This area is known for its beautiful beaches and bushwalks, and is a 15 minute drive from the friendly little township of Cygnet and one hour south of Hobart. It's a great location to explore the Huon Valley and Channel/Bruny regions. A beautiful and quiet area, you will be surrounded by the sounds of the ocean and bird song.Situated on a half acre, bush/garden setting which you are welcome to relax and meander in. It's also a beautiful stroll to several nearby beaches and walks, and a couple of kayaks that you are welcome to borrow ;) The cabin itself is a spacious, light filled space, furnished with a double bed and fold out (single). It is off grid, but there is some power available if needed. It's a welcoming space, though definitely prettier on the inside than out! The outdoor area is equipped with a cooking sink/table, with water accessed via a gravity fed tank. Gas cooker and/or firewood and a fridge is available for hire if required (see extras). There is access to an outdoor flushing toilet adjacent to the main house, a short distance from the cabin. Though the main house is near, the cabin is screened and very private and you can drive right up to it. Dogs welcome! But please request this before booking. No diggers, incessant barkers, or chasers (I have a cat and local wildlife). You will also need to relocate their doodoos 😉 Children and pets - Whilst most welcome to enjoy the yard, please ensure that they are supervised at all times and note that there is a shallow pond on the premises. The property is fully fenced and the gate can be closed if necessary.
