Nestled in the picturesque Towamba Valley, our camping site is a hidden gem on the banks of the tranquil Towamba River on the Far South Coast NSW. The Valley is surrounded by nature, from stunning coastline to the gentleness of National parks, from swimming to bushwalking. We have access to world class MTB (mountain bike) tracks under an hour away if that is your thing. Our region offers a range of activities. Our camping site is a lush grassy river flat paddock, providing a perfect escape from the world's hustle and bustle. It's a fenced grassy paddock fully fenced with farm fencing beside a quiet dirt road it has a winding pathway that leads you gently to the river's edge, where you'll discover hidden picnic areas, waiting to be explored. In this riverside escape. The river's gentle flow becomes a soothing backdrop to your experience. Trees adorned with a symphony of birdlife. As you relax by the water's edge, you'll be captivated by the harmonious dance of the river, the melodious tunes of the birds, and the subtle rustling of leaves in the breeze. It's a place where time seems to stand still, and the wonders of nature envelop you at every turn. Take a break from the busyness of activities and just enjoy some quiet time, reset your batteries and reconnect with nature. Our campsite offers just that, some time to recharge and clear your mind. It could also be used as a base to explore the region, a spacious alternative to other crowded base camps. Our property is a working Apiary farm, Home to thousands of working Honeybees, they come and go with the seasons and the floral resources of our beautiful environment. Our Business Bee & Berry is quietly working on many different experiences to open up, to answer the thousands of questions people have about Honeybees like; How is Honey made? And what does the Queen do in the Hive? Come, escape to our camping site in the Towamba Valley, and immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the river, the vibrant company of birds in the trees, and the soothing embrace of the water.Pitch your tent, roll out your swag, or pull up in your camper trailer at our Riverview camping site. Guests will enjoy 1 acre to themselves, Enjoy the chance to have space to move and lift the stresses of the daily routines. Sit at your campsite and soak up the river view. The Campsite is a fully fenced grased paddock beside a quiet dirt road. The camp site is reserved for your own family or small gathering. You have a grass campsite to sleep on with fire pits and wood provided to enjoy the special feeling of sitting by a campfire, with a walking track down to the river to experience the calmness that a river provides. Take a swim or lay on the side of the river and reconnect to nature. Explore the riverbank and listen to all the different birds - don't forget your binoculars for a spot of birdwatching. For your convenience, we supply a composting toilet. You may bring your generator for a power source. All rubbish is to be taken out with you as no bins are provided. Please ensure the river is left the way you found it, clean, free of rubbish as the river is an important water supply for many.

Please ensure tick protection. *Please ensure you pick up your dog poo. This is NOT an acceptable waste product to put into the composting toilet, PLEASE TAKE WITH YOU. Thank you to Niomi and Graham for their hospitality and tips around the campsite. We were impressed by the landscape in this valley and bonus for having it all to ourselves. As the listing describes, there was plenty of firewood provided for our 3 night stay and we had a fire going all day long. If you need to breakaway from camp, you're 40 mins away from Merimbula and Pambula and both towns have everything you need to restock. Highly recommend this campsite. Hopefully we can come back soon.

What a lovely place to relax and recharge. We were fortunate to have beautiful clear winter days, relaxing around the fire while watching the quite river running through this beautiful valley. Went home with a esky full of the most amazing honey to top it off. If you’re looking for a quite off grid well kept retreat we highly recommend. Thanks guys we needed it.

Beautiful grassy site close to the water, next to a road but it’s very quiet with only a couple cars / day driving by. Toilet was very clean with everything supplied for us, generous amount of firewood too. I highly recommend buying some of their honey, it’s amazing. Thank you!!

What a beautiful, peaceful campsite on the water, complete with beautiful birds and platypus to watch. The composting toilet is a bonus and is immaculate and very well cared for. Friendly, helpful hosts. Two nights was not enough. Looking forward to another visit!

This place is amazing!! A small group of us camped in total privacy in both tents and a camping trailer. The ground was so green and soft and level. It had the nicest pit toilet I’ve seen just for our use. The river is gorgeous, our dogs loved it! And a few of us had a quick dip just for the experience tho the weather was a little cold! We will definitely be staying here again, hopefully soon!

Niomi and Grahams property is beautiful. We stayed two nights and it was perfect. Especially for our active dog who had the time of his life playing frisbee. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. As others had mentioned, there is a road, but it is so seldom trafficked it is a complete non-issue. The paddock, access to the river and toilet were all incredibly well kept. Arrival etc a breeze. Thank you, Niomi and Graham!

Beautiful campsite. Well maintained, excellent river access, and the cleanest and nicest compost toilet we’ve experienced! Lovely hosts too. Can’t recommend highly enough. Our kids had a fabulous time. Ps. Buy some fresh honey- it’s amazing.

