If like me, your idea of a good camping trip is to take long walks with your dog along meandering tracks on a vast property to spy on the wildlife, and then return to a quiet peaceful camping spot then this property is for you. I highly rate Manfred and his Hipcamp. I will be returning soon.

We had a fantastic stay! The hosts were absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The property is stunning—waking up to kangaroos near our tent was such a special moment. The sunrise and sunset views were breathtaking, making the whole experience even more magical. Highly recommend for anyone who loves nature and peaceful getaways.

Only reason you I wouldn’t give this place a 6/5 star rating is so i could keep the secret to myself. Lots of space to wander, wildlife and backing onto the national park. Manfred very hospitable!

Had a great time camping at Mount Black Station. Beautiful place, with lots of birds and roos and wallabies around. Campsites were generous and it still felt like we had lots of space, even with quite a few other campers around. Amazing views of the stars too. Manfred ensured we were set up on arrival and was great to chat to about his property and the wildlife there.

Great location just a couple of hours out of Melbourne with plenty to do around Nagambie and surrounds.
Manfred is a stellar host and does all poossible to make guests feel welcomed and looked after during their stay..

A wonderfully peaceful and spacious property, allowing campers to spread out and enjoy the surrounds!
Walking tracks, lots of birds and kangaroos in surrounding paddocks with serene views!
We will definitely be back, it was lovely to getaway and enjoy the peace and quiet with a cosy fire at night to sit around with friends.
Thanks to Manfred, the host, for ensuring all the campers had wood and he attended to the drop dunnies daily 😉
Nagambie is only about a 20 minute drive away for those who wanting something else to do or to pick up supplies.

What a lovely spot to pull up for a few days and enjoy the serenity! Lots of space to spread out, with no one in your back pocket!
A 20 minute drive to Nagambie for those wanting an outing, but we loved kicking back, bird watching with lots of walks to enjoy, and an abundance of birds and lots of kangaroos in surrounding paddocks.
Manfred was a great host and made sure the campers had wood, and attended to the 2 drop dunnies daily 😉

10/10. Cannot speak highly enough of the camping experience my partner and myself had here. The birdwatching is second to none, I saw at least 20 species that I had never seen before. The walking tracks are fantastic. Will definitely be back in the future

Very quiet and good spots to make big campings,
Nagambie town just 15min driving. The place is much better for caravans, but you can also make your tent. The toilets are not so good.

Manfred’s property was great. We had lots of space and plenty of room between campers so it felt private. The toilets were in good condition and close to camp. We had a great time! Just be prepared for the drive in as it’s a long rocky road.

The site was perfect for what we wanted, peaceful, private, birds and other wildlife around. The long drop toilets were impeccable, so clean and well maintained. Manfred is a great host, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and lovely to talk to. The road in is unsealed and long so maybe not suitable for rental campers during the wet months.

Manfreds farm was beautiful and extremely well maintained! The campgrounds felt secluded and we were able spot a few species of birds and kangaroos! Beautiful bit of country - his efforts to regenerate and conserve the land are noticed.

We had an amazing camping trip at Manfred's property in Mt Black Station near Nagambie. The place is super secluded and peaceful—perfect for beginners like us. The added bonus of toilets on-site made everything so much easier!
Despite it being such a hot day, the temperature dropped quickly as soon as the sun set, making for a really comfortable evening. The highlight was definitely getting so close to kangaroos—such a unique experience. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping was a lovely touch, and the sunset and sunrise were stunning. We also had some incredible stargazing at night.
Manfred was just as wonderful—so friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay.
Overall, it was the perfect spot to escape and enjoy nature. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Manfred is a wonderful host with a beautiful property. There is many sites but more than enough space to spread out and have privacy. There is 2 drop toilets for campers to use, they are well kept, clean, and bug and fly free.
It’s a great central location to visit the surrounding areas but also make sure to have some time to explore the property and see the wonderful native animal which call it home. Manfred is a wealth of knowledge of the local area and is more than happy to suggest places you might like to visit.
We still have over half the property to explore so will certainly be back!

From the outset Manfred was helpful, friendly and very informative! The property is very rural and quiet, importantly allowing travelling fur babies!
We loved the property, loads of walks to do, birds and wildlife! We like peace and quiet, we certainly got it!
As per the explanation of the property it is rural which we are set up for so it was perfect👌
