If you’re looking for a place to set up camp while enjoying a hike through Kinglake National Park then our little space is just made for you. There are plenty of day walks starting right next to your camp or you can go for a swim in the nearby King Parrot Creek. With just 40min drive to Yarra Valley Wineries you are in a perfect location to set up camp and explore the region. Our pet friendly property is located in a quiet neighbourhood, easily accessible from the road (no 4WD needed) and ideal for swags, tents or campers. Power, tank water, bins and compost toilet are included! It’s only a short wander to the Silver Creek where a 4WD track leads you into the Mount Disappointment State Forrest. The space is part of our front yard and our property is located at the end of a quiet no through road. Your camp site is tucked in between the trees away from our family house with plenty of flat space. Sit at the picnic table or around the fire pit (season permitting) and take in the piece and quiet with plenty of wildlife to enjoy.

Comfortable Stay
Clara and Caleb's camp spot was so comfortable. Clean toilet, wood, tinder and delicious sourdough bread available. Communication with our host was very easy. Highly recommend.

What a lovely little surprise!
We hadn't been to the area and loved it, and then Clara and Caleb's block was just perfect for our 2 night stay. Clara was very helpful; we were also very impressed with the composting loo. Highly recommended!

Silver Creek Escape
We had a lovely time camping at Clara and Caleb's place. Spacious and flat (perfect to pitch a tent) with a big fire pit, table and benches. The compost toilets deserve an award for being so clean and absolutely odourless! Great location next to the entrance of the National Park. Lovely spots along the creek. Went near the General Store to fish, didn't catch anything but spotted several yabbies. I recommend to order the sourdough bread, it's delicious!

Great site with friendly hists close to the National Parks ark and 4wd trails. Will definitely visit again.

Beautiful location
Peaceful, relaxing getaway with amazing hosts who were really welcoming. Loved sitting around the campfire and exploring some of the national park next to the camp. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend to others.

Peaceful weekend away.
Clara and Caleb are the perfect hosts. The site is beautiful. Close to the city, yet out far enough to be in the country. Thank you both for a great weekend and hope Caleb had a good Father’s Day. We’ll be back. Thank you.
