The property is bordered by he Murrundini River on one side, 1km, with hill side views on the other. All campsites have easy access the river, and well spaced apart for privacy and peace.
Site One is a large flat area close to the river that is good all year round. It has fencing and gates, perfect to let dogs run free without going too far.
Site 3 (Craig's flat), is a large open campsite, able to take more camper-vans/ tents with plenty of space.
All sites have fire places and gas BBQ's (byo gas bottle) And there are plenty of fish for those that want to try their luck.
All sites and river swimming are clothing optional, but please respect other campers in public area's if on site.
In response to a recent review, I will point out that the driveway is a gravel farm track. Normal 2Wd cars have not had any recent issues.
We have some fantastic views from the hill up and down the Murundindi Valley, especially at sunset. We're located only a few short km's from Wilhelmina Falls and Murundindi Scenic Reserve, you get the best part of the river, without the crowds. We are a
short drive from Melbourne, and easy access to the townships of Yea and Yarra Glen for supplies if you need them.
Amazing, abundant
and rare bird life to enjoy and photograph. (see guests photos). I am hoping to increase the nesting and habitat for as many local birds as possible, which has improved, but can get better with Your help. Not destroying large logs and tree's is first and foremost. But if you are inclined , funds for creating nesting spots are greatly appreciated. You can directly ask for donations to go towards specific prospects/ projects. Tawney frog mouths, king parrots, and many, many other birds call this place home. For donations specific to conservation, please contact me direct.

There are no set sites as such, you may choose your own camping spot in the bush setting.

There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more.
Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience.
Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes.
Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's.
Amplified music is not allowed.
Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields. Pyrenees Wine region is a short drive away.

Just a half an hour drive from Wangaratta, 45 minutes from Benalla and an hour from Mansfield. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away.
Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. Campfires are allowed when restrictions aren’t in place, and firewood and kindling is available for purchase (see Extras).
Please keep in mind that the property is a working farm and there will be cars and machinery onsite nearby to some of the sites. Each powered site has only 1 power supply. Generators can be used but must be used with others in mind.

Our 25 acre Hipcamp area is located safely within our 300 acre property which enjoys approximately 5 kilometres of pristine and private Murray River frontage in the beautiful rural city of Albury. Willowbank is a fourth generation cattle farm and when you arrive at Willowbank you will feel like you are a million miles away from anywhere but you are only 2.8km from the centre of Albury and 2.9km to Wodonga from our sites .
We are less than 5 minutes away from the beautiful South Albury cafe and boutique shopping precinct; Ebden and Olive, Nannina's, Meraki, Platform 9, South Albury Take Away, Di Billet, Almar Organics, Sukor Wellness and Recovery, The Red Devil Brewery, Tucker on Townsend, Chic to Chic and more. We are also only 3.5km from Harris Farm Markets. Albury's public Dump Point at Albury Railway Station is less than 5 minutes away.
Each of our camping sites is well away from each of the others and there is plenty of room at each site for children to play. The three best sites for swimming are The Crossing, The River Bend and The Willows . We encourage the use of life jackets for children in the water at all time.
We have no toilet or shower facilities at any of our sites so you are required to bring your own toilet with you. All waste must be removed at the end of your visit. With notice, we can arrange portaloo hire should you need, please enquire with us prior to booking.
We have no access to drinking water and if you decide to use river water for drinking we do recommend that you boil the water.
Swimming, floating, paddling in the Murray River is a sublime pastime. Please be aware though, that the Murray River has a very fast and strong current. Looking to hire a canoe, we recommend you contact Dave/ Murray River Canoe Hire (0417 691 339) for a canoe to paddle around your campsite or to do a beautiful canoe trip on the Murray River from Doctor's Point to Noreuil Park. It will take a few hours and yes you will go past your camp site!

Enjoy one of the best sandbars on the Murray in the area. A great spot for all water activities. including swimming, boating and fishing. Ideal gentle swimming beach for kids. This is a very serene and quiet part of the Murray River.
Guests can go bushwalking through the towering River Redgums and enjoy the natural environment.
Campfires are permitted outside of any restrictions, there is plenty of fallen timber around that guests can use.

