Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. The glamping experience was superb! Hosts are lovely, welcoming and genuinely care about the property, animals, and guests. Almost everything was provided, towels/bedding/plates/cups/bowls/bbq tools/papertowel/shampoo/conditioner/toothbush/tea/coffee/bottle of wine/bug repellant/drinking water/fire wood. We made yummy breakfast using the freshly laid chook eggs! You will need you own saucepan for cooking but Webber, bbq plate, and kettle provided. Reception was patchy for us but we found a good spot. There is a heater in the tent but we didn't need it. No noise from traffic. Very peaceful. Lots of wildlife and well as very friendly farm animals. Peaches has a special place in our heart. No access to power so bring a power bank or two. Flushing toilet was perfect. We loved every bit of our stay and will be back. Thanks Sharelle, Wayne, Jemma and Peaches.

A group of us stayed at the Cozy Pozy Caravan and Site 2 of Tamara's farm for 3 nights over the new year. We had a great time and Tamara was a fantastic host! Site 2 has a bit of a slope, but there were enough flat areas to comfortably set up 2 tents, a gazebo, and a campervan (with levelling ramps). The camping area is open, but surrounded by beautiful trees with heaps of birdlife. Also friendly goats and sheep that were super cute! Would recommend staying here, and hope to come back!

Tamara's hospitality and van both were amazing. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our trip as it was too hot when we were there and due to it being holiday season majority of the places were closed. But Kinglake is pretty and the Tamara's place is pretty. Our son had a great time with Goats and Sheep. It is great for couples but maybe a bit challenging with small kids.

Great cozy little spot for us fair weather campers. It was a perfect spot for my two city kids, 3 & 9 yrs old. A simplistic night away. All cooking utilities supplied. Just take your bedding. Easy! The kids loved feeding the goats and lighting the small camp fire. Literally a 2 minute drive to Kinglake servo for some basic supplies.

The photos of the cabin dont do it justice! It is absolutely idyllic and the paddock and river were great for the dog. Ann and Geoff were absolutely fantastic hosts and our only regret was we didn't stay long enough!

My partner and I stayed in the “Cozy Pozy Van” - it was clean and pretty much fully equipped. We enjoyed exploring the farm, feeding the goats, and we even picked our own flowers to take home! Tamara, and her son were very friendly and welcoming.

Weekend Trip to Blackwood Cabin

Blackwood cabin is in such a beautiful spot, it was so peaceful to listen to the nearby river and birds. The cabin is very cosy with the fireplace inside and very well appointed. It was a lovely place to spend a weekend and relax and visit neighbouring towns for dinner and sightseeing. Lovely and welcoming hosts, thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

I had such an amazing getaway at this beautiful farm. The host and her mum were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home and their hospitality was truly exceptional. The van itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The views were absolutely stunning, and spending the evenings by the fireplace under the stars was pure magic.
