We just camped here for a night, but it is a really nice place in such a beautiful landscape! We would stay here again anytime. Mick was a great host and so understanding when we had to make a change to our booking.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at Micks place.
Had the spot by the dam which was great for the kids and dogs. No one else in sight. Very private and peaceful.
Water and a toilet were supplied which were great to have. Will def return! Thank you!

Mick holds an impressive sweep of land at Paradise Farm. The campsites are raised above the surrounding crop and grazing lands, providing a view to the Grampians and Halls Gap in just a short walk. The site we chose was by a dam, with a welcoming wild duck. Wattles in flower surrounded the site, in early Spring. Mick and partner provided warm and helpful welcome, top spot.

We had a lovely stay at Paradise Farm. Beautiful spot! Mick was great. We arrived late and he left what he was doing to make sure we got in ok. Dogs had a blast.. very private and peaceful!! Thanks! Would love to come

I love tent camping - such a great time being nature land and exploring the large space - my dogs had a blast - running in their own space - Thanks to Mick who allowed a bigger space for my fur babies to run around.

Amazing time at Paradise Farm! Mick and family couldn’t do enough for us and were incredibly kind and generous when finding us a plot during a busy Public Holiday weekend.
The views, sunsets and stars were incredible!
Our little city dog had the time of his life, completely (and safely) off lead the entire time!
Have already shared Paradise farm to a few friends, and we will for sure be back!

First of all, Mick was so friendly. We had a good access to drinking water as Mick brought a huge water tank close to us.
We were able to settle at very isolated and peaceful area at Paradise farm. Beautiful moon at night and bunches of kangaroos in the morning.
We will go back to the Paradise soon again. Thanks Mick!

Genuinely the best camping experience we've had was at Mick's farm! We camped over Easter weekend but you wouldn't even be able to tell- it was so peaceful and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Definitely worth the extra drive from Melbourne if you're considering it. We didn't want to leave and neither did our border collie! The long drop toilet was convenient, clean and well kept and Mick kindly supplied drinking water in tanks near the sites. Mick was great with communication throughout our entire trip and was even kind enough to lend us a couple of beers till we could get him back as the shops were closed on Good Friday. Can't wait to be back!

There’s so much about this place that’s wonderful but the thing that stands out the most is Mick’s amazing hospitality. We arrived late and he didn’t complain but met us at the gates and led us to our little piece of wonder. We went and pet the horses and went on many walks exploring the countryside. Kids had a blast.

It was beautiful land, camped by a dam, with vast skies, even more beautiful when we did a short walk up a ridge. Saw wallabies, kangaroos, wedge-tailed eagles and other birds. Mick was lovely and the campsite was comfortable with a clean toilet nearby. Very private, I walked an hour each morning and never saw anyone else. We also enjoyed the drive there from Melbourne, which was easy driving but off the main highway after Ballarat, and was pretty with small lovely towns. On one day we visited St. Arnaud and relaxed in the botanical garden. We loved visiting and would come again.

We had a great time camping on Mick's farm, if you want privacy and big skies for stargazing this is the spot! The site was easy to find and there are nice wineries 15mins drive away.

My partner and I made a very last minute decision to visit the Grampians over the long weekend and boy are we lucky that we were able to book a spot on Micks property. We didn’t see a single person the entire time, had wonderful views all round and our dogs had an absolute blast. We’ve been to a fair few camp sites both on private and public land and Micks place is by far the best place we’ve been to. On night 1, we accidentally tore our canopy door off and within minutes, Mick and his partner were at our site helping us put it back together and now you wouldn’t even know it was damaged if we didn’t tell you. We couldn’t have asked for a better host, Mick gave us tour directions and advice, where to camp, showed us where to get some firewood and was just so easy to talk to.
Without a doubt if you’re looking for somewhere more private to camp with stunning views, views of the surrounding livestock and an incredible night sky, this is the place to be.

We loved camping on Mick’s farm!
Mick was an awesome host who genuinely cared about us getting the most out of our stay. He found us a great camping spot, showed us where to catch a beautiful sunset, and loaded us up with allllll the firewood we could possibly need.
The camp site itself was pretty special. Given the size of the farm, we felt like we had it all to ourselves. We never saw another camper (but we did see the odd wallaby hop on by), and the only sounds we heard was of birds and crickets singing throughout the day. Then at night, the sky would illuminate from millions of stars.
As for the location, we enjoyed making day trips out to the Grampians, Lake Lonsdale and the many cute wineries scattered around the area. We could not have asked for anything more and would definitely recommend Mick’s farm to anyone looking for a wholesome getaway 😊

My best friend and I booked to stay at Paradise Farms last minute because our other arrangements weren't suitable. We were able to book and arrive within an hour and a half, and Mick led us to a great camping spot with wonderful views. It was over the Easter weekend, so all the other spots were occupied, but we didn't see anyone else, and truly felt like we were alone.
Mick and Fiona were great hosts and would have been happy to accommodate us with any issues if we needed.
Our dogs loved being able to roam around freely, and it was a huge bonus for us that they had the space to roam freely without wandering into anyone else's campsite!
We have been to several hipcamp sites so far, and this one definitely stands out. We didn't end up using the amenities, but we appreciated being able to fill up our water jug on the way out!
This place is well worth the trip from Melbourne, and we are looking forward to visiting again!

We wanted a quick get away from the city that was peaceful, private and relaxed and this camping stay was exactly what we were after. Our dog Bella loved being able to chase her ball without leashing restrictions. Mick was a lovely host and was very thoughtful in choosing a spot for us on his farm that was secluded and offered shade. We would definitely recommend this camping spot for a quiet getaway with friendly hospitality. Thanks Mick!

We loved out stay at Mick's place. He's a super lovely guy, very accommodating and helpful. He found us a great little spot by the Dam with a great view. The best part was being greeted by his 3 cute and friendly dogs. The view of the stars was incredible and an amazing place to watch the sunrise and sunset. We will absolutely be back. It's not called Paradise for nothing! Such a beautiful location far from the maddening crowds. The views were spectacular! Just so nice to close your eyes and hear nothing but nature. Mick is a wonderful host, so friendly and helpful. So many choices of locations to set up camp that I will definitely have to return to try another setting. The perfect location for some astrophotography, with a beautiful dark sky.

A peaceful, calm, clean and relaxing environment only 2.5 hours from Melbourne. Camp-sites are very spread out, we didn't see anyone else the whole time we were there. Mick was very hospitable and accommodating since we only booked with 2 days notice.
We are looking forward to visiting again and experiencing different camp sites on the property.

Partner and I went here last minute for 2 days. Absolutely unreal. Mick showed us around his farm and even took us sheep herding with his 3 kelpies and to the top of a mountain chasing a herd of kangaroos. Even seen an eagle and its nest. Plenty of spots to choose from.
