Nestled in the heart of Mt Martha, Bay Park boasts 90 acres of natural bushland, a stone's throw from the stunning Mornington Peninsula beachs. Our park offers an array of activities from flying fox, archery, to the excitement of our BMX track, Bay Park is your destination for adventure, relaxation, and everything in between.

Fantastic campsite for a group of friends looking to have some quality outdoor time playing volleyball, cooking good food and chilling. Found a spot near the shower and toilet block which was handy. Toilets and showers were quite clean, until 2 days in when kids seemed to be trashing the place with toilet tissue and litter. Loved that they had 2 large sinks near the toilet block which made washing dishes super easy. Plenty of safe drinking water across all the taps. Very welcoming and accommodating hosts who allowed us to bring our elderly cat even though they dont normally allow pets. It’s just a shame there are some inconsiderate guests who are hoons and do laps at 3am or hard bass on their speakers late into the night.

A Memorable Family Camping Trip

It was our family’s first experience tent camping in the woods, so we weren’t quite sure how it would turn out. We chose Bay Park after seeing the positive reviews and because it was conveniently close to home. With the kids coming along, we thought it would be reassuring to have the option of heading home if things didn’t go to plan. However, from the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly. The ranger greeted us, showed us to our campsite, and explained where the showers and restrooms were located. We had also pre-booked a campfire, and the park provided the firewood and fire pit. We set up our tent, enjoyed a BBQ, spent a lovely evening around the campfire, and had a good night’s sleep. The following morning, we took a walk around the park, enjoyed some more time outdoors, packed everything up, and headed home. The kids absolutely loved the experience and even wanted to stay another night! It was a great first camping adventure for our family, and another camping trip is definitely on the cards soon. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxed and enjoyable camping experience.

The Cottage
We had a lovely stay at the Cottage. It was perfect for us as we had some people camping and some needed beds but we could all use the fire pit and gather together. The kids enjoyed just wandering around and playing in the outdoors! The one thing I will say was that the communication leading up wasn't very consistent and I had to put the request through a fair few times before it went through. I was organizing a birthday trip so wanted a lot of information but yes once we arrived it was great basic camp style accommodation! Great to have an indoor space in case of rain.

Great base for a family camping trip. Only an hour from Melbourne, close to Mt Martha beach, shops, and the rock pools — but quiet enough that we had the whole place to ourselves mid-week. The grounds are spacious and well maintained, with clean toilets and showers. Nothing fancy, but everything you need. It's a scout camp so there are extra activities on offer (bikes, mini golf, kayaking) — we didn't use them but great to know they're there for families with kids. Not an off-grid experience, but that's not what it's trying to be. Solid value for an easy getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our camping trip at Bay Park. Campsite was spacious, quiet and comfortable. There’s just something magical with camping amidst a woodland of towering pine trees! Toilets and showers were clean and relatively well maintained. Staff were friendly. It’s also great base for exploring the mornington peninsula and the calm beaches along the way.
