Located an hours drive North West of Hobart near the quaint little town of Ouse (pronounced - ooze) and set on the pristine Derwent River. Like so many of the towns on the Derwent River, this region is very popular with bushwalkers, fishing enthusiasts, and mountain bike riders.
Overlooking the "pot-belly" of the Derwent River, This place is a fishing and kayaking heaven . Have a swim in summer, kayak or go for an adventure on your mountain bike. There are two kayaks and two SUPs you are welcome to use. And there is a boat ramp just a few kms down the road to launch your boat.
The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs.
The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! It's a simple bunkhouse, providing shelter to sleep, in a great location. If you wish to make use of the firepit, you'll need to BYO wood, this firepit is not often used. Instead, we'd recommend bringing a small portable bbq with you to set up by the river!

Partridge Farm BnB and self contained holiday accommodation on Flinders Island is situated on the southern end of the Strzelecki Range within the eucalyptus trees overlooking Franklin Sound & the outer Furneaux Islands.
We are four star Bed and Breakfast accommodation with free range partridges, guinea pigs, Cape Barren geese, deer and dorper sheep, also with a large fruit orchard and olive trees.
Partridge Farm has three private modern units and a Gypsy Cabin – relax in comfortable holiday accommodation on your Flinders Island Holiday – all our rooms have panoramic views of Franklin Sound.
Access to the island is by boat or plane. We recommend going by plane as it is a lot quicker and more reliable. Peter Barron does chartered flights from Bridport for under $400 and can work to your schedule (in most cases).
We recommend staying on Flinders Island for a minimum of 4 nights to ensure you have plenty of time to explore all the natural beauty that is on offer.

When you return from the day’s activities you can fuel up at the Branxholm IGA visit one of the many restaurants in the area or in summer take a dip in the Branxholm public swimming pool. Or fire up the fire pit for a night under the stars toasting marshmallows.

There is so very much that l loved about my stay at this property to mention in a few sentences but l will say the attention to detail and love that has been poured into the place was heartwarming and inspiring. The signage is fabulous! keep an eye open for a thylacine or two and the grounds are beautifully kept. l felt like l was basking in the tranquility and peace interspersed with the excitement of the odd mountain bike rider doing a hot lap around the circuit. Highly recommend this camp to all. Good job to the team at Inglis River Caravan and Camping

The bus itself was completely equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay, and was especially comfortable for our stay in winter, due to the heater and electric blanket that kept us cozy our entire stay :) Liam was a great host who was very accomodating! The beach and nature are also incredibly close. Highly recommend the journey out of Hobart to visit! Thank you for having us Liam!

Our group enjoyed camping at Inglis River Caravan and Camping sites. This was our second stay and love that it is quiet with a large camping area and nice designated firepits. We originally chose this site as we can bring our dogs with us for the weekend as well. Kids loved the play area and exploring the fairy garden!

We had a wonderful stay. It’s a peaceful place on a beautiful property with excellent camp sites that are well maintained and thoughtfully laid out. The host provided clear information before we arrived, making everything easy to find and ensuring a smooth check-in. A great camp close to the attractions of the North West Coast. Ten minutes from the coastal town of Wynyard. The sites are well-maintained, and the Hosts are always welcoming. A great family-oriented site that I would highly recommend.
