Absolutely amazing place clean and the host was extremely responsive and helpful with questions and the ability to give maps for the top tourist spots! 10/10 would recommend!!

Scamander Sanctuary Caravan park is well set out, toilet and free shower facilities are clean and modern. Great safe playground for kids. Able to ride bicycles around the park. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the beach, but beach was raging with big and fast waves, being not safe for swimming. Short walk to local cafes. Friendly staff. I definitely do not recommend the use of Hipcamp to book any camping or caravan bookings. Hipcamp is a total rip off!! Much better to book your own accommodation.

One of best campsites I've stayed in. Large camp kitchen in an enclosed space. Spacious toilet & shower rooms, lots of privacy. Great location, very peaceful. Very clean.

Very well serviced site, whose host accommodated us in a welcoming and straightforward way. Private bathrooms (toilet/sink/shower) very clean. Remember to bring laundry powder if planning to do some washing, which we unfortunately forgot!

The park is very clean and well organised. The facilities are of a high standard. We went on a long weekend but still found the park very quiet. If you head to this region visit the Winifred Curtis REserve - the bird life is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay.

Great spot for camping and caravaning, the facilities were excellent and clean. Only lost half a star for the dump point being full, this should be cleaned more often.

We had a lovely time in the park. The beach is really close. We loved that there were individual cubicles with toilets and showers together and they were very clean and new. We hope to be back!

Perfect location for exploring the East Coast (very central). The camp is walking distance to the beach. Lots of bandicoots, possums and native birds. The first couple of nights we were glamping, then we moved to the camp grounds. The glamping tent was such a treat! Especially the wood heated bath tub. Highly recommend! Matt and his mum are both lovely. We decided to stay for longer than our original booking and Matt was very accomodating at finding us another site. Matt has a few dogs that travel around with him on the back of his ute. The kids loved greeting Matt and the dogs as he did his rounds. It adds to the charm!

Scamander Sanctuary was a pleasant stop on our trip around Tasmania, a convenient location near Bicheno and the Bonorong Animal Sanctuary. We stayed only one night in the off season. We had our choice of camping spots for our van. The site was very clean and well organized with modern toilets, showers and laundry, a welcome sight after days on the road. We really enjoyed the very large guest kitchen, great for large groups of people. I would definitely recommend this campsite. In the summer it could be a bit crowded as some sites are close together, so privacy is limited.

We had a lovely night at Scamander Sanctuary. Friendly greeting on arrival as well as lots of facilities that were clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again if we were passing through.
