Secluded Riverside Camping on the Campaspe River and minutes from Lake Eppalock Escape to nature at our peaceful bush camping site on the banks of the beautiful Campaspe River, just minutes from Lake Eppalock. Perfect for tent campers seeking space, quiet, and a real connection to the outdoors. Set up your tent right by the river, where you can fish, swim, or simply relax to the sound of flowing water. Head to Lake Eppalock for boating, kayaking, water-skiing, or more fishing fun. Explore scenic bushwalking trails, spot native wildlife, and enjoy wide-open spaces—ideal for stargazing and campfires (seasonal restrictions apply). Golf courses and boutique wineries are nearby, and when you’re ready for a cold drink or hearty pub meal, it’s just a short drive to the Axedale or Redesdale Pub, or the towns of Bendigo and Heathcote. This is a very nice camp spot on the river. Only 5 sites available and each has a good amount of space. You can swim and fish in the river. Plenty of birds around and being able to bring you dog is also very nice. I have a 8m van and it was very tight getting in, but after communicating with Peta, a couple of trees were removed by the next day. It's now very to easy access with larger vans and I have already booked my next visit. I have recommend this site to friends and family.

Great spot to camp or caravan. Right next to the river, which was great for swimming, even with young kids. Close to Lake Eppalock too. Peta was great, and very responsive. We will most likely return! Only downside was the proximity to other campers...we found sites rather close compared to our usual hipcamp spots.

Peta was a perfect host, had the cleanest toliet I’ve ever seen on a campsite. Directions were clear as day. Land was lovely and the water in the river was perfect for the hot days. Will definitely be back. Worth every penny.

We were placed on site 4 which easily fit in 2 vans and a couple of swags . The swimming access was a little tricky but manageable. The bonus was the portaloo which was clean and was restocked a couple of times with toilet paper Would definitely book this camp again

A lovely spot by the river... we stayed with 2 other families and had a great time. Peta was always available to answer any questions and would certainly recommend.

Our family really enjoyed camping here. The water was nice and cold, perfect for the hot days. A very clean and well maintained portaloo was great to have.

Fantastic spot along the Campaspe River! Bring your canoes, kayaks, SUPs and fishing rods. Kids and dog friendly. Camp sites were clean and flat and even toilets on site. Thank you Peta for being an amazing host! Communication was spot on and we will sure be back.
