There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's. Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields.

The Blue Stone Barn Site
There is tons of room at each campsite, and the sunset was lovely. Only issue was with finding the Blue Stone Barn campsite (turn off signage for this camp may need a facelift). Note that there are also a number of gates to get through before getting to the campsite. Lovely stay!

The Blue Stone Barn Site
Disappointed
I was booked to stay at Bluestone Barn. It said on the app that this site has toilets. It But it does not have any toilet. The nearest toilet is at the shearing shed which is about 1 km away through a number of paddocks for which gates have to be opened and closed to keep the stock in. The shearing shed toilet is mentioned elsewhere. That does not count as a toilet. On the app please state how far it is to a toilet. The other disappointment was the water in the creek is stated to be crystal clear. It was not. It was muddy. So I did not stay. It is probably a nice place to stay but please be accurate in your descriptions.

Camping and fishing
Always enjoy camping here. Nice and quiet and have your own space. Even saw a platypus swimming in the creek.
