The site was clean and tidy. Rob takes pride in it. Rob is very friendly, but don't get ideas about going native. Bring your toilet with you. Fail to do so and you'll be shown the gate.

We loved staying on Rob and Lisa’s property, short drives to everything of interest and Rob’s knowledge of the area was gratefully received. These guys gave us a wonderful Tasmanian warm welcome, there hospitality and warmth will bring us back for sure, fresh eggs each day was an added bonus, fire pits allowed, area is gated, easy to find and it is a quiet spot with water access if you need to fill up. Rob is a guy that you easily warm to, he just makes your heart smile !

Great spot, within 20 minutes of Hobart Centre , but felt we were out in the countryside. No facilities (other than water) as expected but more than compensated by the space - we had the field to ourselves. Loved it!

Sunnybanks is a lovely flat space with limited sites to give room to each van. The hosts were lovely - really friendly and generous with the use of kindling and firewood on the property. It was closer to the road than we expected, so didn’t have that sense of privacy, but we still enjoyed our stay.

Rob & Lisa were welcoming and helpful and open to any feedback.
The location is excellent, close to Hobart, Richmond, wineries and shopping. We stayed 6 nights and used this as our base and even day tripped down as far as Southport.
Unfortunately the road noise was consistent as it seems to be on a thoroughfare and the sites are at the front of the property.

Thank Rob, your place is well maintained and a good spot for visiting Hobart and surrounding areas. A good mix of sunny and shade spots. A bit of road noise but not troubling at night. Lovely bird songs were pleasant.

Only 20 min from Hobart very easy to get to the city and explore.
Rob and Lisa were incredible !
So welcoming, warm, relaxed and accommodating.
We travel with our little 2 year old red heeler, so finding a place that allows dogs is very important to us.
Only for self contained campers
100% recommend!

Rob is just amazing! Super friendly and so very helpful. We’re travelling Australia and stayed here to explore Hobart and it’s a great spot to drive in and out off.
You can buy fresh eggs also and they’re delicious. If in season you can get some fresh fruit.

Great Hipcamp, such a central location and also close to Hobart CBD. We based ourselves out of here for 1 week and explored a lot of the area, you will be surprised how much is in the surrounding areas to see.
Sites are very flat and level, we didn’t need to use our ramps at all. Some road noise during the day but does ease off at night time, didn’t bother us as we were out during the day. Hipcamp felt safe & secure.
Hosts are also lovely people and very helpful with local recommendations.
