Big, beautiful sites with enormous spaces (forest/hills) between sites so you have complete privacy from other campers. Cleanest pit toilet I’ve ever seen, with a view worth $$$$.
Big fire pits and generous supply of firewood if you choose to purchase it.
This place was everything I hoped it would be and the super friendly hosts just topped it off

If you want to get away from the maddening crowd and completely turn off from your tech, this is the spot. Immersing myself in the isolation, the only sounds coming from nature and being able to sit by the rushing river or sit on the loo while looking at the bush, gave me the most alive feeling. The spot is perfect with the cleared circle and excellent fire pit all bringing such a sense of peace. Even heard a lyrebird go through its paces.

Great helpful hosts, nice river side camp ,heaps of space . Drop toilet is clean and maintained well. Track in is pretty tight with a van, something to look out for . And it would be amazing if the river was flowing. Prob a bit far off the main rd for a single night though. Again lovely hosts very helpful and kind.👍

Could not recommend this place enough. We had such a great time staying at Joanne and Joe’s property, and they were very welcoming and great hosts.
The property is absolutely beautiful and the site very private, also soo much wildlife around to see (bandicoots, birds, deer etc..).
So beautiful that we even got engaged down by the river. 💍
We will have very fond memories of this place and look forward to staying here again some time in the future.

Thank you Jo for welcoming us to your little slice of paradise. We had a fantastic time. The site was very private, with excellent facilities, fire pit, wood available for purchase. The little touches of everything did not go unnoticed. This was our first Hipcamp experience which I think will be hard to beat. Would love to be back one day. Jo and her family were very friendly and welcoming.

I wish I had more than one night. I have never felt such serenity. Easy to find, Joanne waiting for us and showed us our spot on The Bend. Our fire pit was perfect and wood available to buy. As a new camper I knew I had found my paradise.

Thurra Bush Camp has some of the best campsites we've ever seen. Towering gum trees, beautiful rivers, grassy sites and absolute privacy. This is what camping dreams are made of. We'll be back.

We stayed on a long weekend and loved that we had the entire site to ourselves rather than squeezing into an already full camp-site. The Falls is complete private, surrounded by nature with the only sound being the river flowing and birdsong.
Joanne gave us clear location directions and after a warm welcome, showed us to our site then left us to enjoy the tranquillity whilst letting us know to not hesitate to reach out if we needed anything.

Loved camping at the Tinny site. You have to experience it to appreciate it. Private. Cleared open area with sun for solar panels and shade if needed. Surrounded by natural forest. On the river. Unspoilt. Great Toilet facility with loo paper,sanitiser and water supplied for hand washing. Fire pit and wood if you wanted.
Swimming in the river such a treat.

This was the perfect night by a campfire. Great fire pit, cleanest bush toilet ever, freshly mown beautiful site, remote and private. Exactly what we were looking for. Great communication from Joanne. Site is approx 20 mins off the highway. First 10 mins on an outstandingly good gravel road. Next 10 on a bumpier but easy to manage track. Will come back.

My partner and I had a lovely trip away for the maiden voyage of our camper trailer. Jo and Joe were wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome and were always available if needed. They joined us for a drink around the fire one evening and we had a great time chatting with them. The site itself was very peaceful and secluded with a great toilet (which even comes with a view) and the best fire pit we’ve seen! Jo and Joe were very generous with the wood and we loaded it up and had an incredible fire going! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

A privilege to camp on this property.
Site was easy to access, no litter, a terrific fire ring, a maintained long drop dunny and our dogs were welcome. Bandicoots, sooty owls, bush rats, picturesque river landscapes for kayaking between rock gardens.

We very much enjoyed our secluded riverside camping at The Tinny. It was very peaceful and we got to see a variety of wildlife too. Joanne was a wonderful host. We highly recommend staying here.
