We have 1 dogs, 3 goats, 5 pet sheep and seasonal lambs, 2 blue tongue lizards The farming area is completely fenced in, this is to keep the deer out, but you can venture out onto the property bush land with the correct map and navigation equipment. Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Perfect for star gazing the Milky Way and Nebulas. During fungi season, there are so many varieties to be found. Small playground with swings, slide, monkey bars and sandpit. The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm - Except January The St. Andrews market is every Saturday, 9am to 1pm just 12 minutes down the mountain. Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples, mates , friends , camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by. Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses. We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches. This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block. We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power. There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden. The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided. It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks. All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet, and out doors bath. For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam. Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater. Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here. No dogs on the glamping tent site. Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood. No fires apart from in the fire pits provided are to be lit. If you don't like dogs, this isn't the campsite for you. I have 5 of them, 4 little yappers and a one year old Rotwieller named Lillith. She is very friendly, loves kids, but she's a big meat head who is still learning. I use a squirter bottle to keep her settled. One look at that and she's off. I'll supply you with yours while you are here. 🤗 The Whip Stick Forest campsite is located on the outskirts of Bendigo. This is an ideal place to take a break away from it all. Peace and tranquility surrounded by nature. We are just far enough away from the town to offer the outdoors feel and close enough to town to enjoy sightseeing, and many outdoor activities and access to shops, fuel and most of the usual shopping needs. Here you will find a nice open space amongst the gum trees with drinking water, toilet, and outdoor shower. rubbish/recycling bins and access to wifi if needed. Relax under the stars with a warm fire in a secluded spot in the middle of open space and the fresh air. The property is fenced off, so you can feel safe and secure. You can relax and let the kids can run around knowing they are safe inside the camp ground. There are five dogs who live here. They are all friendly and love people. Lily the Rotwieller is only 12 months old and very playful. She has a thing for shoes, so please make sure they are always hidden away. Along with anything else you don't want a naughty puppy to make a meal of. If you don't like dogs you probably shouldn't stay here as my dogs love people. Only minutes from town where you will find supplies, close to the local swimming pool and 10 minutes from a popular watering hole. Enjoy all that Bendigo and surrounding areas have to offer, check out the historic gold mining attractions and come home to rest in a tranquil setting amongst the trees, the birds and the stars. Bendigo itself features some fantastic heritage architecture and a creative community. Be sure to check out coffee houses down little laneways and the many culinary options of the restaurants in town.

Tarwin Lower EcoStudio is not far out of town and the Tarwin River (4 kms), for boating, paddling and fishing. Sommerleigh has two huts on a small island in-between Breamlea and Torquay. 3km from Point Impossible Beach. Very rural, very small, very quiet, very sheltered and private. It is located on the billabong just east of the winery. Gas hot water and stove plus BBQ . Supplied base sheet and pillows for double bed. Tea and Coffee. William Buckley camped here! Great restaurants, surf beaches, and golf courses all close by.

This is such a beautiful space! Amanda was so welcoming and made sure that I had everything I needed :) The tent itself was gorgeous and felt like a private sanctuary. The shared facilities were in great condition and I adored the outdoor shower and being able to make a fire in particular. Thank you!

Quiet and cozy little studio with lovely hosts. Great experience in a fully off-grid facility with some super clever components for those intrigued by sustainability in the home. The garden is simply amazing, full of natives in Spring flower and Jo and Russell provided plenty of firewood for the indoor heater/oven and outdoor firepit.

Weekend Trip to Tarwin Lower Eco Studio (Off Grid)

Love Jo’s ECO Studio, clean and rustic and environmentally friendly. Jo is very welcoming on arrival and made we have everything we needed. The surrounding is beautiful and quiet only the sound of birds in the morning to wake up to. There are plenty of places nearby to see and do so you are in the best location. I can’t recommend Jo’s place highly enough.

Weekend Trip to Polly's Paddock

This glamping tent was out of a fairy tale!! Such a great option if you want to camp but don’t have all the equipment or are just going for a few nights! The facilities are so great and you could really just relax in the sun here forever! Or in front of one of the many fireplaces or fire pits! The hosts were so great giving us a tour when we arrived and making it clear that if we needed anything they were there to help! Couldn’t recommend enough :)

I had a wonderful night in the Cozy Pozy Van. I was greeted by a friendly goat and then started a campfire for a relaxing evening overlooking the Flower Farm. The van is well equipped and in a perfect location. The stars were amazing and so was the service. Highly recommend. Thanks Tamara and fam!
