This is a nice, peaceful campsite with plenty of space for family and pets. However, there was an electric fence right next to our site, which made me feel uneasy having a puppy with us. Even though it's an on-leash area, an electric fence isn't very dog-friendly. The campfire setup wasn't ideal, either; it was exposed to the wind from all directions, making it really challenging to get a fire going.
A 4WD is definitely a must here. The entrance road is very uneven and gets extremely muddy. Also, a heads-up for families: there is some leftover construction debris around the site, including exposed steel bars, so keep a close eye on your kids. On a positive note, the host was super friendly and welcoming!
