Great set up, walking distance to town with a gorgeous pub. We were lucky to have it all to ourselves. Fire pits are available and were enjoyed in the brisk evenings. The availability of both power and water was also wonderful.
A handy camp for exploring the caves and the surrounding area and hikes.

Hi Christie and Paul, Huge thanks for having me around, you were absolute lifesavers. Your property is beautiful, with lush green grass, a great concrete pad for caravans, fresh air, fire pits and lovely country sounds of cows and kangaroos waking up to. I am especially grateful to Paul, who is a mechanic and kindly fixed the issues with my caravan wheels. Your Cavalier cross is the most relaxed and placid dog. The way she greets guests is lovely, and she deserves all the pats and love.I highly recommend visiting the town of Buchan, just two minutes away. It has a great local pub with good food, a general store, and spots for coffee and cakes. Thanks again for everything me. Best regards. Ron

Great, open spot. There were x3 vans in our group, so we could "circle the wagons".
Quiet, green and lovely views, all within walking distance of the town of Buchan

Many thanks to Paul & Kirstie for letting us stay on their amazing property. We loved it. Peaceful, perfect manicured grass, power if you want it, the little rotunda we camped next to, walk to the pub for dinner, unreal views over the hills, etc etc !!
When we arrived there was about 5 other caravans setup, but don't worry as there's plenty of spots to find and yes there's a bit of levelling but nothing to worry about unless you're someone that likes concrete slabs !
Visit Buchan and stay here, can't go wrong , such a great place to stay and area to explore.

What a great spot. A little undulating on some sites but nothing a chock or two didn't fix.
We were warmly welcomed by Kirstie. Buchan was a great spot to explore. Caves, views ,lovely people.
The pub meals are a must!!!

We loved the open feel of the grassy hills with plenty of wildlife and some cows nearby.
Itâs a very short walk to well maintained public toilets and the town which includes a fabulous pub, PO & grocer, and cafes. Lots to enjoy such as the Caves, Swing Bridge and plenty of walking tracks.
Paul and Kirstie are very welcoming providing detailed directions and information about the site and town. Highly recommend!

Great access and a lovely outlook
It was very close to the local pub and lots of wildlife on display.
It was on fire restriction area but when fires are allowed it had a few excellent pits overlooking the valley.

We loved camping at Grandview Sanctuary. Peaceful, scenic and just a short stroll to public toilets, hotel and Buchan Caves. Hosts Paul and Kirstie were wonderful, sending directions before we arrived and responding to queries. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a pet friendly camp site at Buchan.

Clear instructions to find their property. The property was very well looked after. The grass was freshly mown and so lovely and green. The outlook into the rolling hills was stunning. The property was right next to town and the Buchan caves which suited us perfectly. Highly recommended.

What a magical spot! Grandview Sanctuary was so well maintained and tidy with an incredible view at any time of day or night. Great location with a playground and public toilet at the end of the driveway. Plenty of things to do in Buchan and the surrounding areas - the cave tour was great!
This place is a hidden gem and worth the stop in for a reset and escape.

Had a great time with our family and friends! We parked up near the fire pit overlooking the horses and cows in the paddock. Was the perfect place for the kids to run around and the grass was very well kept. Will be returning for sure!

This promised peace and few sites and it delivered. Only 3 camping groups in a large paddock surrounded by rolling hills. Walk across the road to the pub and General Store, 10 minute drive to Bluffs Reserve with a good swimming hole and had the good fortune to be there for Buchan Makers Market.

Wide expansive well kept grassed area for tents or in my case a camper trailer. I just parked on small concreted area near the Old Dairy/Cabin. I didn't use power but is available.
Be aware there is now amnesties or water available on site.
Easy walk to village and Pub. Food was great at the pub, and generous.
Would use again, was made very easy by Paul and Kristie and thier info leading up to visit was spot on

Beautiful views, peaceful. Cows and horses in neighbouring paddocks roaming the hills. Beautiful sunsets and start sky's. Short walk to town, caves and many hiking/walking trails/rivers. The pub food was delicious.

Grandview Sanctuary is nestled between rolling hills and is tranquil yet conveniently right in town. We loved camping here; our highlight was sitting by the fire with a wine and dark-sky stargazing. The pub meals are great and the Road house has good coffee. Thanks Paul and Kirstie. We will be back :)

We loved Grandview Sanctuary. Lovely view of the hills. Nice and peaceful. The cows and the birds kept our fur child Ruby amused. We would definitely stay again.
