The property consists of 5 acres with a river, so you can set up a tent right next to the river and fish for dinner. The house is about 100 meters away from the camping area, but there are about 1000 Oregon trees that are 50 years old, so you can't see each other well, so you can enjoy nature freely. 4WD is recommended for easy access. We recommend tents/swags. 4WD with Heavy trailer is still very hard to enter when it is wet. Guests will have access to a toilet throughout their stay. There is a communal fire pit available, so guests can enjoy a campfire on the cool evenings. Please abide by any local fire restrictions during your stay. You can walk from my house to Noojee Heritage Centre, Trestle Bridge, Alpine Trout Farm, and Noojee Hotel for a delicious pizza, Cool beer from tool sheed and coffee from red duck cafe. You can drive to Toorongo Falls, Ada Tree in 10 minutes and Baw Baw Ski Resort in 40 minutes.

Fire restrictions in place during your stay must be observed. Firewood is available for purchase from a neighbour, located opposite the entrance to Summerhill Road. 4wd accessible during the wetter months and 2wd during the drier months. You are welcome to bring your dog, just please note that the area is unfenced. We have a mob of kangaroos that visit and cattle and horses reside here also. We ask that our guests display responsible pet ownership at all times. Summerhill Vineyard is located in the Upper Yarra region of the Yarra Valley. We are a 5-minute drive from Yarra Junction township, with supermarkets, butchers and a small shopping precinct. The picturesque township of Warburton is just over 7kms away. Restaurants, cafes, and wineries are all a short drive from here. Yarra Ranges National Park is also on our door step. We are a 1hr 15mins drive from Melbourne, though Summerhill Vineyard will have you feeling a world away. The Yarra Valley offers quality local food and wine, breathtaking scenery, walks, cycling tracks, and tourist destinations like Healesville Sanctuary, Lotus Water Gardens, Warburton Rail Trail and much more. Or.....you can chill out and just enjoy the serenity and views from your campsite. My family live on the property, close to 1/2km from the campsite, far enough away for your complete privacy, or close enough if you need us! Our empty and unused dairy has space available out the front for up to 3, fully self contained vans (no tents) Located on the edge of the picturesque town of Buln Buln postcode 3821 (not Moe) take in views of rolling green hills and heritage listed oak trees while the gentle cattle and sheep graze nearby paddocks. We have access to power and river water on all three sites (not suitable for drinking) but no toilet so your vehicle must be fully self contained. One site is a drive through concrete slab, the other two are grassed sites. The grassed sites are next to each other and the slab site is on the opposite site of the driveway. There is a free public dump point available at Neerim South (a 10 minute drive north) 10 minutes drive to the larger township of Warragul. Firewood and eggs from our happy free range hens can be provided for an additional fee. Please only use the provided fire pits and no fires are allowed on total fire ban days. There is no access to the main house or paddocks unless accompanied by the property host. There is some traffic noise during the day but the nights are peaceful. Dogs are welcome but please ensure that they remain on leads at all times. Each site is limited to one vehicle and van or single campervan. Should you have a larger group and want to bring additional vehicles please book an additional site. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us.

Hobby farm with cattle, chickens and horses. Situated in the middle of the Bunyip State Park completely surrounded by tranquil native bush and wild life. Close to Gembrook and Puffing Billy just a 15 minute drive as is Gumbuya World, Cannibal Creek Winery. Also for the adventurists we have some great bush walking tracks through the State Park with tracks leading to the Four Brothers rock formation and Mount Cannibal. We are on the fringe of West Gippsland with plenty to see and do! We have several types of stay from powered caravan sites to bush camping, un powered site for vans or RVs overlooking the Dam. We have an out door shower for the van sites but no toilet facilities. This is for self contained campers.

