Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

Grace was a fantastic host who made us feel very welcome on her beautiful property.
We were fortunate to have the entire place to ourselves, aside from one couple staying in one of the four cabins on Friday night, set off to the side of the camping area.
There are no designated site numbers, so you’re free to choose any spot within the camping area, which adds to the relaxed feel of the stay.
Highly recommend taking the walk up to the ridge — the views are absolutely spectacular.

A gorgeous place to stop especially in Autumn. The trees were absolutely amazing. The Lady in the office is so lovely and helpful.
People were all very friendly. My only gripe was with Hipcamp.
I was sent a receipt for my booking and stated in NSW and not VIC so I tried to contact them and couldn’t so ended booking with the caravan park again. I rang the caravan park and talked to them in the office and couldn’t not get a refund. So ended up paying for the week twice. We only ended up staying 1 night as the camper van that we hired wasn’t comfortable enough to sleep in and couldn’t get a chalet so ended up in a motel elsewhere. The caravan park couldn’t give us a refund as Hipcamp had my funds and they hadn’t been paid yet.

We had a great time staying at Grace’s place! The location is absolutely beautiful, we loved being amongst the horses and beautiful wildlife, and the hot shower and amenities were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this to other campers.

This was our second visit to Grace's Land, and it absolutely lived up to every wonderful memory we had from our first time. We brought along 10 friends to celebrate my partner's birthday, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better setting to make it special.
The facilities made everything so easy and comfortable — ample bathrooms meant no morning queues, the massive BBQ was perfect for group cooking, the fridge kept everything fresh, and there were plenty of tables and chairs for everyone to spread out and relax. Having fireplace options was the cherry on top for those cosy evening wind-downs.
We had the best time cooking big meals together, gathering around the fire for long chats, playing with adorable Spot the dog, and taking a moment to pat the horses.
The only downside? We had to leave! We were already talking about our next trip on the drive home. If you're looking for a spot that handles a big group with ease while still feeling warm and personal, look no further. We'll absolutely be back — we just wish we could have stayed longer!

Our first ever night in a campervan ! The staff were so welcoming - we had a pitch overlooking the beautiful beach. We added another night on as it was so lovely. Toilets and showers spotless and laundry was good to refresh travel clothes. All in all -fantastic !

Chrissy's place was perfect. Views over the old mining poppet head. Chrissy was very welcoming, with suggestions of what to do and see in area. An added surprise for my wife to cuddle her rabbits.
Highly recommended her place, a short drive to Bendgio.

Tesort was clean including the toilets and bathrooms, I reserved an unpowered campsite and was assigned at a corner space #1. Had to set up tent further as the site was right next to the garbage bins , had to make sure I didnt encroach on the next campsite.

Perfect mix of feeling very private amongst bush camping, while having the convenience of the showers, toilets and water. Kids loved the obstacle course through the bush and being able to have your own fire is great.

Chrissy has a lovely property with walking trails close by and only about 10 minutes to Bendigo CBD.
There is power and water along with a camp shower and toilet. Everything is nice and clean.
We will definitely be back if we find ourselves in that neck of the woods again.
