Welcome to Summerhill Vineyard! Pitch your tent or park your camper on a private, elevated position overlooking vineyards, farmland and surrounding mountain ranges. Enjoy plenty of space and peace and quiet. The campsite is located on the edge of our 32-acre vineyard, on a 120-acre property. Guests are welcome to take a walk amongst the vines, subject to vineyard operations during the season of course. All guests must be self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Fire restrictions in place during your stay must be observed. Firewood is available for purchase from a neighbour, located opposite the entrance to Summerhill Road. 4wd accessible during the wetter months and 2wd during the drier months. You are welcome to bring your dog, just please note that the area is unfenced. We have a mob of kangaroos that visit and cattle and horses reside here also. We ask that our guests display responsible pet ownership at all times. Summerhill Vineyard is located in the Upper Yarra region of the Yarra Valley. We are a 5-minute drive from Yarra Junction township, with supermarkets, butchers and a small shopping precinct. The picturesque township of Warburton is just over 7kms away. Restaurants, cafes, and wineries are all a short drive from here. We are a 1hr 15mins drive from Melbourne, though Summerhill Vineyard will have you feeling a world away. The Yarra Valley offers quality local food and wine, breathtaking scenery, walks, cycling tracks, and tourist destinations like Healesville Sanctuary, Lotus Water Gardens, Warburton Rail Trail and much more. Or.....you can chill out and just enjoy the serenity and views from your campsite. My family live on the property, close to 1/2km from the campsite, far enough away for your complete privacy, or close enough if you need us! Mobile network coverage at Summerhill Vineyard, in all areas, is good. Please note you have up to 3 days or 72 hours before the start of your booking to "CHANGE DATES or CANCEL" your booking for a full refund minus Hipcamp fees.Cypress Corner is a well protected, elevated site, with established cypress tree borders and vineyard. Views of the vineyard and surrounding mountain ranges make this a beautiful spot to camp. The area is fairly level with room for a vehicle to turn around. A fire pit completes the site. Fire restrictions and regulations apply and must of course be observed. During fire restriction periods (usually Dec to March), campfires are only permitted if conditions comply with regulations. Pets are welcome; please inform us if you intend to bring your pets with you. Please be aware that this is a working vineyard, so there will be machinery in the vineyard at certain times of the season. Our harvest period runs (sporadically) from mid-late Feb until early April, depending on the weather of course.

Nice vineyard stay
My wife and I booked 4 nights in our 7.6m 2wd motorhome and looked forward to having a peaceful, private stay. We had bikes with us to ride the Warburton trail nearby in Yarra Junction. Summerhill Rd to the property entrance is 650m on a fairly corrugated dirt Rd, then it's about 1.3km to the actual site on gravel rds. Our FWD MH had no problem and even in the wet it should be ok. The first 2 days were great and even though it was 32 degrees we were able to run our generator without disturbing anyone. On the 3rd day a 4wd and a tractor machine came right past our site and were going to be doing that a number of times apparently. Just be aware it's a working vineyard so there may be machinery activity at some stage. The views of the vineyards and hills in the distance were lovely and the short 3.5km ride to Yarra Junction good. The fire pit area is a nice addition even though we didn't use it. Tonia was also very helpful when we made a mistake with dates and rescheduled us.

We had a lovely overnight stay with beautiful views of the vineyard. We had the whole camp to ourselves so was very peaceful. Tonia was lovely and very helpful with directing us to the site. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Ahhh, the serenity!
Lovely little corner in the Vineyard. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We were there on an extremely hot weekend, but there was shade over the van until lunchtime and we could then take up residence under the cypress trees until late afternoon. An easy drive into town and to the river in Warburton, this is a great location with spectacular views from the property. Tonia and Luke were great hosts while giving us total privacy. Would highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Cypress Corner
Surrounded by vines
This was the most scenic and beautiful camping Hipcamp spot we've found yet. It was so relaxing to be nestled in amongst the vineyards and to sit around the fire pit watching the sun set. Just note that it is on top of a hill and is exposed to winds for the west and south-west. Other than that it is a wonderful Hipcamp site!
