150 acres of river flats with beautiful big gums, lagoons and 1km length of ovens river frontage. A beautiful grassy, shaded area with stunning views, privacy and seclusion. The site has a lovely sweeping bend that has water that's suitable for families to swim in with some shallow water for littlies to paddle in. There is also some lovely sand for the kids to play in. Locally you are in the middle of the two famous valleys which offer some amazing gourmet experiences. You are within minutes from the King valley or the ovens Valley. And 50mins from Bright with all the beautiful towns and attractions on the way. You're spoilt for choice in this location for wineries, restaurants, berry farms. Famous town of Beechworth is only 30mins. Ideal location if you feel like leaving the magic camp ground that will provide you with a real sense of peace and relaxation with not a building in sight. Please get in touch if you have any questions regarding the camping sites or bookings.

Willowood is a beautiful camping spot. It is exactly as described, with access to the site simple. The land is a good size for groups, and the river is very accessible. We will be back :-)

Sally'a wonderful land made for a memorable experience for my family's short camp trip. It was easy to navigate to and the campsite are distinctively marked, all on flat green surfaces, with choice of under the trees or open sky for easy set up. It is far enough from the other campsite where you can see them, but can't hear them. We bought along 2 yapper dogs, but the land was big enough that they paid no attention to the other campers nearby and were preoccupied with their own leisure. The land was big enough they can go exploring to their hearts content. The cows are a lovely sight and are very accommodating hosts, whom graze nearby and occasionally come up to the river for a soak. In the morning they were brave enough to come and have a peek on our campsite and sniffed around our tables, but were well mannered enough not to make a mess. Campsite 3 sits along the middle of the river where it connects downwards along the stream allowing for a fun kayaking/fishing experience, it is also closest towards the entrance/road, but it is far enough away that you won't hear the road if you're not looking for it. By night time, all you can hear is the flowing of the stream and kookaburras. Thank you Sally and her family for opening up this land for us. We would highly recommend for a peaceful camping experience.

Campsite 2 at Willowood was so beautiful! Such a great site with a large flat space, shade, large fire pit and river access. We had two campers/caravans and there was plenty of space. Even with campers at sites 1 & 3 it felt very private. It was lovely waking up with cows around the site too! Sally has been very responsive and helpful! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back :-)

Nice quiet spot by a lovely river, firewood supplied but ran a bit low, only there for two nights so didn’t get a chance to meet our hosts. Would definitely go back if I have the chance

Beautiful spot by the Ovens river, nice for a swim. Another friendly couple camped nearby and an another small family, no big groups on our midweek visit so was very peaceful. Morning visits from the cows and their inquisitive and cheeky calves, they are not shy. Great spot for us and our two dogs. Shade plentiful and fire pits to use. We had a great time, Thank you Sally

Spent 6 glorious days at Willowood & what a joy it was. The sounds of nature, so blissful. Greeted by some beautiful friendly/curious cows of a morning..gave us a laugh. Site 2 was simply picture perfect. Fairly flat grassed ground, with plenty of shade. Just be aware of falling tree limbs..witnessed 2 falling (fairly decent size) so please be mindful of where you set up. River was beautiful & flowing. Sally was a pleasure to deal with & we honestly thank her for sharing her piece of paradise with us all. Highly recommend & we'll definitely be back.
