Welcome to Bimbi Park – Camping, Glamping & Wildlife in the Otways Camp, glamp, or stay in a cozy cabin under the stars and koalas at Bimbi Park, nestled in the heart of Otway National Park. Surrounded by Manna gums, native wildlife, and birdsong, it’s a unique, family- and pet-friendly escape. Choose from bush, powered or unpowered sites, cabins, glamping tents, retro vans, or insulated camping pods—accommodation to suit all budgets. Campfires are welcome, and some cabins are pet-friendly too. Facilities include amenities blocks, a camp kitchen, kiosk, BBQs, a book exchange, laundry facilities, potable water, and more. ‘Bimbi’ means ‘birds’ in the Ngunawal language—and you’ll hear plenty of them as you explore this peaceful forest haven along the Great Ocean Road.

No ensuite but close to the amenities. As we are on tank water and not town water our showers in the amenities block take tokens that cost $1 for 3 minutes.

Lovely staff, good camping grounds. I was close to the little baseball court and had children constantly running past. Made it hard to sleep but to be expected at a this kind of camping area, might request to be further away on future visits. Amenities where great and clean

Absolutely loved Bimbi Park, we saw 12+ Koalas over the weekend, many Kookaburras, other beautiful birds, Kangaroos and Wallaby’s! Our fave was a morning walk around the park looking for Koalas. Staff were very kind and helpful, extremely pleasant to communicate with. 10/10 recommend! It was not too busy so had a good amount of privacy, if you want more privacy go for the Bush Camp lots instead. There is a huge group camp section that looked awesome for big groups, and a more kid friendly area closer to the bathrooms etc with a playground and more. Lots of cabins and other options too. Fave were the “Free Range Children” signs, making friends with the goats and chickens/rooster and getting a barista coffee on sat morning :)

Recharge amongst eucalypts at Bimbi

We’re a family of four that spent three nights in a pod. This is such a lovely location close to nature - the absolute highlight was seeing several koalas ( and joeys) up close, a kookaburra and waking up to birdsong amongst majestic eucalypts. A great recharge only 3hr drive from Melbourne. Didn’t get to use all the amenities, just the bathrooms and they were clean and the showers hot.

Awesome campground, great location, good sized spots in unpowered area that offered privacy and shelter from wind. We didn't get to use many of the amazing ammenities but I look forward to going back in warmer weather to make the most of all Bimbi has to offer :)

Bimbi Park is as good as it gets. Big sites, lots of amenities and a cheerful and relaxed staff. They were very helpful with our request to get a camping pod instead of using the site we had picked because the weather was rubbish. It's a good hike down to the Cape Otway light station but very nice path. The Koalas in the trees and friendly Kookaburras made the place feel as "Aussie" as it gets. Highly recommend for families with kids.

Absolutely loved camping at Bimbi park - our site was incredible super private and surrounded by insane trees. The facilities were incredibly clean - had access to kitchen and shelter when it was raining. And so many koala sightings :)))))
