Our farm is only a minutes' drive from the township of Kinglake. Or a 20-minute easy walk to shops and cafes. We are close to all the Yarra Valley and Kinglake Ranges have to offer from wineries to the National Parks for hiking, biking and 4WD driving. The farm is a small, hobby, flower farm. Opening during Protea season for pick your own flowers and sheep feeding. Made up of 15 acres of working land and 35 acres of bush land. We have a 2-acre orchard with seasonal fruit available to be picked. (March) The farm has over 100 king protea bushes and many other varieties of protea. Seasonal pick your own flowers too. (mid Aug - early Jan) Backing onto the national park and walking tracks. Jehoshaphat Gully, Shelley Harris Track, Mt Jerusalem Track. Walking distance to Kinglake historic walk, Cookson Hill Track, Mt Everard Track, Bollygum Park. Visit Mason Falls Waterfall, 12-minute drive to Kinglake West. We have 2 dogs, 2 goats, 5 pet sheep and seasonal lambs, 2 blue tongue lizards The farming area is completely fenced in, this is to keep the deer out, but you can venture out onto the property bush land with the correct map and navigation equipment. Or walk the neighboring farm (105 acres) Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Small playground with swings, slide, monkey bars and sandpit. The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm - Except January The St. Andrews market is every Saturday, 9am to 1pm just 12 minutes down the mountain. Whittlesea market is on every Monday 9am - 1pm We manage 2 sites on our farm and 2 sites on the neighboring farm

Pitch a tent or bring the camper. This site is perfect for singles, couples and small families. Come stay on our hobby flower farm, nestled in amongst the king proteas. Feed the sheep, listening to the sounds of birds and gaze at the stars. Just a 20 minute walk to Kinglake township. The main house is just a minutes' walk but lots of privacy from the host. Animals are welcome but must be on a lead when close to the main house. The water tanks are up near the front shed. Eco toilet available for those that don’t have a toilet, this is up near the main shed. Axe and chopping block on site. Chainsaws are welcome. Small play ground for the little ones, swings, tractor tyre - sand pit. Sheep feeding all year Flower and fruit picking seasonal King protea season - Late august- Late Feb Blackberries - Dec to March Apples, pears, peaches- February-March 4WD - ARE A MUST DURING WET WEATHER no mud but extremely soft and slippery ground when wet.

4WD IS A MUST DURING WET WEATHER. Pitch a tent or bring the van, stay on our hobby flower farm. Nestled in amongst the king proteas. Just a 20-minute walk to Kinglake township. The main house is just a few minutes walk but lots of privacy from the host. Animals are welcome but must be on a lead when close to the main house. Bring water bottles to top up as the main water tanks are up near the front gate. Eco toilet available for those that don’t have a toilet, this is up near the main house. Or portable camp toilet and tent available to hire. No firewood on site anymore. Axe and chopping block on site. Chainsaws are welcome. Small playground for the little ones, tractor Tyre - sand pit. Sheep feeding all year. Flower and fruit picking seasonal. King protea season - Late august- Late Feb Blackberries - Dec to March Apples, pears, peaches- February-March 4WD are a must during wet weather.

What You’ll Love: Farm Activities – Year-round sheep feeding, seasonal fruit and flower picking. Family Friendly – Small playground with swings and a tractor tyre sandpit for the little ones. Campfire cook up - Cook your favourite on the campfire. Small gas camp cooker available as well. (stove in caravan not in use) Campfire Friendly – Fire pit, Firewood chopping block and axe provided (chainsaws welcome). Wildlife and Tranquility – A peaceful base with the main house just next door, yet plenty of privacy. Great location, quiet and serene. 20 minutes walk into town for Friday pizza night and karaoke! Gorgeous friendly goats who loved a head rub. We camped here in February - I recommend bringing some kind of gazebo or marquee to give a bit of shade, as big shady trees are unfortunately not nearby the sites.

We had a pleasant stay at Mountain Flower Farm, right next to Kinglake, about an hour from Melbourne, and dog-friendly. The property had a peaceful vibe with an immersive morning mist, which was a lovely experience. The price maaaaybe a bit steep given the fire pit being offline (fire ban), and the property being a bit scrappy in places. The number of horse flies was a bit of a surprise too! As experienced hosts ourselves, we see it as a budget-friendly option with room for improvement, a very viable option if needing access to Melbourne or Kinglake.

We had a lovely stay at Tamara's place. It's a large site with basic amenities available. We had the space and privacy to relax, and my kids really enjoyed their experience with the amusing goats and the unique flowers.

It was really nice place. The spring was great and the kids loved swimming and floating around in it. The goats were pretty cool too. Communications with the host were really good as well.

It was a very nice, quiet place and still close to town, which made it very convenient. The host was lovely and took the time to show us around the property and make us feel welcome. She let the children feed the sheep, which they absolutely loved and talked about the whole trip. Being able to have a fire in the evening was a great bonus and made the stay feel even more relaxing and enjoyable. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to families.

This was our first campervan stay, and we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortable everything was. Feeding the sheep was a lovely bonus for our family. The night sky was full of stars, and the complete silence made it a very special experience.

A group of us stayed at the Cozy Pozy Caravan and Site 2 of Tamara's farm for 3 nights over the new year. We had a great time and Tamara was a fantastic host! Site 2 has a bit of a slope, but there were enough flat areas to comfortably set up 2 tents, a gazebo, and a campervan (with levelling ramps). The camping area is open, but surrounded by beautiful trees with heaps of birdlife. Also friendly goats and sheep that were super cute! Would recommend staying here, and hope to come back!

We enjoyed Tamara’s camping spot. She was very friendly and accommodating. There’s a clean toilet and fresh drinking water. There were also friendly sheep and goats fenced off on the property that you could go and visit. I would recommend this place to others wanting an outdoor weekend getaway just outside Melbourne.

Tamara's hospitality and van both were amazing. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our trip as it was too hot when we were there and due to it being holiday season majority of the places were closed. But Kinglake is pretty and the Tamara's place is pretty. Our son had a great time with Goats and Sheep. It is great for couples but maybe a bit challenging with small kids.

Great cozy little spot for us fair weather campers. It was a perfect spot for my two city kids, 3 & 9 yrs old. A simplistic night away. All cooking utilities supplied. Just take your bedding. Easy! The kids loved feeding the goats and lighting the small camp fire. Literally a 2 minute drive to Kinglake servo for some basic supplies.

Very quiet nestled on the edge of the Forrest, wake up to kangaroos feeding in the paddock. Would not recommend towing a caravan on the Heidelberg kinglake red as it was steep and narrow. Host Tamara very friendly and made it very pleasant.

Ideal place to test out that new caravan. Quiet and peaceful with plenty of room to choose the position of your van. Even though the temperature was hot by day we had cooling breezes at night.

My partner and I only stayed one night in our swag but had such a lovely time. It was great meeting the family and all the critters that call this island in the trees home. The property is easy to find and is in a great location to explore the surrounds. The two large sites spaced amongst the flowers were tidy and easy to access. Large fire pits great for a group to camp around in the cooler months. The proteas were out in all their glory and the ones we chose to take home made it all the way back to QLD and are still looking stunning weeks later! Thank you very much Tamara and family for a great night away 😊🌱

We had a wonderful time at the Farm. The space was great, and the kids loved running around and also feeding the animals. Tamara was a lovely host, dropped off our pre-ordered bottle of local gin and some animal food, and made sure we had everything we needed! Excellent location.... secluded with beautiful views, yet walking distance from the shops/pub and only an hour from Melbourne. Will stay here again!
