We loved camping with loretta! Not only is her property beautiful, she's great for a chat. Happy to be somewhere where the host expects all campers to respect the experience of others.
Easy access. Lots of space. Firepits were very convenient. Loretta was great with comms, very experienced. We had an issue with Firewood not being dropped off on time and our delivery was forgotten altogether but this was forgiveable as mistakes can happen and Loretta gave us some wood to get by until her contact for wood delivered. Not too close to other campers. Location is pretty great. Some fantastic local stories too.
It’s a big enough to feel like private. Loved the freezing cold dip in the morning and the big fire pit. Super serene for proper unwind. Thanks for coming and saying hello Loretta ☺️

The camping areas are enormous, with the creek running along the side. We had a fabulous stay, by ourselves, just the birds, beautiful surroundings. No complaints about the toilets; they were find.

Gorgeous place to visit. Have been here twice now, the kids have an absolute ball!
Nice large flat area to set up two large tents next to our cars. Next campers were approx 75m away. Location is close enough to Myrtleford that you can buy dinner ingredients each afternoon in town, reducing need for fridge or esky to hold several day's worth of food.

Had a wonderful time at the site . Loretta our host is friendly and helpful. Even visited us to have a chat . Put our group in the best location of the property and waking up in the morning to see Mt Buffalo in front of your tent is amazing . High Country Paradise
Camping at high country paradise was great for our group of 8 (4xA, 4xCh). Lots of space, felt very private with a good distance between campsites. We had direct access to the river, but was a bit low for swimming when we went in April. Lots of great waterholes and swim able rivers a short drive away. Loretta was fantastic, great comms, very thorough and interesting to chat with! The camp was beautiful and the kids made friends with the horsey neighbours. Will be back and highly recommend!
We had a lovely time camping at Loretta’s land. Each camping site is big and far from each other enough for privacy. Our camp site was perfect near the creek and not far from the toilet. The toilets are flushed toilets so it’s a bonus. We also love the fire pit. We need a bag a day for 2 of us. We were there during the Easter holiday so it got very cold at night towards morning. Loretta is a great host, a beautiful person so thanks Loretta for having us in your land. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Great camp spot - spacious sites and beautiful
surrounds. Plenty of space for the kids to explore, ride bikes etc. The creek is stunning - we’ll be back in the warmer months for sure.

We were lucky enough to stay here for 2 nights with no one else here. A relaxing peaceful stay with our 6 month old. Loretta was lovely with great communication, even saved us by giving us a jump start when our car battery went flat! Thanks for having us. Loved the Australian bush and birdlife !
Easily the best place we have camped. Plan to go back yearly at least. Great size camp spots to give you your own privacy and access to river.

Great camp, had four lovely nights. Our host Loretta was awesome. Landscape and views were special. Plenty of room to explore and relax. Highly recommend this camp and will be back soon.
Our third trip to High Country Paradise was just as fantastic as our first two. Loretta is a very friendly host and always responds very quickly to messages, and the property is magnificent. The sites are huge, so nobody is crammed in, and the creek that runs along the border is fantastic to cool off in the hot weather. Whether sitting out beside the firepit, under the stars staying warm in the colder nights, sitting on a chair in the creek to cool off in the heat, it very relaxing and battery recharging! Only a 15 minute drive to town, and heaps to do in the area, I would definitely recommend this Hipcamp to others!

We absolutely loved our stay- the steam was so peaceful and we loved the horses!
This was just what our family have been looking for! Spacious sites and a private feel. Creek access was a huge benefit, the kids spent hours splashing there. Flushing toilets were a bit of a luxury too :)
I loved camping here, especially sitting in the creek on a hot afternoon. We wanted some peace and we found it, being lucky to come midweek and have the whole place to ourselves. It would be great for a group as well. I hope to come back one day.

Had our first Hipcamp stay at High Country Paradise in Myrtleford and honestly, it was unreal. Such a beautiful spot with amazing views and heaps of space to just relax and switch off. Super peaceful and really well looked after — exactly what we needed.
Big thanks to Loretta for being such a lovely and welcoming host. You’ve got an absolute gem there!

Absolutely loved the spot and Loretta was so lovely. We had great views, loved the wildlife and horses. Sites were far away from each other and the property is so peaceful we will definitely be back.
