights stay is recommended as this area has so much to offer- Mt Fields walks and water falls- Junee caves- styx valley and land of the Giants- Strathgordon dam-creepy crawly walk-Lake Dobson- Rail track ride- Maydena adventure hub- Tassie bound adventures and you will need time to relax and enjoy Russell Falls cottages and the peaceful river, rain forest and birdlife.

Located 1km outside Branxholm, upstream of the Ringarooma River, is a 36-acre private business estate where you'll find your Hipcamp on a small, private stretch of river frontage.
This camp provides a scenic, quiet camp away from the chaotic crowd of a caravan park.
Fires are permitted. Firewood is provided upon request.
Please be fully self-contained as there are no toilets or facilities. We ask that you don't wander around the property unless discussed with the owner.

This was an excellent camp. I was camping in heavy rain in the middle of Tasmanian winter. There was no problems with getting off the camp area, it drains very quickly. I also didn't have any issues getting in and out of the access drive. The site was stunning alongside the Mersey River which was in full flow due to the rain. Ryan and Caddie were excellent communicators. I really appreciate them making their beautiful property available for others to enjoy. Thankyou.

A great camp close to the attractions of the North West Coast. Ten minutes from the coastal town of Wynyard. The sites are well-maintained, and the Hosts are always welcoming. A great family-oriented site that I would highly recommend.

Such a lovely area, right next to the river with flat grassy camping areas and fire pits. Closest town with shops Ouse is not too far with a drive through Tassie countryside, what more could you ask for!

Ladybug Campground is a wonderful quaint property, perfect to get back to basics and enjoy nature. Small touches available such as firewood for purchase, hand cart/trolley and cooking basics including washing up liquid and paper towel (Campsite #3) makes your trip easier to manage. Peter and Kim are very accommodating and lovely to communicate with.

Dragon River Campground is an amazing place to unwind and recharge. The location is absolutely stunning, offering plenty of privacy and a real sense of escape from everyday life.
Graham was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
For anyone looking for some genuine rest and relaxation, this is the perfect getaway. I highly recommend booking the sauna and plunge experience as well — it’s a fantastic addition and something truly special that takes your stay to the next level.

Excellent area to camp. So peaceful. Richard met us on the way in and was very friendly. All camp areas clearly marked, so no problems finding our spot. We stayed at the beginning of winter, so only one’s there. Fire pits are there. Couple of eagles flying around each day. Will definitely go back again when the weather is warmer.
