This property appears to be a normal house site but opens up to a large beautifully grassed area with large trees and gardens. Perfect for that quite getaway. We are not a caravan park!! We are an alternative to the cramped boxed in conditions you find in caravan parks. Plenty of space, green grass (when we have had rain) peace and quiet. Large 4800 square metre block. 4 camp sites all dog friendly sites. Gates are locked at night for safety. Great for kids and dogs to ride, run and play. We have a host dog Milo who loves pats and crashing under vans. You will see pictures of him on our website, He is very friendly and quiet. He does have the roam of the place. If you're not a dog person you may need to reconsider your booking. - Water and power available on request. Small fees apply. Unfortunately, we had to start charging due to excess use by some campers - Large campfire weather permitting, great for drinks and conversations. We encourage all campers to join in when the fires roaring, We supply some wood always good to bring a bit to keep the fire going. Fire restrictions govern use. - Plenty of off-street parking We encourage campers to park in the property common sense driving with kids and animals around Its ok to have friends over see camp rules - Close to supermarkets and shops. 5 minutes from town center by car, 25mins to Bellarine coastal beaches, 30mins to start of great ocean road, 1 hour to Lorne. - Has a pool (strict safety conditions apply to use) Not open all year. Check when booking pool - Short drive to Geelong Beach front, shops and bars 20 minutes from Bellarine Coast wineries - 10 minutes to adventure park, fabulous water park attraction, loads of rides and activities. Perfect for those hot days. Great fun for the kids. - Perfect for Spirt of Tasmania travelers, only a short 20min trip to the dock. Can accommodate late check in early check out guests - Tent available for hire. Give plenty of notice. - Transfers to Geelong CBD (available on request) Fee payableDog friendly site in front of property. 15 x 10 mtrs with water and power supplied 2 other sites in rear yard area. Powered and water. Plenty of room . Pool strict conditions apply.

Even though it was a last minute booking, Steve was there to welcome us at 9 PM! We were fleeing the bush fires and were so glad we came across Steve’s listing because it was well equipped, clean, and properly maintained. We’re so grateful!!

Easy access close to ferry. Really we’re not there to offer anymore insight. We got in at 8:30 pm and left at 5am.

It’s true what everyone says. Steve and Milo are bloody champions. If you’re an overseas visitor and you want to meet an Australian bloke go and have a yarn with Steve,. Fantastic property, couldn’t ask for any more. Five starts all the way👍👏👏👏👏

Steve was the perfect host and made staying at his place very comfortable. The grounds are lovely and very central to everything. I would highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Steve was very welcoming! We had a fantastic site in his front yard a lot of shade didn’t even need to put the awning out!! Great location close to town and all beaches Would recommend

Nice grassy sites in a good location for nearby attractions. Steve and Milo were very welcoming and great with our 18month old. Had a great stay and have already booked to stay there again.

Location: Out of the action but also close to everything, highly rate Site: As good as any van park, gate closed most of the time Caravan access: As good as any caravan park, entry gates a little tight Facilities: Power provided & water available to fill our tanks, no shower or toilet as stated Host: Steve was good for a chat, nice veggie garden Criticism: Had a pool listed on ad, on arrival the pool was empty & weedy, be good to sort this out or remove from listing. We booked because of a pool in this case so was a bit bummed.

What a lovely little drop in spot for the night - welcomed with a smile from Steve ( owner) and a wag of the tail from Milo his beautiful dog Steve is so friendly and offered extra support with charging our phones and even offered us a lift to a local restaurant- lovely personal touch Thanks Steve

We all loved our stay at Steves place! Relaxingly quiet and private our elderly pooch really loved some space to stretch her legs. Steve and his dog Milo are wonderful hosts, always obliging while sharing some great stories, he is always on for a friendly chat. His place is quiet, clean and well looked after. It was a privilege and a welcome recharge from caravan parks. Thanks Steve and Milo we will definitely look you up again in the future!

Steve is a friendly accomodating host. He even let me leave some gear at his whilst I transferred from one vehicle to another , an absolute life saver! And super dog friendly which is a huge bonus in Geelong area . Limited pet friendly caravan parks available especially in peak season Also provides power and water . The location is awesome for getting around Geelong and to explore the peninsula and Great ocean road. Highly recommend a stay here

We had a one-night stopover here and it was a great spot. Steve was a fantastic host and helped guide us into our site, which we really appreciated. The site had both water and power, and despite being in a suburban area it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. It’s also dog-friendly, which was a big plus — and Steve’s dog Milo is absolutely adorable. A comfortable, easy stay and a great option for an overnight stop. Would happily recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay at Steve’s Hipcamp. From the moment we arrived, Steve made us feel completely at home, he is genuinely one of the best hosts we’ve come across. His dog Milo is an absolute sweetheart and such a highlight of the stay 🐾 The site itself was spacious and peaceful, with plenty of room to relax. The other campers were friendly and respectful — happy to chat if you felt like it, or keep to themselves, which was perfect. We booked this spot last minute after another accommodation cancelled a night on us, and honestly, we wish we had stayed here for the entire trip. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Thanks so much, Steve — keep up the amazing hosting!

There’s a reason why this host gets so many good reviews. Steve was an absolutely fantastic Hipcamp host. The place was awesome, super quiet, and very family-friendly. Steve is incredibly kind and welcoming, and he really took great care of us during our stay. The location is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding areas and the Great Ocean Road. We had a wonderful time and would 100% recommend staying here!

We were a group of 3 vans and one tent , steve was so welcoming and we had lots of space and room for the kids to play , Milo was a hit with the kids , there is a McDonalds and a 7-Eleven just down the road should u need a bathroom , great location and so easy for our trip on the spirit Tasmania

Steve is so lovely and friendly and very accommodating. Our group had 3 cars with caravans and a car with a tent and we all fit with plenty of room along with others staying. Great location woth a short drive to join the Spirit of Tasmania.

Steve was very welcoming with a great site conveniently located to the spirit of Tasmania port in Geelong. Power supply and potable water available making it a great stop over before an early morning ferry.

Steve was an amazing host. We had sone troubles with our van and he went above and beyond to get us back on the road. The site is flat and grassy and gave us good access to the Spirit of Tasmania Thanks again Steve ! Legend

We loved this hipcanp. Steve was the best host, even passing on some fish, which was delicious. We had security and free range area for our dog to play with Milo. Spent 6 lovely days here. Close to everything . Highly recommend. Thanks Steve we will be back. 😀

Steve was so welcoming to our group , we felt right at home , large open area to park 3 Vans and one tent , kids had a large area to play around it and Milo the dog was a huge hit with the kids , a great pit stop for our trip to Tasmania, shops were close and a quick walk to McDonald if you needed a bathroom

Great dog friendly hip camp. Liked the fact that it was fenced and our kelpie could roam around unleashed and play with Milo (the resident chilled border collie). Bonus was the availability of power and water for the caravan. Steve the owner was great and very friendly
