We spend 4 night's at Nick's Nook and enjoyed all 4 nights. The sites are of good size and were eazy to maneuver both van & car. There were fire pits supplied . We had some small visitors in the afternoon and enjoyed there company.

Self-contained, no fuss site. Peaceful and quiet with easy access to Coles Bay & Frecinet area. Tea Tree site was lovely and level for the Camper. Gate code meant easy and secure stay.

Very peaceful area, well laid out with a lot of room. Excellent base to explore the region. We spent a few days over a long weekend and couldn't be happier with our experience at Nick's Nook. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Nick’s Nook on the site Rootail. The sites are huge and quite level. It was a great place to base ourselves to explore Coles Bay, Bicheno and do several of the walks at the Freycinet National Park. We’d looked at several of the free camp options in the area beforehand but everybody was crammed into them. Taj was extremely responsive and responded quickly to our booking request and other communications. We loved the privacy, peacefulness and the security we had during our stay. Each camp site has a fire pit, which we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to light during our stay because it was windy, but we loved the regular visits from the wallabies each evening. We would definitely recommend Nick’s Nook as a great place to stay when visiting this area.

Lomandra was the perfect (very large) site and such a great spot to base yourself for visiting frecinet and Cole’s bay with a dog.
The site was beautifully kept and cleared with clear designated areas. We were lucky and no other groups were there while we were, so we had the entire site to ourselves, the kids loved riding around on their bikes and the dog was able to be off leash with us. 10/10

Perfect patch of land for our own private campsites. They are very big and we had a beautiful fire under the stars.

Loved this camp spot, plenty of room, dog friendly. Great privacy between camps sites. Close to many of the local attractions. Booked 2 nights stayed for 3. Very peaceful, fantastic nights sleep. Cute fury visitors.

Nick's Nook suited us well, on the very edge of Freciynet National Park.
Access is good, just take it slow. No problems with overhanging branches, our 3.6m height was fine. Nice level sites, well separated and quite private. We met the landowner who was lovely. We enjoyed our neighbours, the possum and wallabies. Saw Wombat poo, but despite walking out at night, we didnt spot one. But there is always a chance. Recommended.

We loved our stay. The site was very quiet, very flat and extremely generous in size. Although it was a little windy on the days we were there the location was much more protected than other locations near by. We also found the location close and convenient to the town of Coles Bay.

We loved camping at Nick's Nook with our kids. The sites are large, clean and clear, with ground cover so there wasn't dirt going through the camper. Taj, the host, was very welcoming. We will definitely be going back to stay again with family and friends.

Our first Hipcamp experience and it was great. Easy to find, clean and tidy. We stayed in Tea Tree and there was no one next to us, so it was quiet at night, however it was right at the main junction so people leaving in the morning did cop an eye full of us in our pjs with bed hair. But perfect location, about 10 minutes from Coles Bay.

This Hipcamp was in such a great location for exploring Freycinet National Park. We really appreciated being able to book last minute – just a few hours before we arrived. The self-check-in was seamless; we didn’t need to meet any hosts and simply drove in and found our spot easily.
The site itself was beautiful! Our spot was carved out between flowering bushes that were absolutely gorgeous. We had plenty of distance from other campers, making it feel very private and picturesque.
Everything was straightforward, and as we were fully self-contained, it all worked perfectly for us. Highly recommend this. *the fire pit was a great add although we didn’t use it.

Perfect quiet spot and only a short drive to the crows of Coles Bay and Bicheno. We heard a Tassie Devil and saw Wallaby's and Paddy Melons. Such a great spot we extended our stay for an extra week.

Thanks for having us at Nicks Nook. The Lomandra site was easily accessible in our 18’8 caravan. We loved the grassy flat site. It was very private and quiet. Lots of wildlife out and about. Close location to explore Wine Glass Bay, Bicheno, local wineries and Swansea areas. Although we did not meet Taj, he was very responsive to any messages.

We camped up at Nick’s Nook for one night, it was a great site, level and generously sized, we arrived to a fire pit waiting for us which we happily used. Quiet spot, very pretty surrounds and handy location.
