This was our second trip to Strath Creek Station and it definitely wonât be our last!
We absolutely LOVE Glen and Kimâs property. They are wonderful hosts and generous with their time and facilities. Itâs clear a lot of time, effort, thought and care has gone into creating and maintaining the place. The setting is beautiful â right on the riverbank, surrounded by bush and wildlife. We even had a visit from Wally the wombat!
The sites are spacious and well separated, giving good privacy, and the onsite portaloos at virtually every site are convenient and spotlessly clean. The communal rotunda is lovely, with big comfy chairs, bar stools, barrel tables, kidsâ games, BBQs and a huge fireplace â complete with roll-down blinds for cooler weather.
Itâs also wonderful to be able to camp with your dogs â plenty of room for them to explore, safe river access, and they clearly enjoy the bush as much as we do.
The river level was high on this trip, so the âdry creek bedâ wasnât so dry and there were no yabbies this time. Our son did however, catch and release multiple Brown Trout and Macquarie Perch right outside our camp, plus a Spiny Cray or two.
Kimâs homemade sourdough is a must-try (order ahead). Itâs perfect toasted over the fire for breakfast but donât forget your bread knife!
We highly recommend Kim and Glennâs property for a relaxing, family and dog-friendly stay.

Glen and Kim have an amazing property, surrounding by beautiful rolling hills. Hosts were very attentive, and provided a perfect setting for a nice relaxing w.e away with friends!!! Would definitely recommend, and will be back. Best part is, it is only an hour up the road lol!

Exceptional stay! Glen & Kimâs property is absolutely beautiful with lots of hidden corners.
The site was very private. The camp fire and port-a-loo were great additions. We loved the horses on the paddock behind our property.
There was a lovely farm shop across the road where we were able to buy eggs, jam, fruit and ice cream. Kimâs home baked bread was a highlight.
We will be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Strath Creek Station! The host Kim and Glen was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond, Glen checking in on us twice to make sure we had everything we needed. They even lent us a hammer and helped us set up our tent, which was a huge help. The campsite itself is massive, very quiet, and offers plenty of privacy. Plus, being able to see the horses from the site was a wonderful bonus. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

I had such a perfect stay at Strath Creek. It was everything I hoped it would be. The facilities were well-maintained with great attention to detail, and the communication was excellent. At camp 4, I feel like I got to share a quiet slice of paradise with my dog. I look forward to going back!

We had great stay at Strath Creek Station. A beautiful well maintained property with heaps of room between each site. Kim and Glen were fantastic hosts and Kimâs homemade bread was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Lots of small birds in the trees along the creek. Plenty of space around our site for a few tents and a caravan with lots of trees but also options to sit in the sun or put out solar panels and was somewhat sheltered from the strong wind. Also several large rain moths visited our light at night. Made for a very pleasant family camp.

We had an amazing stay at Glen and Kimâs site. Although it was only for 1 night, we were greeted by accommodating hosts, spacious spot for our tent, also thoroughly enjoyed the view and the open fields. Everything including the toilet was so organised and clean. Weâd love to visit again in the future! Thank you Glen and Kim!

This is a fantastic Hipcamp. The property is magnificent, and well maintained, and is a credit to the hosts. Glen and Kim where super friendly and great to deal with, and checked in daily to make sure everthing was ok. There were 11 of us, including my grand kids, aged 2,5,7. We all had a great time. We were set up in 1 caravan, 2 fold out camper trailers and a tent, and had plenty of room. The kids loved playing in the river right next to our site. Lots to see and do for the kids . All in all a terrific place to spend an Easter weekend.

Lovely spot but a cute little river. Beautiful scenery and wonderful hosts. No washing up facilities which makes things a little harder and toilets are a little old. Otherwise great value for money.