Located on the edge of the lake, our gorgeous lake house can accommodate a caravan or motorhome on a designated parking pad. There’s also plenty of room to pitch a tent or swag on flat, grassy areas. A huge deck provides the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun. The lake house includes a small kitchenette and a separate toilet and shower.
Bring a fishing rod to try your luck catching silver perch, or nets for yabbies — there are plenty!
There’s an abundance of birdlife, including cockatoos, rosellas, king parrots, kookaburras, and tawny frogmouths. Kangaroos and echidnas often pay us a visit, too.
A grassed area with a fire pit is situated a few metres from the lake house, and firewood is available for purchase.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. A grassy dog enclosure is available for guests who wish to explore the area while leaving their pet in a safe space. If you would like to bring your pet, please add the pet fee which is listed as an Extra during the booking process.
A wood-fired pizza oven, located in a separate undercover area, is available for use.
Lovely bushwalks, motorbike, and horse tracks are located close to the property.
World-class surf breaks are within a half-hour drive, with Bells Beach being the most iconic.
Torquay is home to surf shops and eateries — Rip Curl, Billabong, Roxy, and Rojo are all within walking distance of each other. You’ll also find great local breweries such as Four Pines and Bells Beach Brewery.
Torquay and Anglesea both have vibrant arts scenes — the Ashmore Arts hub is located in Torquay, and Anglesea is home to the Arts Shed. The Eagles Nest Gallery in Aireys Inlet also hosts exhibitions by local artists.
Markets are held regularly on the foreshore in Torquay and Anglesea, and there’s a weekly Farmers Market in Torquay.

Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks.
We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies.
Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible.
Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by.
Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Hazelnut Valley is a working Hazelnut Farm located along the Tyres River. We are an easy 2-hour drive from CBD Melbourne, so we are a great location for either short or long stays.
Christmas Holiday Bookings
Christmas and Boxing Days are available on request only, we will not be accepting any booking for arrival on Christmas or Boxing Days, so that we can have quality family time.
Any guest who would like to book a site to arrive before Christmas Day and depart after Boxing Day please message us via Hip Camp and we can make the site available for your booking.
Guests MUST be fully self-contained and bring their own camping toilet. (No holes in the ground) you will need to have a suitable camp toilet where you are able to take your waste with you on departure.
There is a Dump Point available in Rawson.
Site Toilets can be hired thru Moe Hire (03 5127 7114), they will deliver & pick up from your site.
A fire pit is provided free for the duration of your stay to each camp group.

Weather permitting, is Hay Season, large tractors may be on site cutting and rolling bales of hay.

Is Harvest Time for our Hazelnut Groves.
If you book a stay during these times, there may be a lot of activities and sounds between 10am & 6pm each day.

Welcome to Nanadhong Views.
Nanadhong is the local indigenous name for the Cathedral Range. We are located on the western slope of the Cathedral with beautiful views to its peak as well as across the Acheron valley to the Black Range and South to Dom Dom and the Black Spur. This property was previously a home site but was burned out in the 2009 fires. Now being returned to nature and available for camping only. Two dams and a seasonal creek attract birds and local wildlife. A total of 30 acres is available for exploring and enjoying the views.
This private location has a single site with power and water, suitable for two vans or several camper trailers, a flushing toilet and further grassed areas suitable for tents and camper trailers. A camp shelter currently under construction will provide somewhere out of the weather with lighting, water and power available.
The property is located 30 minutes from Lake mountain where you can ski during winter or hike and mountain bike during summer. Lake Eildon is also 30 minutes away and a great venue for fishing, swimming and boating. The Acheron, Rubicon and Goulburn rivers are close by and suitable for fishing and kayaking. Mountain bike riders can also try the tracks at Buxton or Eildon. There are many hiking/walking options including the historical Rubicon Valley just 20 minutes away. If you are into 4wd’ing or trail bikes there are many tracks in the Black Range across the road or the Big River area.

