Host very easy to deal with.
Neighbours house is quite close but didn’t have any dramas.

In dry weather (late April 26) a Toyota Echo would be fine here. We came in a 2wd SUV for tent & car camping-no issues at all. Flat round pad at least 12x12m usable space. Classic washing machine tub firepit in middle & although neighbours surround, midweek was like there was no one around at all. No reception & starlink patchy so bring games, books, company etc. heaps of ground kindling. King parrot's visited us in the morning & the creek via a short steep walk is where that higher $$$ is going. Too cold for swimming but we took chairs, table, drinks down and our kindles for a few hours while being serenaded by the Armstrong creek & Birdsong. 1 night is affordable for solitude & urroundings

We had an Easter camp at Riverside, with a terrific flat section to camp on (swags)
Kids had fun with the stream, and other various activities the area had to offer.
Phil is an awesome host, and navigating check-in and check-out was super simple.
We will see you again very soon!

my family and i stayed here for one night and we loved it, its peaceful, quiet and beautiful place. if you're looking for that type of vibe away from the city. i would definitely recommend this place.

Great time at Riverside! Overall a nice spot with an excellent private creek access. Beautiful pebbly bottom only ankle to knee deep so perfect for the kiddos to explore around the clear water A bit tricky to maneuver a 16ft caravan into, but doable with some caution (reverse in is the key). There are a lot of sheds on the property and one with quite a bit of graffiti, but from the main pad you can orient yourself with your back to all of that and look down towards the river and trees. Phil is a kind and attentive host, easy to contact.

General maintenance, was overgrown, it is very close to a road with people doing burnouts, it’s close to neighbours, who left there spot light on all night. Not being negative just honest.
Water was lovely, when it was quiet it was quite peaceful. Lots of bushman’s were required for the monster March flies.
I felt the price was a but much for what we experienced.

lovely sloping bush block with great large leveled out areas for tents and the classic washing machine fire pit, beautiful creek at the bottom of the block.. great to sit in on hot days. Plenty to do nearby. Birds everywhere, was marsh fly season so take the bushman's.

Phil was very gracious. The little stream is beautiful and I felt I could relax and enjoy some isolation with nature away from digital data or other campers (no offence 😅) I did a 15km walk on O’Shannassy aquaduct trail which I recommend. As with all bush trips don’t forget the aero-guard!

Absolutely loved camping here and will be back. It was peaceful and just what I needed. Close to the creek which was lovely
Great place to unwind and get back to nature and basics…….and the stars at night AMAZING !!
Phil’s communication was great.
Only downside for me personally was the address we had was wrong….but we ended up finding it. Added to the adventure 😂 and I didn’t realise we’d be so close to the house on the neighbouring block. A little bit of privacy from them would have been nice as I could clearly see their house so I’m sure they could clearly see our camp site which kind of took away from the secluded, private feel of the site but apart from that I had an amazing night

Host Phillip is a lovely guy. Perfect spot to let the dog run a much. Our dog Wilbur got along great with his dog. Nice spot down by the creek to cool off on a hot day.

Beautiful private camp spot with a fire pit and quiet, secluded bank by the babbling creek surrounded by bush. We had such a relaxing time at Riverside and are keen to stay again soon!

If you want a spot to enjoy the river all to yourself then this is the place. We stayed one night with a 16ft caravan which was a technical reverse through the trees down the gravel driveway but very managable with a 4x4 and plenty of room to spread out on a large flat campsite.
