We had a great time! Roweena was a great host and the kids loved feeding the animals. Jupiter the goat was the highlight…so friendly…even helped us put our tent up.

Rowie was beyond lovely and welcoming. The property was lovely and the animals were a delight for the kids. So much near by with short drives to do and see. Would certainly stay again!

If you’re an animal lover, this is the perfect place for a getaway! Roweena was a super friendly and accommodating host. She’s made an excellent space for her rescue animals and the campsite is really well kept, with lots of space. We were supplied apples to feed the animals each morning, which was the highlight of our trip! They were all so friendly and beautiful and was such a pleasure to spend so much time with them all. Again, can’t thank Roweena enough for providing such a wonderful experience, can’t wait to come back :)

We spent an absolutely wonderful night at Roweena's place. She is such a lovely host and spent time explaining the farm, it's history and the personalities of all the amazing animals that call it home. We had plenty of space and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area too. Communication with Roweena was perfect and she truly made our stay so unique and easy. Thanks Roweena, you're doing an amazing job!!!

What a perfect weekend away. Plenty of peace and quiet for the parents and a fantastic, welcoming host in Roweena. The boys absolutely loved feeding, patting and just hanging out with the animals, especially the horses. Before we came I read reviews from people who had clearly been here more than just once - and now I know why. We will definitely be back as well. Thanks for a great weekend Roweena.

Fantastic Hospitality and ‘extras’ like water and animal experiences not offered by other hosts; excellent communication. Bring levelling equipment just in case to make your camp more enjoyable as some parts of the land have undulations / slopes. Two thumbs UP overall!!!

Cute little property which houses rescue animals. Horses, buffalo, pig, sheep, etc. The camping area is grassed and flat and fenced off so the animals can't wander through. Not sure about facilities as we didnt need them. Host is an enthusiastic animal lover.

Roweena was super lovely and accomodating to us being there over new years, the rescue animals were adorable and all of us had fun interacting with the animals, especially the pig and goats!
The location is an easy 1-1.5 hour drive from Melbourne, and there’s shops just 5 mins away so we didn’t have any issues if we forgot to pack something.
The site was nice and private, and we all loved staying there :) thanks for having us Roweena!

Another great trip to Roweena's place with my 4 year old to see all the animals. Petunia and the other animals were awesome again but this time there was the additon of two baby goats. The excitement of seeing and feeding all the animals combined with about an hour on the trampoline made for an early night for all.

Excellent place to stay if you or your kids love animals. You can help feed the horses, sheep, ponies, etc and will get plenty of attention from Petunia the pig!
Nice and quiet, easy to find, only a very short drive from Kinglake.
Communication with Roweena was easy and clear. Upon meeting, Roweena showed us (me and my 4y/o) around the farm, introduced us to the animals and gave us some food to give them.

A beautiful and peaceful site with a very warm welcome from Roweena. The site was private, accessible and a great location. We felt completely safe letting our toddler run around, and he especially loved feeding all the gorgeous animals - horses, ponies, sheep, a pig and a cow. Such a fun experience for us all! Highly recommend this lovely, quiet spot with a very friendly host.