The site was well maintained and ready. Composting toilet is well lit and very clean. The gate and path to river let us feel extra secluded and really take advantage of the solitude. We loved being able to sit by the fire and watch the kids having fun paddling on the river 😀 This was a great spot that we hope to return to in future.

Beautiful, flat green field perfect for tents, or any kind of camping, clean toilet, good fire place with something you can cook on and a picnic table. She had some firewood already for me to use. Short walk down to pristine , private , river with afew chairs. I can confirm there are definitely platerpus in the river. She acceptes pets , I had my dog and bird with me. There alot of wallies, roos, rabbits ect. So it your dog likes to chase, keep them on a leash. There is little phone coverage, my navman took me to the place down the road but the place is well signed. Trying and fuel up well before you hit the gravel road. But overall a beautiful place to camp 5 stars.

Great camp spot, easy access to the river (two chairs provided next to the river for nice riverside bevvo), very clean toilet and heaps of firewood provided. A road runs past the paddock but we've only seen 2 or 3 cars passing all day, so it's very quiet. Only 45m to Eden so good for a day trip. Would recommend to all.

We had a lovely time staying at this campsite, the location is stunning, especially with the river so close by with beautifully clear water. It's a really beautiful setting for a peaceful getaway, and the composting toilet here is honestly the best we've ever encountered, better than my own, super clean and thoughtfully maintained. One thing to note, which wasn’t clear from the listing or reviews, is that the site is in a fully fenced paddock right beside a dirt road. While it’s not heavily trafficked, there were occasional cars and some people who slowed down or looked in, which made it feel slightly less private than expected. The host's house is also within sight of the campsite, which might matter to those looking for full seclusion. It would have been nice if the hosts had made this a bit clearer in the listing. That said, it’s still a very special spot – just something to keep in mind depending on what kind of experience you’re after. We'd absolutely recommend it for anyone wanting natural beauty with basic comforts, just know it’s not completely tucked away from view. It would be suitable for a large group, or family wanting open space where they can keep an eye view on the little ones.

Naomi and Graham were very friendly and helpful hosts. Feather Glenn connects you to nature. It is beautiful!!! The river is pristine, surrounded by mountains, flora and fauna. The composting toilet is a treat as is the complimentary fire pit and wood! This is a dog friendly camp site! We loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back!! Thank you Naomi and Graham.

Feather Glenn is an absolutely beautiful spot that we plan to frequent. Despite the unfortunate weather during our stay, we were so taken with this picturesque site. Niomi and Graham are very welcoming and thoughtful hosts. The site is spacious, enclosed, has a generous amount of firewood, clean ammeneties, easy access to the river, and a very useful firepit and table. We very much look forward to future stays.

Another fabulous stay at Feather Glenn! Our favourite local campsite! Beautiful location, huge campsite with plenty of space for our extended family and their camping setups, close to the river, fire pit with supplied wood - always clean, tidy and mown and a spotlessly clean composting toilet. Fully fenced so our dogs can have an awesome stay as well! It doesn’t get any better which is why we keep coming back! Thank you for sharing this great spot!

Lovely position right next to the inviting Towamba River. Had we had better weather we would have spent more time swimming. Flat mowed paddock with a fire pit and useful table. Plenty of firewood supplied, thanks Graham. Toilet was clean, functional and funny. 👍🏻

This was a delightful, quiet by the river spot to spend a couple of days just stopping. We did not move from the spot except to take the kayak down the river. So peaceful. Love (if that is a thing) the composting toilet. Challenging, but not impossible, trip down the mountain to access from Bombala with the caravan which is an off road van. Would suggest coming in from the other side if a big van. The honey we bought is just delicious.!

Niomi & Graham are great hosts; A lot of care has been taken by them to create a great camp. The drop toilet is pristine and on another level, w solar & timed lights for night visits-by far the best I have seen. The road to the site was in great condition & the place teeming with bird life.

Such a beautiful spot. Perfect for kids. Unfortunately we got hit by a bad storm and had to leave early (although Niomi was very kind, checked in on us after the storm and offered us dry equipment after a bit of our gear got broken). We were sad to leave and loved our time at the site. The kids played in the river, there was firewood stacked and ready and the drop toilet was the cleanest I’ve seen. We even saw the resident platypus. A magic spot.

What an epic camping spot! Massive flat grassed area for camping, secluded, the river for a swim & a super clean toilet. About 40-45min drive to Pambula & 50min to Eden. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to come back & camp again.

Wow! What a great campsite. I had this spot all to myself (and dog) between Christmas and New Year. The area was very well maintained with friendly hosts, an amazing outlook, clean toilet and your own amazing swimming hole in a very clear and clean river. I spent the days kayaking, swimming, reading books, cooking camp oven feasts and just chilling out looking at the view. Tip - there is no phone reception on site but you can get enough coverage about 500m downstream to send and receive messages. I will be back.
