We are conveniently located just off the M1, only a 90-minute drive from Melbourne CDB. We offer the perfect place to escape from the rat race to recharge your batteries. Choose any spot to set up camp, but our favourite is next to the beautiful lake-like dam. Guests are required to be self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. It's only 2km to Trafalgar town centre and 5 KM to Moe. We are pet-friendly, but please ensure your pet does not bother other campers or local wildlife. Contained campfires are permitted but can only be lit in designated fire pits. October through May is typically dry, and you may have to disallow fires during this time for safety reasons. Can't beat the view, isn't that all campers needed? Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. But we can’t guarantee it will always be completely silent during the day or at night- especially if the lambs or calves or foals are being weaned from their mothers! Ear plugs are available for light sleepers if required. And if you are an extremely noise sensitive person or someone who wants a private camping experience with no noise or neighbouring houses visible, this may not be the right spot for you (if this is you, we would recommend looking for a more remote stay on a large acreage which will provide you with a more private experience) * And while on the topic- if partying late into the night with loud music, a thumping base on your sound system and extremely raucous singing and laughter is your thing, then this is not the right camping spot for you. While we are all for socialising and having fun, if you want to party loudly into the wee hours we would suggest finding a camping spot far away from neighbouring properties where the sound doesn’t carry for miles across the land. Lovely safe flat mowed grass area with a central communal shed for shade and some trees. A great place for children. The power was great with extra long leads to borrow so you can take advantage of most areas on the property. Taps for drinking water. Nicely tucked away from the roads and private from the house but very convenient with the shops less than 3 KMs away. So nice to be next to the State park too with a private gate so you can explore the old gold mining area very easily. The shower and toilet were clean and a definite bonus. The many friendly dogs, cats and birds would delight children. A lovely spot. Recommended.

We had an amazing stay! Sally and her wonderful family made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Their property is beautiful and perfect for camping plenty of space, peaceful farm surroundings, and lots of friendly animals. My 9-year-old had an absolute blast spending time near the horses, goats, the sweetest dogs, and spotting native birds. A special mention to Sally’s son, who became the best “local guide” my boy could ask for. He was an incredibly lovely, friendly, and super polite young gentleman "truly a highlight of our stay". We stayed in a powered site close to the farm, which was super convenient, but they also offer unpowered sites that are a bit more private if you prefer a quieter spot. Both options are great. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s a fantastic experience for families and anyone who wants a relaxed and welcoming farm-style camping getaway. We’ll definitely be returning!

Excellent stay. Great location some 15k’s inland from lovely Inverloch. Great views. Easy access to the property and ideal for any 2WD’s. We have a MH and had access to both power and water if required. We didn’t bother. We were met by the engaging host Adrian who kindly showed me around. What a gem of a place. Manicured lawns in a large fully fenced paddock with a new camp kitchen, hot shower and seperate very clean toilet. 4 sites in total. Lovely dam to the rear of the property and walks back on the roadway overlooking the ocean to the distance. Adrian supplied a great fire pit, kindling and wood at a cost of $25 per night. Overall a wonderful stay - well worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

Sites are quite small and crammed in, meaning cars are parked in the road and manoeuvrability is a bit tight. Despite the plots being properly prepared (dug in, lined and covered in astroturf) not all of them were flat, so we moved onto another plot. Facilities were clean and showers hot. Access gate at the back of the plot to the brewery was useful!
