We were lucky enough to stay here for 2 nights with no one else here. A relaxing peaceful stay with our 6 month old. Loretta was lovely with great communication, even saved us by giving us a jump start when our car battery went flat! Thanks for having us. Loved the Australian bush and birdlife !

High Country Paradise
Great camp, had four lovely nights. Our host Loretta was awesome. Landscape and views were special. Plenty of room to explore and relax. Highly recommend this camp and will be back soon.

Our third trip to High Country Paradise was just as fantastic as our first two. Loretta is a very friendly host and always responds very quickly to messages, and the property is magnificent. The sites are huge, so nobody is crammed in, and the creek that runs along the border is fantastic to cool off in the hot weather. Whether sitting out beside the firepit, under the stars staying warm in the colder nights, sitting on a chair in the creek to cool off in the heat, it very relaxing and battery recharging! Only a 15 minute drive to town, and heaps to do in the area, I would definitely recommend this Hipcamp to others!

This was just what our family have been looking for! Spacious sites and a private feel. Creek access was a huge benefit, the kids spent hours splashing there. Flushing toilets were a bit of a luxury too :)

I loved camping here, especially sitting in the creek on a hot afternoon. We wanted some peace and we found it, being lucky to come midweek and have the whole place to ourselves. It would be great for a group as well. I hope to come back one day.

Had our first Hipcamp stay at High Country Paradise in Myrtleford and honestly, it was unreal. Such a beautiful spot with amazing views and heaps of space to just relax and switch off. Super peaceful and really well looked after — exactly what we needed.
Big thanks to Loretta for being such a lovely and welcoming host. You’ve got an absolute gem there!
Couldn’t have picked a better place for our first Hipcamp experience — we’ll definitely be back 🙌

Absolutely loved the spot and Loretta was so lovely. We had great views, loved the wildlife and horses. Sites were far away from each other and the property is so peaceful we will definitely be back.

High Country Paradise
We stayed here for 3 nights with our 3 young kids. It was 40+ degrees here but we loved the river that was there just for our camp-site. The river and the camp site itself provided just the right amount of privacy. The river was the right height for adults and kids and was exceptionally clean. We loved the cows and the horses were very polite whilst they were grazing around our camper. Myrtleford in itself provided alot of opportunities for our family to explore Eg local restaurants, water play park, Mosaic Bike trail (5km kids friendly). We also travelled 30km up to the Apex Lookout (4WD vehicles only) and the view was well worth the drive up! The wildlife is great and our kids didn't want to leave. Thank you to Loretta for being very welcoming and providing communication throughout our trip. A memorable trip that's for sure!

Fantastic & clean as a whistle camp site with access to a nice creek that our kids & we all loved & had a blast. It was the highlight of their time there & they have not stopped talking about it since leaving. Cannot wait to go back in the near future.

We had a fantastic time at High Country Paradise once again (Third time camping there). Loretta is a great host, very friendly. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. We enjoyed the water and seeing so many beautiful birds. The kids had so much fun playing in the water and there is so much space to run and ride bikes and play without disturbing anyone else. I love how the camp sites are far away from each other so we don't disturb each other. We will definitely be back again.

We had a fantastic time at our first ever Hipcamp stay. The location was amazing. We had camp site 3 which had a beautiful creek and stunning views. The location is secluded, we had plenty of room on the site and lots of space between other sites which was great. Overall such a wonderful experience and stay for our little family.

Stunning location and beautiful access to the refreshing creek. Loretta was super helpful, recognising that we are not seasoned campers, she gave great advice around the property for ourselves and our kids. Would come back in a heartbeat. The horses were so kind :)

This truly is a slice of paradise in the High Country. Stunning location at the foot of Mt Buffalo. So much bird life. Easy access to the beautiful creek (not really deep enough for swimming). Huge camp site areas really well spread out. Great for groups. Basic but clean toilet facilities and really well kept camping areas. Fire pits for each site. A real credit to Loretta. We will be back.
