The property has a mix of paddocks on 7 acres and a fern gully with a small creek in a 13 acre forest. Towering manna gums and messmate dominate the property along with huge fern trees in the forest. You can park your caravan, motor home or tent on the site. You are 7 minutes drive from Healesville, gourmet shops and the wineries and other attractions like Healesville sanctuary.  Close to badger creek picnic area but why leave when there is a 13 acre forest awaiting and the soundscape is amazing. Guests must be full self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Pets are allowed and will have to on leash and under control.

Allira was very accommodating and went out of her way to help us. The site was very quiet and level. to get onto the site it would be best to arrive during daylight hours and the driveway can be a bit steep for Motorhomes. We had a very relaxing 3 days.

My 2nd Trip here, love it, beautiful quiet place. This time was outside of fire season so was able to have a fire in the fireplace provided. Spectacular!

Beautiful place, tall trees, lots of birds. Maybe a sign on the campsite wouldn’t go astray to make it easier to find but loved it all the same!

Private spot in lush forest, a quiet place to enjoy some forest bathing with birds vocalising through the day and with dusk and dawn.. places nearby to visit like Healesville sanctuary and Yarra valley chocolate factory..

A Peaceful Experience

Beautiful quiet site within the bushland, not too far out of Melbourne, nice and close to Healesville if you want a little day trip. Plenty of room on the site, a neighbour's house up the road but out of sight, only heard their car go past a couple of times. Helpful instructions how to get to the site from Allira (thank you). Lots of birds around during the day, a very friendly magpie (have named him Sebastian), stopped by every now and then to say hello. Overall a wonderful and peaceful experience that I will most likely book again.

Peace and quiet at a good price ($45). Great place to camp on a holiday weekend knowing nobody else will rock up. Next time I'll bring matting to cover the gravel.

Lovely little spot close to Healesville Sanctuary and town. Very quiet and peaceful with heaps of birdlife. Plenty of room to reverse our 13 foot hybrid into the site

Great place to set up camp for two nights. Very quiet and private. Close to wineries and Badger Weir. Great size and views. Loved the afternoon sun. Slept well here. Perfect for 2 vehicles 4 ppl and 1 dog. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again.

A lovely quiet private spot with plenty of shade. We loved the kookaburras, magpies and other birds along with watching the kangaroos that could be seen in the distance.

The environment is tranquil, nested amongst the tall trees that you would expect in a forest. It is super close to Healesville Sanctuary and the town centre. Loved listening to the birds, cows callinb and the wind passing through the tree tops. It was truly a wonderful experience!

Allira’s property is private, with lots of birds and lush greenery. The spot is very easy to get to, close to Healesville, and we explored some of the beautiful areas nearby. It was lovely to come back to the site and hear the kookaburras in the afternoon, and wake up to the birdsong. Thank you for having us, we are feeling well rested after our stay.

Easy access, flat rocky surface so it doesn't get muddy when it rains, just take a tarp to protect the tent bottom and you're golden. Peaceful area, nice nature sounds, great place for a nights stopover!