Love it! This place is great. Sharelle and Michael are very friendly and helpful. My van is bit heavy and stud in mud(after a raining night and very wet on arass. hence | parked at a sliaht slot make it harder to get out). Shower and toilet are handy for pople need to use, around 100m from camp but don’t complaint as this it part of the joys.
Feeding highland cows and pony are such a bonus! Kids love it. Please respect the land and owner, keep it tidy and clean so next camper could enjoy the same fun!

Beautiful property. All the little details made this a 5 star hipcamp. The hammocks, fairy lights, firepits, benches, kids swings and games, immaculate toilet, outdoor shower. Very impressive. Sites are flat and have amazing views. Very peaceful and sharelle was a welcoming friendly host. The highland cows are adorable and the kids loved feeding them and the chickens and pony and getting cuddles from the baby chick's.

Such a beautiful spot right on the Murray River surrounded by gorgeous, gentle cattle. Private location with some highway noise but it did not bother us at all. Vicki & Byron were both incredibly helpful and responsive in messaging us. Great designated fire pit areas too.

We had a fantastic stay at Galea Ranch! It's in the perfect location for exploring Marysville, the Cathedral Ranges, and the many beautiful waterfalls, which were flowing spectacularly after the heavy rain earlier in the week.
The property was immaculate and clearly designed with campers in mind. There were great fire pits, fun play areas for the kids, and our children absolutely loved feeding the Highland cows and the other friendly animals.
Sharelle was wonderful to deal with, making the booking process easy and communicating clearly throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning to explore more of the area

A beautiful place to camp. Thank you for generously offering your farm as a Hipcamp, we were so grateful to have camped there. The bushland teaming with kookaburras, the river running made for a soothing soundtrack for the weekend. Bernie was a great host, thanks for having us Bernie and Lisa.

We stayed with our friends at the Far End site, a lovely private spot at the end of the track next to Mt Buffalo River which was certainly flowing! Plenty of freshly dug wombat holes around with lots of smells to keep our dog Simba busy. Nice clean toilet which was a bonus. Patrick met us on arrival to give us the run down which was much appreciated. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend 👌

It’s a fantastic location with plenty of open space, walking trails, and the river right nearby — perfect for relaxing, exploring, fishing, and enjoying nature. The fenced areas are great for pets, giving them plenty of room to run and enjoy themselves safely. We loved the peaceful surroundings & beautiful scenery. It’s an easy drive from Melbourne and would highly recommend this spot for both experienced campers and first-time campers looking for a relaxing getaway.

Ease of communication via app, from greeting us at arrival to showing us to our campsite & prompt attention when had power troubles from Daemon & Sara is highly commendable. Gorgeous site close to the river, a short walk to the clean toilets & shower. The hot water was good,
Marley made itself at home too, the children enjoyed playing with the dog. Ample space to run around and not too close to the river for their safety too. First camp for half the group, though it might have been crazy to kickstart with winter camp, with hot fireplace, electric blankets & hot water, it was a very memorable camp for us all. Thanks again for hosting us at your lovely farm, Daemon & Sara😊

We had the most amazing 2-night winter camping experience here. If you're looking for peace, nature, and a place to truly unwind, this campsite is perfect.
Waking up to the gentle sounds of the flowing river, birds singing in the background, and the rustling leaves was incredibly relaxing. The riverside setting is absolutely beautiful and serene, making it the ideal escape from the busy city.
Despite camping in winter, the facilities made our stay so comfortable. The warm showers were such a treat after a chilly day outdoors, and the toilets were spotless, well-maintained, and surprisingly comfortable.
What made our stay even more special was the owner's genuine hospitality. Michael took the time to check in on us to make sure we were doing well and asked if there was anything we needed. That personal touch made us feel truly welcome. As a lovely bonus, he even shared fresh lemons from his own trees with us!
It's rare to find a campsite that combines beautiful natural surroundings, excellent facilities, and such warm hospitality. Plus it is also close to the town proper where you can just walk or have a quick drive to buy additional necessities. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our next visit.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful camping getaway. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! 🌿🏕️💙
