Nestled in the valley of a thousand hills, Strath Creek Station is your ideal quick getaway, being only a 1 1/2-hour drive from Melbourne CBD. Situated on 90 acres with direct access to the King Parrot Creek, we are dog-friendly and have a large secure dog park for your pooch to exercise and play, but dogs must be on lead in camping areas. Sites are large and dispersed and can have up to 12 people, tents, camper trailers, caravans and RV suitable. 2wd vehicle accessible (weather dependent). So if you have a large group make one booking for 12 people. There is a large flat camping area that can accommodate any size self contained caravan, RV, including fifth wheelers or horse goosenecks. A large rustic rotunda with BBQs is available for those lazy afternoons spent relaxing by the creek. You are welcome to contact us to discuss your needs or ask any questions.Bring your self contained camping vehicle (with greywater tanks if you can’t contain grey water please ask us for a grey water collection container we are happy to help you out ) and camp with security and peace of mind for yourself and your pooch. We have a large fully fenced off lead dog play area where you can let your pet run around & chase the ball & also with seating to watch them play . Enjoy easy access to the King Parrot Creek and take advantage of shelter in the large rustic rotunda with a BBQ and firebox. Strictly NO chemical or soaps to be used in or around the creek for example washing dishes, people bathing in the creek with soap. Our priority is to preserve our beautiful water ways and surrounding areas. If you wish to book a larger groups just book out the sites per head until full then book the next site & do the same , that way we will move the camp sites so you are all together. There's plenty of room for the kids to run and play, along with a large, secure off-lead dog park. Explore the region with hiking, bike trails, and wetlands. We also now have available local organic produce fruit ,nuts ,berry's, jams, just over the road & they make beautiful honey, free range eggs and kimmys beautiful home made bread. just preorder what you like and we can have it here ready on your arrival

Absolutely perfect spot camping on strath creek station. Beautifully quiet for the kids to run around, Glen was very helpful with wood, the fresh bread made by Kim was delicious and very fresh. There were lots of wasps around and Glen was very quick to bring a trap down, which helped a lot. Time of the year for them. Will definitely return as its so close to home but feels a million miles away

This was our 2nd time camping at Strath Creek Station and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Glen and Kim are the perfect hosts and the time they put into maintaining their property certainly shows. We love staying here and will definately be back for a 3rd time. Also the bread is absolutely beautiful and is a must if you stay here.

3 generations of our family and a dog gathered at Strath Creek Farmstay this long weekend- and we spent time with extended family during the weekend nearby . So it was a very happy time for us, and the bush environment was a lovely factor in that enjoyment. We would probably choose a less busy spot on the site in future for a really quiet stay, but being close to the best spot for swimming in the King Parrot Creek was a real advantage of site no 1. We and our dog who loves water , really appreciated the creek for its beauty, the fact that being spring- fed, it’s a running stream even in this dry period, and the birds that are part of the environment because of water nearby. Glen and Kim looked after us well and kept noise to a minimum. We loved going to the Strath Creek ‘General’- the superb cafe a few K’s down the road, and altogether it’s a a great success.

Great site. Glen was super helpful and communicative. The cool creek was a perfect spot to relax on the hot weekend. Toilets are the cleanest I’ve ever been to. Thanks for having us.

Glen and Kims property is amazing. We absolutly loved our weekend stay, very peaceful and relaxing. The kindness of Glen was wonderful as we had a little issue with our caravan and he went out of his way to help us. We appreciated his care. Kims sourdough bread was also very delicious, it was a nice and yummy treat. Our son loved to explore the comunal area, lots to look at. The wildlife was awsome to see at night too! Highly reccomend, we hope to bring family back because we loved it so much!
