Located opposite a cherry orchard close to supermarkets and food outlets, the property has land for off grid self contained camping and caravans. Unfortunately we do not have toilet facilities on the property. It's within 20 minutes of Hobart, within 2 km of Bonnorong wild life park and 1 km from motor racing circuit. Close to the picturesque town of Richmond a colonial town established in early 1800s. Dog friendly but must be controlled as we have many native animals such as galahs, native hens, ducks, rosella's, echidnas. We grow our own vegetables, have a vast array of fruit trees and variety of berries and free range eggs. Guest's must have their own toilet and shower facilities on board.Enjoy the peace and quiet nestled amongst native trees and listen to the vast array of lorikeets, cockatoos, kookaburras, Rosellas, and native animals, We have all grass sites available and plenty of space to spread your wings. Fire pits are welcome and we can supply eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables for a small fee. Kids and fur babies are most welcome. Although there is a dam on site please be careful as its not fenced.

Thank Rob, your place is well maintained and a good spot for visiting Hobart and surrounding areas. A good mix of sunny and shade spots. A bit of road noise but not troubling at night. Lovely bird songs were pleasant.

Great spot !
We really enjoyed this place ! Only 20 min from Hobart very easy to get to the city and explore. Rob and Lisa were incredible ! So welcoming, warm, relaxed and accommodating. We travel with our little 2 year old red heeler, so finding a place that allows dogs is very important to us. Only for self contained campers 100% recommend!

Great stay
Rob is just amazing! Super friendly and so very helpful. We’re travelling Australia and stayed here to explore Hobart and it’s a great spot to drive in and out off. You can buy fresh eggs also and they’re delicious. If in season you can get some fresh fruit. Thank you for having us. We really enjoyed our stay and your company.
