Located just down the hill from the main retreat area, this peaceful riverside zone offers privacy with easy access to all the fun. This paddock has 8 undesignated sites, giving you the freedom to arrive, spread out and choose the perfect spot for yourself or your group 🏕️ You’ll be only steps away from the communal fire pit 🔥 ideal for toasting marshmallows and swapping stories and the rope swing, always a hit with kids and the young at heart. The nearby Fairy Walk, a whimsical trail through the trees, starts just around the corner and leads to Campsite 3 🧚 With flat terrain, sunny exposure, and river access on both sides River Flats is one of our most loved spots. Children 3 and under camp free 4WD is required if towing Front-wheel drive motorhomes are not suitable for this paddock due to traction issues when exiting

We enjoyed camping near the river and sitting by the fire relaxing while the kids enjoyed feeding the goats, playing at the playground and bike riding. We love forward to coming back in the summer to go swimming.

There is so very much that l loved about my stay at this property to mention in a few sentences but l will say the attention to detail and love that has been poured into the place was heartwarming and inspiring. The signage is fabulous! keep an eye open for a thylacine or two and the grounds are beautifully kept. l felt like l was basking in the tranquility and peace interspersed with the excitement of the odd mountain bike rider doing a hot lap around the circuit. Highly recommend this camp to all. Good job to the team at Inglis River Caravan and Camping

Campsite 1 - Hideaway Haven🌳
Our group enjoyed camping at Inglis River Caravan and Camping sites. This was our second stay and love that it is quiet with a large camping area and nice designated firepits. We originally chose this site as we can bring our dogs with us for the weekend as well. Kids loved the play area and exploring the fairy garden! Would absolutely recommend to others 😊

What a set up! Well done Aaron and Amanda on such a Beautiful camping spot by the river! We had the whole place to ourselves so got to explore at our leisure. Love the fire pots and the rock painting idea. The paddock mushrooms made a delicious breakfast 😋 The bird life is amazing. Can’t wait to go back and spend more time. This was a well organised camping area, green grass, lots of level areas, babbling river and a fairy walk. Plenty of great fire pots sprinkled around and friendly owners who played Easter bunny and helpers hopping around the camp site with choc eggs for everyone. Gravel roads mildly steep but no drama even after an overnight rain

Fabulous family camping spot where the owners have provided so many wonderful features throughout the sites to ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy their camping experience. The fairy walk is especially a highlight for youngsters - a bit precarious in places as there’s a steep embankment but it’s a magical area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Inglis River. We stayed on campsite 4 which was right on the creek and close to the rope swing which the whole family loved. The hosts were lovely and communication was great. We ended up extending our stay.

So cool. Close to town, but you feel like you’re hours away. So well set up for the kids with sandpit, play equipment, fishing, kayaking, swimming, rope swing into the river and plenty of space for activities ! Highly recommended and the best hosts too by the way!
