Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Perfect for star gazing the Milky Way and Nebulas. During fungi season, there are so many varieties to be found. Small playground with swings, slide, monkey bars and sandpit. The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm - Except January The St. Andrews market is every Saturday, 9am to 1pm just 12 minutes down the mountain. Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

Pollys paddock is named after a beautiful palomino horse named Polly, who lived here as a loved member of our family into her early 40s. Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples, mates , friends , camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by. Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses. We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches. This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block. We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power. There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden. The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided. It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks. All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet, and out doors bath. For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam. Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater. Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here. No dogs on the glamping tent site. Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood. No fires apart from in the fire pits provided are to be lit. Fires are to be extinguished before going to bed or leaving. We had such a special glamping stay at Rumah and left feeling so relaxed and grateful. Geoff and Amanda were incredibly kind and welcoming and you can really feel the care they’ve put into every part of the property. Everything was so thoughtfully set up and made our stay feel easy and comfortable. The outdoor shower and bath was a real highlight. Sitting under the stars at night was just beautiful and something we will always remember! It truly is such a peaceful, memorable place. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend! Thank you for a beautiful stay Amanda and Geoff! :)

Perfect weekend getaway at the love shack! came here for a solo getaway and it was so comfortable and cosy, exactly what I was after. The sunset and sunrises were spectacular and the animals were curious and wonderful company. Beautiful area, and kind people, I couldn’t ask for more!

Beautiful view and lots of space between the shacks/tiny houses. Be a great spot to have some mates and pitch a couple extra tents. Love Shack itself was pretty poky, some small things like the blinds weren't working great.

What a beautiful location Really enjoyed the isolation and little cocoon of privacy, the Eco cabin provided. Just what I needed to relax and unwind to finish some uni work uninterrupted by calls and emails . Would love to come back for a longer stay. As it was like arriving home to a big hug from grandma , as I was welcomed with a warm fire , fresh flowers, clean sheets and the option of a hot water bottle. Definitely will be back but shhh 🤫 it’s to sweet to share. Guests do need to be aware of its eco features and low impact mindset as outlined by Jo’s descriptions but they don’t impact on your stay if you know.

We had a lovely stay at Tamara’s camper van. It has everything we need and the dogs are happy too. I like seeing the high trees and the fog from the windows, there’s plenty of natural light from the caravan. Tamara is kind and gracious. Thank you for the extras. Tips driving from Melbourne, it will be easier to go via Whittlesea to avoid the windy road climb.

We had such a lovely stay at the Cozy Posy Van at the farm. The van was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. Tamara is an absolute star host and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. You can really see how much care has gone into creating such a special little getaway. The farm itself is beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect spot to switch off and unwind. We genuinely loved our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommend!

Jo's place is absolutely beautiful--we woke up to the most incredible flurry of birds in the tree outside the window by the bed. We loved the wood-burning stove, and had breakfast both mornings out on the patio. We had everything we needed and couldn't have been happier with our stay.

We love Jo's Studio. Beautiful inside and out. This time around, we used the fireplace which added to the cosiness. Great location, close to Venus Bay and beautiful Walkerville South. Highly recommended!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Love Shack. It's an ideal spot for camping, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable visit. We especially loved having both an outdoor fire pit and an indoor one. While strong winds and rain limited our outdoor activities, the convenient location, just a short drive to Yarram and close to Tarra-Bulga National Park, allowed us to enjoy a scenic rainforest walk and a picnic lunch. The area is stunning and provides plenty of opportunities for our kids to explore. The property does require some maintenance; for example, the bathroom door was jammed and wouldn't close properly, and the front door handle was loose. Nevertheless, our host Kate was warm, welcoming, and very responsive. All in all, we had a wonderful weekend at the Love Shack.
