Whether you're planning a quiet weekend or some outdoor adventures, this camp is the perfect spot. Located in the Lake Eildon region, we have a whole world of water-sports at our doorstep. Go swimming, canoeing, waterskiing, sailing and fishing in the shadow of the Victorian Alps. Hike up to one of the mountains for breath-taking lookouts and unrivalled views.  There is lots of wildlife around, kangaroos, wombats , rabbits, deer etc. Our property offers both camping site and basic cabins.  Our Cabins are simply just a bedroom for 2 people in each cabin, you will need to provide your bedding, pillows, and towels.  The cabins are located as part of the camp pavilion which is a shared facility, where you will find the toilets, showers, cooking area and decking.  There is toilet and shower available. We are pet friendly. Please note - THE AREA WHERE THE CAMPSITES ARE LOCATED WILL REQUIRE A 4WD OR AWD VEHICLE, PLEASE DON'T BOOK IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE. Please ask about the site you have booked if you have any further questions about this!  These sites are not next to each other and are designed for family camping rather than groups of people wishing to have a party.

Great spot with amenities so close yet still the full camping experience. Had issues with my car and Geoff's support and offers of assistance were greatly welcomed. We have never seen so many stars and the magnificent Eildon dam drive is less than 5 minutes away. If you want to get away from it all THIS is the place!!

We had a great time in the cabin at Geoff’s place. It was exactly as expected with good beds, semi indoor/outdoor kitchen and fireplace. We would definitely stay there again.

First time camper. Camped with a 1yr old and a 5yr old. Great place to camp. We booked site 3 and had the whole place for ourselves. Access to hot shower and a toilet was a bonus. Will camp again

Great private camping spot!
We camped over Easter at site 4 which was quite private. A short walk up hill to facilities which were very clean. You do need a 4WD or AWD so please adhere to that fact as stated on the profile for the property. A beautiful area with lots of wildlife. Our dogs had the best time as did we, rain was annoying but you get what you get...can't help that! Had a lovely fire. Geoff is a great host with a great property he shares so others can enjoy what he has. Will definitely be back!

Great to have the whole campsite to yourself and not be right on top of other campers. Camp fire pit was excellent to sit around at night.

Such a lovely location with amazing views, sites were spread out so felt very secluded . Geoff was a great host, even drove our Ute with van attached around a tricky bend on an incline . Definitely need a 4wd and probably more suited to camper trailers than vans however Geoff is fixing that by making an easier entrance.

The site was great. Stayed at campsite 3. Close to shared facilities which we basically had to ourselves. Other sites were more secluded which would be good if the cabins were occupied. Geoff was very accomodating and easy to deal with. Close 5 mins (ish) drive to Eildon town centre, 15 ish mins to Jerusalem Creek. So quite convenient but away from pack campsites. You do need a FWD but we could easily get the van and boat in. We all said we would go back and stay again.

Great family adventure
Our family (including pup) had an amazing time at Taylor Bay!! Geoff was very accomodating, and the site (closest to the shared facilities) was ideal. Eildon offered so many great adventures, and Geoff’s local knowledge made it easy for us to find an activity that suited the entire family. Will definitely be back!!

We stayed on the camp site furthest from the entrance. The site was great, beutifull views and great kitchen area and shower near the cabins. Geoff was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely need the 4WD to get into the back of the property.

Not for everyone
Although there was a shower available it was cold for each of us that used it. Access may be a bit daunting for some people, you really need a 4 wheel drive. The actual spot we set up our van was flat and tidy with magnificent views. The host was friendly. It was a quiet spot. There was a toilet which we drove to once a day as it was a fair walk.

For family emergency, I had to cancel. I rang the host to let him know that I had to cancel knowing that I would not get the refund. He just said thanks for ringing. I was surprised that he didn't even ask me if everything was okay.

Off grid cabin retreat
Geoff's place is incredible! A huge, stunning property only a couple of hours from Melbourne. Felt like we were days away from civilisation, but at the same time it's only a 5 min drive to town! Geoff was great - we made it in wet weather in a 2wd and he made sure we were safe. Didn't have reception either (only telstra does) so he checked in with us each day. Cheers Geoff! Perfect getaway in cabins Geoff built himself. We were the only guests - winter is quieter apparently - so had the place to ourselves. Cabins were plenty warm with winter gear, fire was fantastic, and the bbq was perfect. Just spent our time walking around the place! Will be back soon to explore more.

A great Easter camping weekend.
Everyone in our group really enjoyed our stay over Easter. Our site was flat and clean and had a nice view to the mountains. The toilet and shower was extremely close. It did get quite busy at times with cars going in and out and picking up boats from the storage sheds. A bit dusty. Geoff was a great host and made us feel very welcome and supplied us with plenty of fire wood. We will be back again to try another site on the property.

Taylor Bay Cabins
We loved staying at the cabins. It was my partner and I, our 4yo son and dog. We loved exploring around the property and watching the birds and our dog loved the space to run free. I think it’s usually dogs on lead but as we were the only ones there Geoff was happy for him to roam. Being the only guests meant our stay was nice and private. Definitely a great spot for small groups too. The facilities are basic but in good order. Great location just minutes from the lake and and beautiful drives. I’m sure there’s lots more to do but we were limited with time. Geoff was a great host, helpful with navigating the local area and let us stay an extra night at short notice. We’ll definitely be back!

Awful campsite. Next.
We booked a campsite for 8 people for a three-night stay. We arrived in the afternoon and waited as the owner was getting very irate at other "campers" who kept taking the wrong tracks to their campsites. We watched a number of vehicles struggle with the very steep tracks and saw a ute with a caravan attached jack knife as it slide precariously backwards. The"campsite" was cut out from the side of the hill. All our vehicles had issues accessing the site from the track and all but a Landcruiser got stuck. The campsite was level. No grass, no shelter. There are trees, but the undergrowth made it impossible to walk between them. Even our dog was struggling and the only shelter she could find was in our shadow. The short trip from the road to the "campsite" had covered all vehicles in dust. The forecast was for rain. We thought all cars would struggle to get in or out of the campsite which we would be doing frequently as you could not spend any time there. We likened it to camping at a quarry. We did see the toilet and showers however they were a long walk up and down and up again from camp quarry. This is a terrible campground. It is for 4 wheel drive vehicles only. It is a dustbowl. The ground is rock hard. Amenities are a long and difficult walk. We agreed to lose our money rather than spend any time here. We left and did some free camping instead- we had good access, grass and shelter and no dust. Avoid this one at all costs.