Our empty and unused dairy has space available out the front for up to 3, fully self contained vans (no tents) Located on the edge of the picturesque town of Buln Buln postcode 3821 (not Moe) take in views of rolling green hills and heritage listed oak trees while the gentle cattle and sheep graze nearby paddocks. We have access to power and river water on all three sites (not suitable for drinking) but no toilet so your vehicle must be fully self contained. One site is a drive through concrete slab, the other two are grassed sites. The grassed sites are next to each other and the slab site is on the opposite site of the driveway. There is a free public dump point available at Neerim South (a 10 minute drive north) 10 minutes drive to the larger township of Warragul. Firewood and eggs from our happy free range hens can be provided for an additional fee. Please only use the provided fire pits and no fires are allowed on total fire ban days. There is no access to the main house or paddocks unless accompanied by the property host. There is some traffic noise during the day but the nights are peaceful. Dogs are welcome but please ensure that they remain on leads at all times. Each site is limited to one vehicle and van or single campervan. Should you have a larger group and want to bring additional vehicles please book an additional site. We hope that you enjoy your stay with us.

We had such a relaxing stay here. The campsite is peaceful with a beautiful view of the river and surrounding nature. It was also really nice to properly disconnect from our phones for the weekend. Kim was incredibly welcoming. She even surprised us with fresh Korean pancakes while we were setting up (it was 10/10 so delicious). We visited on a rainy weekend and our AWD SUV had no issues getting in or out of the campsite. Kim’s pets were the absolute highlight and truly made the trip memorable. We adored them and would 100% come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway with a genuinely kind host.

Rob has an amazing property surrounded by natural bushland. Making it feel remote whilst still only being 10km's from the freeway. The infrastructure already available at Creek Camp was so thoughtfully laid out such as the lighting in the trees, the deck overhanging the forest, festoons draped beautifully and the outdoor cover of the wonder little shed. Rob and family were a delight to meet and be around, very thoughtful offerings and care managing the land and that your group will have the best time possible.

A beautiful and peaceful spot. Susan was a fantastic host, thoughtful, kind and responsive. I was even gifted some homemade chilli jam and eggs. I spent 2 nights here just cooking on the fire, watching the wildlife by the pond including a wide variety of bird life and a fox. The set up has everything you need- camp toilet, mud kitchen, table and chairs and even a hut to have shelter in the rain. Plenty of fallen kindling to be collected if needed. Will return to explore some of the walking tracks. So nice to be able to have a solo getaway and not have to share the campsite with anyone, but feel totally safe. Just a short drive into town. Highly recommend.

First awake at camp is a special time. Day breaks with the chorus of waterhen, Wonga Pigeon and kookaburra, backed by pobblebonk and the odd snuffling of the cows. Alone? Not with this crowd 🤩.

About

Whether you’re road-tripping along the Black Spur Drive or Lady Talbot Drive, cycling through the Redwood Forest, or hiking to natural waterfalls—glorious views are guaranteed in the Yarra Ranges National Park. Stop off to admire Victoria’s tallest Mountain Ash trees, spot lyrebirds and king parrots in the rainforest, or picnic amid blooming wildflowers. Adrenaline junkies are well-catered for, too. Go rock climbing and hand gliding at Ben Cairn, mountain biking around Lake Mountain, or cross-country skiing on the slopes of Mount Donna Buang. There are no campgrounds in the park, but campers will find plenty of options in the surrounding villages.

When to go

Four seasons of outdoor adventures await in the Yarra Ranges. In spring and summer, wildflowers brighten up the hillsides, especially around Lake Mountain and the Redwoods, while autumn brings fall foliage views and harvest time in the neighbouring Yarra Valley vineyards. Snowfall is common in winter, so swap your hiking boots for skis or go tobogganing and head to Mount Donna Buang—Melbourne’s closest winter sports destination.

Know before you go

  • The Yarra Ranges National Park is about a 2-hour drive from Melbourne. There are two main entrance points to the park—Healesville at the northwest corner of the park and Warburton to the south. Both villages have gas stations, shops, and cafés, and can be reached by public transport from Melbourne. Free parking is also available throughout the park. 
  • There is no admission fee to enter Yarra Ranges National Park, and facilities include visitor centers, toilets, picnic areas, and BBQs. 
  • There are accessible toilets, picnic areas, and trails at the national park.
