Beyond the fences, you'll see rustic sheds and the paraphernalia of farm life, kids especially love seeing a tractor rumble past on occasion. The surrounding dirt roads offer wonderful walking and cycling tracks and there are bicycles available for guest use.

Blackwood cabin is in such a beautiful spot, it was so peaceful to listen to the nearby river and birds. The cabin is very cosy with the fireplace inside and very well appointed. Eldorado’s family shepherd’s hut was the perfect getaway! It had everything we needed— a comfy bed with great pillows, a convenient ensuite, and much-appreciated air conditioning, especially on a scorching 38-degree day. The location was ideal, with the pub just a short walk away serving delicious meals. My only regret? Not staying longer! Highly recommend for a relaxing and well-equipped escape.

It’s in a beautiful spot with plenty of bird life, a small stream only 200 meters away and a well presented log cabin with an open fire pit out the front. Minimal phone coverage but that suited us getting away for some chill time.
