Peaceful getaway near Healesville
Allira's property is stunning, the views and peace yet being so close to Healesville is perfect! The firepit is tasteful, and access is quite good.
We just pulled in with a RTT and stayed the one night, but ideal location to base yourself out of in the region.
Highly recommended will visit again!

Best site ever
Epic spot! So quiet and tucked away in the bush. Far enough away from Don Road that you can hardly hear any passing cars.
I stayed with my Labrador pup and we had the best time. Great spot to re-connect with nature.
Creek wasn't running but found it easily. Also found the site instantly. Not sure how some other reviewers couldn't find either lol. Once you head up Old Don Road it is very easy to find.

We loved our camping experience at Allira place. Very peaceful and beautiful. The only thing was that we couldn't find the campsite easy.

Small but cosy
The camp site is a cosy alcove with enough space for a tent, table and some camping chairs. We got a slightly lost and drove past the site but if you drive up Old Don Road up to a shoot-off/small clearing and look out for the fire pit you will find where to set up.
At night there was a bit of road noise as the site positioned close to the main road (Don Road) but this is complemented by nature sounds; birds and other animals.
As per other reviews, be sure to bring strong pegs if you are using a tent as the ground is quite hard (mixture of gravel and clay).

Great spot, So quiet but so close to everything Healsville has to offer. Fire pit provided was perfect. No issues reversing van into position site is level and has good drainage. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this site so much that we booked it again a few days later and stayed for 5 days! The serenity and peace only minutes from town, I loved hearing the kookaburra’s in the morning and evening and seeing the beautiful bush. The small trail is beautiful. Nice flat ground for a tent (though a little hard, we did manage to get the tent pegs in, a few bent a little). The fire pit provided was greatly appreciated.
