So close to the National park for river side walks. Very peaceful, lovely owners, fantastic toilet, amazing fire pit, even a table and bench chair. Highly recommend! Also a great bakery just down the road, hidden next to the petrol station

This camp site is in such a beautiful, quiet spot right next to the National Park, which was perfect for a quick walk to check out the creek or a longer hike.
We had a great couple of nights camping with our two dogs & will definitely book again.
Clara & Caleb were the perfect hosts, providing fresh eggs & plenty of wood for the fire.
The toilet facilities were so clean, I think it was the first time I’ve been pleasantly surprised by a camp toilet 😁

Nice and simple. Creek nearby. Great hospitality. Located in their front yard. Certainly great for a night or two for a quick getaway but not very secluded if that’s what you’re after. We had a great time!

We had a great experience staying at Clara and Caleb’s land. This was actually our second time camping here, which says a lot—we enjoyed it enough to come back again.
The place is peaceful, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The surroundings are beautiful and give a proper camping vibe without feeling too crowded or busy. Everything was as expected (or even better), and it felt very comfortable staying here.
Clara and Caleb are great hosts—friendly, responsive, and they make sure guests have a good experience.
We’d definitely recommend this spot to others and would happily visit again in the future.

We had such a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp hosted by Caleb and Clara - Silver Creek Escape.
The campsite was beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained, perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s also perfect for kids, with plenty of space to explore and enjoy nature safely, which made our trip even more special.
Overall, it was a perfect camping experience for both adults and kids, and we’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature. We’d love to come back again!

It’s a very spacious place near the national park, clean toilets, electricity and water supply are all in close proximity. Would be great to share the place with another couple. It can completely fit two tents and two vehicles easy!

Lovely spot within 50m if national park entrance. Plenty of shade, a big fire pit and a very clean toilet. We'd definitely stay again, had a lovely time

Caleb and Clara’s site is so thoughtfully set up! They brought out eggs, bread and wood fire (you can purchase for so cheap). We set our tent a little too far from the power source but Caleb loaned us an extra long lead!
It’s perfect for those of us who want an easy camp!
There is a drop toilet (the cleanest compost toilet ever!) You could hook up a shower if staying longer as the creek was low.
Safe to leave your belongings and wander off too.

Clara and Caleb have set up a little oasis at the front of their property. Whilst the house is in view of the campsite, you are very much left to enjoy the spacious camp area to yourself. The Silver Creek is just across the road and they are right next to the entrance to Kinglake NP.
You will be the only campers there and can enjoy tank water, power and a very clean compostable toilet. A campfire is also set up for use and you can purchase wood, early check-ins, eggs and sourdough bread.
Highly recommended for people who really want to get away to a quiet secluded area.

Wish it was longer!!!!
The price is too cheap for the size of the land and the fact it has both power and water on site included
As everyone says Clara’s sourdough and eggs are delicious
Drop toilet - amazing
I have already recommended this place to 2 friends - will let camping people know at work too

The place was right next to the National Park, so it was easy to access for walks. There was a lovely little walk along the creek too. The campsite itself was spacious and was great to have free wifi and power. Make sure you order the eggs and sourdough bread. They were absolutely delicious. Clara, the host, was lovely.

We had a wonderful time at Clara and Caleb’s! The site was easy to find and well appointed for tent camping. We loved the opportunity to get some firewood and fresh eggs and bread for our stay too.

So easy! Close to Melbourne, toilet was spotless. Great walks nearby. Power on-site which we used for a kettle for ease of hot water. Clara’s sour dough was a great staple to our meals along with the eggs. Kids could explore the creek and national park nearby. Flat site with easy access to car boot.
Ideal for those looking for a quick get away from Melbourne for a couple of nights, with kids, to get some easy nature time. With a few luxuries of a clean toilet and electricity.

Really lovely place! So close to walking tracks, and very peaceful. The space has great facilities - water, household power, table, grassy lawn with beautiful trees, fireplace and a very clean toilet. The hosts were really nice and helpful.

Lovely peaceful location all to ourselves, next to National Park and walking trails. Friendly hosts providing an excellent facility including toilet, plus power and water if needed. Great option to purchase eggs, bread and wood for the large fire pit. Wonderful choice for our first time using Hipcamp!

We stayed at this campsite as a group of friends with our two dogs in our 2 campervans and had an absolutely fantastic time. The site was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The toilet was genuinely one of the cleanest campsite toilets we’ve ever come across!
All the amenities were spot on, and the host was super responsive and helpful throughout. It was a peaceful and comfortable stay for both us and our two big dogs. We’ll definitely be recommending this spot to others and look forward to coming back again!

This is a brilliant location with great facilities. Excellent hosts. Right next to a national park at the end of a dead end road. Power and water with a compost loo. You can pre purchase firewood and treat yourself to farm eggs and wonderful sourdough loaf. Make sure you have a long power lead and a torch for the loo. We will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay at Clara and Caleb’s hipcamp. Was very spacious for the 2 couples and the doggie 🐶 The compost toilet was super clean! The sourdough and eggs were delicious, definitely recommend adding them onto the stay. Caleb was fantastic at helping with anything extra we needed, very accommodating hosts!

We would definitely recommend Clara and Caleb's place for camping. It is very serene and offers many amenities such as compostable toilet, disposal bins, water and electricity supply. It is a great camping set up. You will definitely have the best sleep under the stars.

The site was beautifully maintained, and the waterless toilet was impressively clean — even cleaner than most department store bathrooms, and completely odourless!
Our pups had a blast running freely around the site. Although dogs aren’t allowed in the national park next door, we still enjoyed being surrounded by nature and exploring the area with them.
If you stay here, don’t miss out on ordering the bread and eggs — the homemade bread was absolutely delicious, and the eggs were incredibly fresh!
It does get cold at night, but with the electricity hookups, we were nice and cozy with our electric blanket in the tent.
We’ll definitely be back!
