Nestled amongst the mountains just outside of the township of Whittlesea our 40-acre property sits above the clouds. This experience comes with sweeping views, a hidden waterfall, a clear campground, and plenty of wildlife.
The camping area is accessible by 4WD only, otherwise, strap on a backpack and earn it! (800m walk/hike from where a non-4WD can park). The waterfall is reached by a single trail track from the campsite, and you do need to be an experienced hiker to get to the waterfall. Which is part of the appeal!

If the weathers cool, warm up at the fire pit or by the wood burning fire. There are two cabins and a yurt that share a unique dining/kitchen area paired with shared private toilet, outdoor shower and hot and cold bath under the stars for a very relaxing memorable time in nature should you not want to camp.
The cabins are converted shipping containers. Cabin 1 has a king bed, Cabin 2 has 2 double beds (bunk style) and a yurt (1 - 4 people). Shared facilities. Please do note the yurt does not have electricity however we supply portable flood lights to hang in trees and inside. Charging station in the toilet shed or kitchen. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins. It has one super comfortable king and two single matresses. It's warm and so peaceful you will never want to leave. Mains water tap nearby.

The property is defined by an ancient water course that cuts a 1km ravine through the property. During the winter the dry boulder-strewn gorge is transformed with waterfalls and cascades along its length and regardless of the season transports you to another time and place.
There is limited solar power (enough for phones and laptops) and low flow water (enough to brush your teeth). Neither is guaranteed to be available. A wood stove heats the hut, boils the kettle and cooks your dinner; firewood is included. An open outdoor bathroom includes a sink, bath and drop toilet. Hot water is available but not promised. The hut is fenced and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
This property is suited to resourceful guests who are familiar with lighting fires, swinging an axe and understanding rural courtesies. The abundance of wildlife is used to peace so if you are taking a dog with you then please keep it within eyesight and always under your control. The cabins are converted shipping containers. Cabin 1 has a king bed, Cabin 2 has 2 double beds (bunk style) and a yurt (1 - 4 people). Shared facilities. Please do note the yurt does not have electricity however we supply portable flood lights to hang in trees and inside. Charging station in the toilet shed or kitchen. The yurt is approx 150 meters from the cabins. It has one super comfortable king and two single matresses. It's warm and so peaceful you will never want to leave. Mains water tap nearby.

The hut is fenced and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Highly recommend Kilbirnie Peak Glamping if you’re looking for a country getaway. 360 degree views of the country side, comfy bed, bath on the deck (with hot water), toilet and shower (it is glamping), pizza oven and BBQ, fire pit (when it’s not a total fire ban), lots of sheep and an alpaca 🦙, had yummy homemade cookies waiting for us, so many little touches (mozzie coils, usb fans, phone chargers, lovely toiletries, plenty of towels, speaker), just wasn’t a long enough stay ❤️
Susie is a fabulous host and great communication. Will definitely be back again.

I haven’t stayed at little A yet. I’m rescheduling my stay as I couldn’t take my little kids and dog there in the 40degree plus heat especially once I realised we’d have to walk quite a way. Patrick has been very responsive to my messages and very understanding about my need to shorten/reschedule our stay. I’m looking forward to our stay.

3 nights at Kilbirnie Peak Glamping
Amazing place to stay. Sunrise shining through the tent in the morning and unbelievable sunsets at night. And the bath tub which was great on the hot days. We had clear nights so were treated to some of the best stars we've seen.
Hosts were great as well. Highly recommend the breakfast box.

What a special experience at Susan’s place. The bath is spectacular!!!! Susan has thought of every detail. Plates, glassware, tea and coffee - it all made the glamping very glamorous! Weekend Trip to Facta Glamping
Driving into the beautiful property, greeted by gorgeous horses, we knew we were in for a treat! The glamping tent pitched high on the hill overlooking Howes Inlet was just spectacular. Beautifully presented, amazingly comfortable and cozy bed with electric blankets and beautiful linen. A loo with a view!
We sat by the fire-pit, eating nibbles and watching the sun go down, we lit the fire tub and soaked under the star lit sky with a glass of red, it was bliss.
In the morning we watched a beautiful sunrise up over the hills.
Directions to the property were well written and Sam and Jess were easy to communicate with.
Would highly recommend facta glamping and would love to stay again!

Technically, you're in a tent, but it's
the size of a small apartment, so it's easy to just chill out, relax, and unwind. A decent kitchen, bathroom, a lovely and a lovely little deck from which to gaze at the stars make this place a delight.

We had an amazing stay at Facta Glamping! The site was beautifully set up with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway! Peaceful views, comfy beds, and a great outdoor setup for the fire and tub. Don’t go looking elsewhere but do yourself a favour and book your stay here! Its the most magical place with everything you need and more. From the candles to the firelighters, lots of blankets, pizza oven, grill, open fireplace, lots of ottomans and a bathtub. We felt at peace and very secluded. Susi has done such an excellent job and deserves lots of credit for it. She wrote us a little note and packed two delicious homemade cookies which was extremely cute. Will definitely come back for more and recommend to anyone i know!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Stayed here over the weekend with my wife—was a lovely little escape. The host was super helpful and made everything easy. The tent had everything we needed: a small kitchen, clean washroom, and best of all, a hot water bathtub out on the deck. It got pretty windy after dark, but the felt warm and cosy inside the tent. Would go again in summer.

Really wonderful weekend escape. My partner and puppy and I enjoyed a farm stay here at Anne Maree's cute cabin. It had everything we needed and was easy to find, the farm grounds are huge and we couldn't even manage to walk the whole property! Friendly dogs on the farm that would visit us. The cabin it Esse was lovely and well presented, heating, comfy bed, kitchen with everything needed and am amazing bathroom with rain shower. The jacuzzi looked lovely but it was raining the entire stay, and it was not working anyway(the owner was extremely apologetic about this, and made up for it, by offering other alternatives and also made us home made scones, lamb shank soup and some other goodies, she didn't need to do this however Anne Maree was lovely and a proper host) this made us feel so comfortable and welcome and we already want to go back!! Hoping the rain is not there and the jacuzzi is fixed the next time we are there, Thankyou Ann Maree for a wonderful stay
