Wendy and Dale are super helpful and responsive. The camp grounds are clean/tidy and provided everything I needed for a weeks’ stay. The shower was hot/clean and as a solo female camper, I felt safe the whole time.

The grounds are well located in a beautiful setting, and the woman, Wendy, who does the meet and greet and issues receipts is wonderful. I assume it is also Wendy who keeps the shower spotless. But when we were there there were 12 guests and there is only ONE combined shower/toilet room - plus the only place you can get potable water is in that room. No water or functioning sink in the kitchen/dining area. There’s a mini rice cooker, kettle, toaster, microwave - and a pizza oven!!!
It was beautiful, but I don’t see how it can be to code.

Place was clean and tidy during the couple of days I stayed here. The bathroom facilities were good enough for camping, kitchen/bbq area was nice, and it’s nested in a comfy little area about 45 minutes away from Cradle Mountain. Trying to map out my trip and had a problem with the WiFi of course as you do when camping but Dale and Wendy (sorry I might have forgot her name but I think that’s it) were quick to get it resolved so I could have some entertainment and shelter from the rainy weather. Would recommend for sure!

The location is a good spot (close to a number of lookouts/things to see and about 35 mins from Cradle)
The ad oversells the camp a little. When we stayed, the camp kitchen had no water, no gas for the burner or the pizza oven and no sink for washing up.
There’s a shower/toilet, but that’s also the only water source, so you have to wait for if you want water for cooking/cleaning (also, it’s a bit gross, getting water for cooking from the tap next to a toilet)..
Lastly, if you want a powered site, it’s extra. That should be clearer in the ad.

A small campground in nice surroundings. Ideal for a self contained camper, but fine if you are prepared to be a little patient waiting for the one toilet. Camp kitchen is good for the cost with power available on some sites.

The location was great for accessing cradle mountain and the camp ground surroundings were nice. There was no tap on the water outlet and only 1 toilet so a lot of queuing for showers in evening and toilet in the morning.

Lovely spot with so much to do around, toilets and shower were great, kitchen facilities were good, the site was amazing. Only 30 mins away from cradle park and 15 mins away from Sheffield ( has a decent IGA shop )

Almost perfect as a place to use as a base for sightseeing. Go up to Round Hill lookout for sunset...
It needs a cooktop and another shower as well as kitchen sink so that shower, toilet, sink is not all in one room.

This campsite was close to cradle mountain, quiet and clean. We loved the privacy and kind people who also camped here. Wendy was very helpful and met us as we arrived.

This campsite was disappointing. The lady who owns/manages it is a bit rude and quite bossy, not a good start. The ground she let us setup our tent on was very rocky and hard, genuinely the worst one we’ve ever camped on. There’s also only one spot where you can wssh dishes + take a shower - so only one shower for the whole camp. We had to wait over an hour just to wash our dishes after dinner. There’s two other additional toilets which didn’t even have soap and no light, so a bit tricky at night. Would not stay at again.

The lady that hosts the camp is lovely, however, I wouldn’t stay here again. The sites are very small, you are very close to the people next to you. There is a camp kitchen but it does not have a cooktop/stove, oven or sink. The only sink is in the bathroom which is constantly used by people having a shower.
The shower and bathroom is clean and great but I wouldn’t book here if you are counting on a functional camp kitchen.

Big shout out to Wendy who was an amazing host and gave great insight into close walks around the area aside from Cradle Mountain. Miss Chook was also a delight to have every morning saying hi.

The site was perfect for our needs. Wendy showed us arond when we arrived, the facilities were adequate and she was friendly. All you need for a couple of nights.
Great location- in between Cradle Mountain National Park and Sheffield.
The Cafe served great coffee too.

Great camp-site. Well located to use as a base to explore from each day. Power and water connected. Hot shower with good pressure. Clean facilities. Great camp kitchen, with pizza oven, BBQ, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle.great hospitality and special mention to Wendy. Mrs chook also provide fun interaction for us and our 3 kids. Highly recommend families seeking an adventure and a well located, friendly and well provided camp site

I was greeted on arrival and shown the appropriate camping spots. Caretaker was super nice and friendly. The campsite has all the right amenities- fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave so it’s easy to organise your food. Also a pizza oven and barbecue. Owner came over with muffins on my first morning which was super nice. Chicken seemed to undo my tent pegs while I was away during the day. Overall great stay with lovely views.

The website advertises $5.00 for electric hookups. If the request does not get submitted properly, they charge you $10 on-site at check-in. Water is also only included if you pay for the electricity. But you can’t use the water at your leisure because the handle for the faucet is not attached. Apparently people take the faucet handles??
They advertise a kitchen area, and when you arrive you are instructed to use your own kitchen, and only use theirs if absolutely necessary.
If you use the shower, you are required to mop
the floor because the shower door is too short.
WiFi is also advertised, but it is a weak signal.
If they don’t want you to use their amenities, which we’re all run down at best, don’t advertise them.
Thankfully we were self contained and did not need to use their kitchen.

The caretaker was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. We met the friendly chook.
There was no sink in the camp kitchen.
Only the one bathroom with one toilet and shower. No soap or mirror. We felt that the facilities would really struggle if they were more than a few campers there.
We felt that this campground was a bit expensive for what was provided compared to other campsites on our trip

This is a fantastic campsite only 35 minute drive from cradle mountain visitors centre! The lady manning the site was wonderful, set us up with everything we needed and showed us the best place to pitch our tent! The hot shower was beautiful after a long day walking, and the small camp kitchen area was a nice place to take refuge from the cold of our tent! It had a couple plug sockets so you could change your phones or portable charger, a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and a table and chairs. There was an undercover outdoor bit too with a bench, bbq and pizza oven . The resident chicken Mrs.Chook was very sweet and friendly, she’s a vocal girl but loves pecking at your shoes bless her! Would highly recommend staying here!

A beautiful place, perfect for camping! The toilets and showers are excellent, and the kitchen is spotless. The lady who welcomed us was very kind and friendly. The surroundings are stunning to explore, making the whole experience even better. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone, 100%!
