Lakeside Escape with Space for Caravans, Campers & Tents
Located on the edge of the lake, our gorgeous lake house can accommodate a caravan or motorhome on a designated parking pad. There’s also plenty of room to pitch a tent or swag on flat, grassy areas. A huge deck provides the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The lake house includes a small kitchenette and a separate toilet and shower.
Bring a fishing rod to try your luck catching silver perch, or nets for yabbies — there are plenty!
There’s an abundance of birdlife, including cockatoos, rosellas, king parrots, kookaburras, and tawny frogmouths. Kangaroos and echidnas often pay us a visit, too.
A grassed area with a fire pit is situated a few metres from the lake house, and firewood is available for purchase.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. A grassy dog enclosure is available for guests who wish to explore the area while leaving their pet in a safe space. If you would like to bring your pet, please add the pet fee which is listed as an Extra during the booking process.
A wood-fired pizza oven, located in a separate undercover area, is available for use.
Lovely bushwalks, motorbike, and horse tracks are located close to the property.
World-class surf breaks are within a half-hour drive, with Bells Beach being the most iconic.
Torquay is home to surf shops and eateries — Rip Curl, Billabong, Roxy, and Rojo are all within walking distance of each other. You’ll also find great local breweries such as Four Pines and Bells Beach Brewery.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

Only 5km from Corryong, its location is the perfect quiet camping spot to get away from the crowds in town during the Man From Snowy River Festival. The camping area is located in a beautiful, level paddock behind the hall, with a huge amount of space, scattered gumtrees, and stunning views.
You will have full use of our newly renovated full kitchen, toilets, baby change table, and hot showers. You're also welcome to use our picnic area and fire pit!
Please note, we allow one vehicle per site. If you are two groups traveling together (two caravans, two campers etc) we ask that you please make two separate bookings. Only one 'set up' is permitted per site.

Had a really great time with my mates!
Surrounded by lots of tall trees which looked especially picturesque with the sun shining through the morning mist.
Tap with running water for washing up. Plenty of firewood stored although it was all damp and could only get it lit after drying it.

Beautiful campground with a picturesque view of the rolling hills. Grace is a fantastic host who looks after her guests. The campsite has excellent cooking facilities with a large pergola big enough to fit several groups. Hot showers and toilets are basic but very welcome after a long day exploring the hills and nearby quaint country towns. We visited with our little dog who loved exploring. There are friendly farm dogs who occasionally wander across to say hello. Highly recommend this campsite.

Staying at Victoria's farm was such a special treat. Everything was so well thought out. The kitchenette, and access to a flushing loo and hot shower really made the stay feel like a little luxury. Victoria was so friendly and helpful. My dog Lenny had the absolute best time as well. Already recommended to friends. Will be back again.

Gilwell Park is a fantastic camping destination with beautiful open spaces, peaceful surroundings, and plenty of room to relax and enjoy nature. We loved the quiet atmosphere, abundant wildlife, and scenic views, making it a perfect place to unwind and disconnect from the busy city. The site felt safe, clean, and family-friendly, with excellent facilities and easy access.

My family and I loved Chrissy’s property and the hospitality she showed welcomed us with open arms. Her dogs were a hit with my kids and already asking us if we can return another day. Look no further if you want the tranquility of the country but not so distant from bendigo if you want to switch it up a bit.
