**IMPORTANT NOTE: To avoid disappointment, please take note of the limits on the listing regarding vehicle size, and see the note below regarding caravans** Clear Springs is a very special spot, offering sweeping views over rolling hills, and across to the ocean. King Island lighthouse is visible on clear nights, and there are koalas and wallabies in abundance. Whilst we require you to BYO toilet, we do have hot shower, woodfired hot-tub, power, water and phone reception. The site is all-weather access, and is just a 7-minutes drive to the Apollo Bay township. Once you catch your breath after initially taking in the sweeping, majestic ocean views, you can find a spot to pitch your tent or park your van. You drive in through a locked farm gate into the fenced camp area. There is not an abundance of flat area, so may not suit if you need large level space. We don't accept multiple bookings, so the space is all yours. You can choose from a few different spots with near-level ground (choose grass or gravel). The site is open to the amazing ocean views to the south yet the area is nestled among mature trees to give privacy and shelter. There are very few houses dotted around the area and not a single busy road within earshot. There is 240v mains power (BYO lead and plug into switchboard). And a tank with spring water (natural and untreated, we've been drinking it for years) and a pressure pump (BYO hoses as needed). There is an outdoor gas-heated shower. We also have a woodfired hot tub available for guests, BYO firewood. Our listing is intended for people looking for a private, tranquil and well-serviced camping area with several bonuses such as power, water, telstra reception, and a hot tub (BYO firewood). And no other guests to worry about. It's much more than a patch of grass! But please BYO toilet - this is mandatory - and leave no trace to allow other people to enjoy the beauty of our property. **PLEASE NOTE** - not suitable for medium-large caravans, and if towing, it's essential you are comfortable manouvering in tight spaces. We stayed one night, loved it. Its been raining, a bit of mud in places, but that's just camping in winter 🏕️ Filled and lit the hot tub fire as soon as we arrived, that did the trick, a bag of wood later and it was hot to go ♨️ Private, views, kookaburras, sounds of the ocean, a fire, a hot tub, ah and a trampoline 😅........... A adventurous spot and a great stay 🙏 💯

Beautiful quiet spot with lovely views. My dogs loved being able to sniff and explore the property off leash. The outdoor shower/bath and hot tub were excellent. It did rain throughout my stay and it got quite muddy (expected at this time of year and no fault of the property). Just a friendly reminder to pack extra towels if camping with dogs for those muddy paws.

We absolutely loved the view! We looked through the documents and photos to plan our setup before getting to the site, when we arrived our plans had to change as they started building a tiny home in the only flat area for the tent, and had a spare caravan parked on site. We had to set up away from the undercover area on the side of the hill. We also wanted to use the tub the instructions say 2 hours of heating, it took about an hour to fill up the tub with water and 5 hours of fire and 15kgs of wood, and the water would have gotten to about 15 degrees we had to save the rest of our wood for the fire. Overall the location was amazing but the information needs to be updated and the price really should be reduced now that most of the site is unusable.

We had a perfect two nights at this Fiona's spot. It was ideal for two dogs and little kids, as fenced off and private...with a few sheep passing through at the bottom of the lot. Waking up to a pink and orange sunrise with one of the most wonderful camping views we have ever experienced was so peaceful. We loved the hot shower and wood fired bath. Fiona was very responsive and easy going. We would love to come back.

Fantastic experience, incredible views, so private and quiet. Shower under moonlight and at dawn, hot tub a perfect luxury. Fiona was great to communicate with, she always came back to me immediately. It was our anniversary and I was looking for a romantic getaway and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay. The views from the site were absolutely beautiful and the whole place felt incredibly peaceful and serene. One of the highlights was having a koala in the trees right next to us – such a special experience. We had a bit of rain during our stay, so the covered area and the hot water made a huge difference and meant we could still relax and enjoy ourselves. Overall, a really lovely spot and we’d happily come back again.

Great camp! So lovely having the shower, bath and hot tub. Lovely even on a rainy weekend. Fiona was incredibly responsive to messages and very helpful. Stunning view out to the ocean. Trampoline is a plus!! Bit muddy due to the rain, lucky we had gum boots!

I wouldn't write this review if I was living in Australia as I would want to keep this gem to myself; as we're heading back to the UK here goes... We were in a 7.2m Maui Ultima Mercedes Sprinter LWB 2 berth which got up Wild Dog and Busty Road (both tarmac roads) and onto and off this site without difficulty. The plot is designed for a single group/family and we had the whole site to ourselves. It's a field nestled into rolling hills with an absolutely stunning vista of valleys overlooking the ocean at Apollo Bay (which has a well stocked IGA) There is a deck with bathtub and shower and hot running water (make sure you open the gas bottles to get this to work automatically and close them when you leave) We didn't fill up the hot tub (which runs on firewood you must bring yourselves) The electric hookup requires a 30 m extension lead (we used Fiona's spare lead to piggyback to our lead and it reached us. Fiona responds immediately and was a great host btw) We did try the trampoline which is mounted level to the ground but mostly for sunbathing! There is a large level pitch carved into the gentle slope of this beautiful hillside field/plot just below the decking where we parked up. Two koalas were climbing eating & sleeping in the eucalyptus trees by the decking and the sheep were brave enough to venture up the hill but took off when they saw us. We loved the site and even the day of 'Cornish mizzle' couldn't dampen our spirits. Thank you thank you thank you. Tim & Sally

We loved our stay at Fiona’s land! The view of the ocean and rolling hills was incredible. The hot outdoor shower was soo nice and really appreciated after a hike in the nearby Otways national park. There is an abundance of birdlife as well so don’t forget to take your binoculars 🙂

This was a great site. The outlook is amazing and the wildlife is spectacular. We had a pair or king parrots come say hello and even managed to see a koala. Would highly recommend

The spot was absolutely stunning views over the hills and the ocean. It happened to be quite cool and windy weather when we stayed but we felt really sheltered by the surrounding trees. The hot tub was an absolute bonus....it heated up so well and stayed hot for quite some time. Would love to come back.

Fiona’s place is a beautiful spot. The hot tub was delightful and we were grateful for the shelter from the rain. The shower is open air but the water is definitely hot. Great view and location to relax above Apollo Bay.

What an amazing camp, so handy to Apollo Bay and Lorne. The Otway National park is so close with amazing hikes. The Bathtub is an absolute treat and also the Hot tub. Waking up to the views and all the stars at night. Thanks so much for a great stay.
