Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Property is situated on the outskirts of Melbourne with mesmerising views overlooking Melbourne in the South, Macedon Ranges in the West and Mt Disappointment in the East. Property is 45 acres and it is one of the highest point in North of Melbourne. Great views during day and night. Pick a spot, pitch your tent and off you go. There is a medium size dam at the bottom of the hill. Plenty of spots where you can set up. 270 degree views. Clear view of Melbourne CBD.Property is surrounded by other paddocks which have kettle and horses. Wallan township is 5 mins drive and Kilmore is 8 mins. No campfires are allowed during your stay. Pets are not allowed. Nice quiet spot with a great view into the city from the top of the hill. We just did a quick overnight stop so cant comment to much. Was a bit tricky to find but it is the gate to the to the left of the entry to the phone towers.

Great location unfortunately didn’t accomodate for campers , unsure where we had to go, no number on property. Had to call the owner for instructions. Was a paddock with long grass and not many spots to set up a swag. Has potential if an area was cleared out.

The site wasn’t in great condition, and I don’t feel it reflected the quality that the listing showed. I had a nice time despite this. The property is very large.
