Secluded in its location, amongst the bushy hills of Hoddles Creek. Much of the 15 acres is undulating bushland with a track looping the property. The track leads down past a beautiful dam located in the property and weaves its way to border the Kurth Kiln Regional Park. Park near the dam and wake up in the morning to the sounds of the birds and have breakfast by the water. During the day go to the amazing nearby wineries in the nearby yarra valley and enjoy lunch in style. Please note: in case of heavy rains 2wd may have difficulties accessing the site.Pitch your tent or park your caravan near our beautiful dam nwsted in the middle of secluded bushland and enjoy nature at its best. Next to the parking location there is a beautiful 15 min track around the property amongst the trees where you can go for a walk in the morning. The main house is 5 min walk up the hill.

Great site with cover
Nice view, beautiful site, good location with towns nearby. Did not need worry about rain as the site has cover.

Campsite by the Dam - Hoddles Cree
Really nice area to relax.
Really nice place right in the trees. With a tin roofed section you can set up a tent and be protected. Caravan parking areas are limited and was a challenge to get it level but we got there. Great place to set up and do nothing at all and relax by the fire, and listen to some tunes or just to listen to nature. Lucas and his family are absolutely fantastic, came to welcome us and offer anything that we may need. Would highly recommend a trip here

Campsite by the Dam - Hoddles Cree
Overall had a lovely stay. Felt like a secluded getaway with all the trees and privacy from the main house. Great location not too far from Melbourne and nearby amenities. Getting the trailer level was a little tricky but manageable. Lots of insects as it was close to the dam. Could here the neighbour's music all day up to 11pm plus chainsaws, road sounds etc that dampened the serenity for us unfortunately.

Campsite by the Dam - Hoddles Cree
Surrounded by tall trees. Was lovely watching the black cockatoos, crimson rosellas and king parrots flying over ahead and listening to the frogs at night. The covered area was perfect to set up our camp kitchen and know we would stay dry if it did rain.

Camping near a Forest
Lucas and family are lovely people and very helpful. The site is at the back of the property and adjacent a forest basically with birds singing in the evening and morning. Site access is 2WD in the dry and definitely a 4WD when wet. We had a 2WD and parked up at the house on the day that had some rain. As per photos we set up under the free standing structure where the site is very protected from the weather letting us only having the inner of the tent set up. We loved our 3 days enjoying a campfire and riding the Warburton Lillydale trail which is about 10 minutes away and one of our favourites. Our German Shepherd Thor loved playing with Obe a lovely dog of the hosts.
