Guests MUST be fully self-contained and bring their own camping toilet. (No holes in the ground) you will need to have a suitable camp toilet where you are able to take your waste with you on departure. There is a Dump Point available in Rawson. Site Toilets can be hired thru Moe Hire (03 5127 7114), they will deliver & pick up from your site. A fire pit is provided free for the duration of your stay to each camp group. Available on request: Hazelnut Farm Tour including product sampling. Yearly Activities January We are cleaning the Hazelnut Groves ready for Harvest in March/April. January/February Weather permitting, is Hay Season, large tractors may be on site cutting and rolling bales of hay. March/April Is Harvest Time for our Hazelnut Groves. If you book a stay during these times, there may be a lot of activities and sounds between 10am & 6pm each day. You'll have the paddock to yourself (unless you book between end Dec to mid Jan, when it's a shared site - see listing) but you'll be close enough to the action to see the comings and goings of our multigenerational family who live here as we potter around the farm, veggie garden and orchard. Say hi! Say g'day to the curious chooks and friendly dogs and enjoy the top-notch "equine views" from your site with three lovely horses in the next paddock. The camp site has a large flat area and can accommodate most vehicles. The ground surface is level, but grass is a bit rough and expect some sticks and twigs and holes around. Horses sometimes graze the paddock and poo is picked up but if you're lucky you might find some remnants! No wild party groups, please! We want you to have a fantastic time but please respect the peaceful surrounds, our neighbours and our family, so please keep the noise down after 10pm. Sorry but no pets, as we have stock, horses and our own dogs and they may not mix well.

Stockyard Paddock is located at our property called "Tarrawonga", situated on the outskirts of Port Albert. Two minutes drive to the town centre and 10 minutes to nearby Yarram. Tarra Bulga National Park and the magnificent Wilson's Promontory are easy day trips for some of the best hiking in the state. We are a 16-acre hobby farm. We run about 30 sheep who are looked after by "James" the pet Alpaca. We also have a newly established seasonal wetland project in the making. Just sit back and enjoy the local Kangaroos and abundant birdlife. Campers have access to a level and grassed, four-acre cleared open dry paddock with a treed outlook. Access is good for caravans and other RVs. You need to be self-contained, with your own camp toilet. There is water and a dump point just two minutes drive up the road. No generators please. Port Albert is steeped in history and a visit to the maritime museum is absolutely worth the time. The Alberton Hotel provides a courtesy bus if you're after a counter meal and drinks. Tarra Bulga National park is close by and provides some magnificent walks. Wilson's Promontory is a great day trip. And of course, there is always the famous Port Albert Fish and Chip shop. Well-behaved dogs welcome on leash.

We must be the luckiest people alive to have somehow become the owners of this property which is only a short drive from the breathtaking Wilsons Promontory, and according to Lonely Planet, the second best beach in the WORLD. The property has an abundance of temperate rainforest including massive gum trees, 6m tall tree ferns, permanent spring fed creeks, our own lake and more Australian wildlife than most zoos*. Living here, we feel like we're on holiday every day of the year. Camping sites are situated at the back of the property just a quick 5-minute walk from the car park. We'll transport your gear to your campsite so you can get set up quickly and start exploring the property or just kick back and relax. The three campsites are positioned so that you won't hear a sound from any other campers on the property. You will feel like you've got the whole place to yourself. Camp in a semi-sheltered paddock on our 25 acre family farm "Ennsivale", on the outskirts of Sandy Point. You'll be on the doorstep of the most beautiful beaches, fishing, vibrant local towns and Wilson’s Prom. Wake up to birdsong, go to sleep to the sound of the waves, and spot a koala if you’re lucky. With a flush toilet, a cold bore water shower, an outdoor fridge (old but works fine!), a power point for charging devices, and access to a drinking water tap, you’ll be very comfortable as you explore the local area. We love it here and we know you will too. You'll have the paddock to yourself (unless you book between end Dec to mid Jan, when it's a shared site - see listing) but you'll be close enough to the action to see the comings and goings of our multigenerational family who live here as we potter around the farm, veggie garden and orchard. Say hi! Say g'day to the curious chooks and friendly dogs and enjoy the top-notch "equine views" from your site with three lovely horses in the next paddock. Sandy Point beaches and General Store 2 mins drive (1km) Shallow Inlet Marine and Coastal Park 5 mins drive Waratah Bay town / beach 10 mins Fish Creek 15 mins (cafes, galleries, pharmacy, general store, pub) Foster 20 mins (stock up at local IGA and Aherns fruit market; pub and take-away outlets) Walkerville North beach 20 mins Wilsons Prom 25 mins to gate and 50 mins to Tidal River It's now Fire Danger Period from November - fires ONLY allowed in our fire pit when wind is less than 10 kmh (very still) and mild temperatures. Check with hosts first and byo firewood. We only allow one group to book at once so the site’s all yours - site is suitable for anything from one or two travellers or a larger group. The camp site has a large flat area and can accommodate most vehicles. The ground surface is level, but grass is a bit rough and expect some sticks and twigs and holes around. Horses sometimes graze the paddock and poo is picked up but if you're lucky you might find some remnants! No wild party groups, please! We want you to have a fantastic time but please respect the peaceful surrounds, our neighbours and our family, so please keep the noise down after 10pm. Sorry but no pets, as we have stock, horses and our own dogs and they may not mix well.

Excellent stay. Great location some 15k’s inland from lovely Inverloch. Great views. Easy access to the property and ideal for any 2WD’s. We have a MH and had access to both power and water if required. We didn’t bother. We were met by the engaging host Adrian who kindly showed me around. What a gem of a place. Manicured lawns in a large fully fenced paddock with a new camp kitchen, hot shower and seperate very clean toilet. 4 sites in total. Lovely dam to the rear of the property and walks back on the roadway overlooking the ocean to the distance. Adrian supplied a great fire pit, kindling and wood at a cost of $25 per night. Overall a wonderful stay - well worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

Had a fabulous long weekend. The site was large and by the river which was very relaxing. There was a great sized firepit where we enjoyed evening fires. Lisa and Bernie are great hosts. We did a couple of trips into Walhalla and had a great meal at the Erica pub.

Excellent hosts and site 1 was an excellent. Very easy to drive in and reverse into. The site was very spacious, level and with privacy. A must is to visit Gurneys' Cidery nearby, it was recommended by Bill. It had great pizza, drinks and beautiful gardens with a great view. Definitely be back to stay again

Loved our semi private camp site overlooking the water. We were able to go for lovely beach walks, and ride our bikes on the beach at low tide. Our dog loved his time there too. The staff at the park were all very welcoming we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we will be back for sure.

Beautiful spot right on the river and all to yourself. Dogs can be off lead. Bit tricky to find, quick call to Adrian got us sorted. If coming off Stoney Creek Rd you need to take the left turn as soon as you see #69 and go up past #67 till you get to the Road Closed. That's the road in, open/close that gate then head down. One track is steeper than the one with some rutts. We took the rutted option, slow and steady you will be fine. We got in and out in our 2WD towing our camper trailer NO ISSUES even after having had 15ml of rain the day/night before we left. Awesome spot, will definitely be back! Thanks Adrian

Plenty of space at Cooper's Corner (bridge). We could here the sound of the creek flowing, almost therapeutic some what? Magnificent bird life at this hipcamp. Certainly worth the trip and what wonderful stay. Totally recommend camping at Hazelnut Valley Farm Stay.
