A perfect bush getaway ! Well worth the drive in. Unfortunately the weather turned but we were cozy and sheltered in the camp kitchen. The boys took advantage of the bucket showers. Very querky and unique. Thankyou for sharing

Coodlie was harsh and dry but for this time of the year ( Jan) what else would you expect
We were welcomed to our HIPCAMP, the grounds were well explained and we enjoyed our stay.
Rubbish bins available, camp kitchen, swag huts everything with plenty of room for privacy

Overall beautiful spot, but maybe it was the time of year we were there but it was quite deserted and the toilets / showers were swarmed with flies and bees. Would definitely stay here in the fall / winter months!

We had a fantastic stay at Camp Coodlie.
The camp itself is really cool and in an incredible location, so close to some amazing caves and lookouts to explore. We loved that the property is eco-friendly and that there are animals on site. It adds so much character and makes the experience feel really special.
Our absolute favourite part, though, was the stargazing experience offered at night. It was such a highlight and something we’ll genuinely remember. The owner was incredibly informative, welcoming, and so lovely to chat with, which made the stay even better.
We would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return.

The whole environment was amazing. The camp kitchen, the bucket showers and the hosts were ever so helpful. Young family working really hard to give others a cool place to stay.
Would be awesome for a big group to hire out.
The swag huts are a great idea.
Close to some really beautiful sites. Venus bay, Talia Caves, Mount Camel Beach, Murphy's Haystacks.

Good offgrid site (common areas and camp sites had no long grass) with access to rain water for washing and showering. Hot water supplied which was good for use with bucket showers.
Drop toilets for campers (which didn't smell or have flies.)

We lived staying at Coodlie camp. The host was so friendly and gave us heaps of recommendations for activities near by. The swag huts were great to hang out in too!

Firstly the hosts Paul and Chris went above and beyond. Very generous with their time. The campsites were great, good size and very quite location. The highlight was the showers. Fill a bucket lift it up and done. Cool refreshing wash. ( warm water available from camp kitchen if not keen on a cold wash) but we loved it.

It’s not the camp - it’s us! We decided snakes and scorpions are a hard no and drive straight through camp to the other side and stayed at talia caves campground. We found out we are beach campers not bush campers 😂

This spot is fantastic. Has all the amenities you need. It's rustic and mainly recycled materials have been used for the set up. Swag huts were a hit with the dogs. Nice little back road access to Talia Caves/Beach road as well. Paul was very friendly and stopped in to say hey and have a chat. We'd highly recommend staying here if on the Eyre Peninsula.

We had such a unique and wonderful experience at camp Coodlie last night. The bush is beautiful and the swag set into it makes for a brilliant nights sleep. We loved the showers and the dome of stars over our heads. Thank you guys

Stayed in the swag hut with our Cavoodle - loved it :) so peaceful and very clean. Nice ammenities and Paul was on site to check in and make sure we were all good. Such a lovely trip, would go again!

Absolutely lovely stay here. We had Paul the Owner take us around the property to the cliff tops. Paul and his Wife Kristina are working hard to do up the property. So much space to camp and have campfires in the right season. Great spot to use as a base to look around the area. Differently would love to come back.

I stayed at Coodlie Eco Camp for three nights in my self-contained Hiace campervan. It was incredibly peaceful, a brilliant break from the full days of driving since leaving WA. It was very quiet, plenty of space fromother campers and my dog LOVED the opportunity to be off-leash for a change. I would stay here again anytime. A beautiful bush camp.

We spent two nights in Coodlie and enjoyed it. Flat sights, camp kitchen rustic and clean, great bbq, bucket showers fun but workable, drop toilets clean, and as we had the camp to ourselves it was very quiet and peaceful.
Only downside was zero communication response from the hosts when we messaged. It would have helped us a bit.

What a brilliant campsite, such a great vibe and perfectly situated for day trips. The showers are surprisingly awesome, and the host's we very kind and accommodating. Would also be a great place to go as a group. So many spaces and different options to set up your base camp. Can't wait to come back and do some more exploration of the EP.

We loved our stay at Coodlie Camp! I was set up in a 19ft caravan, while my mate set up in a swag hut. Plenty of space for both, with an allowance to be solely contained, or mingle with other campers.
Easy access to Venus Bay and Talia Beach, bith just 10 mins away, is brillaint all around.
Highly recommend for any Eyre Peninsula goers, looking for a space to set up canp either short or long term.

Overall this was a great place to stay. The sites are nice and private. They could improve the bucket shower system, the buckets you use to collect water from the kitchen had holes in them and a broken handle. The bathrooms need a good clean, hair and dust in every corner. Also the men’s shower heads were all blocked except for one that was working.

Great Campground, basically setup where ever you like, grounds are flat, large camp kitchen, toilets and bucket showers, bush camping at its best. Venus Bay is only 10min up the road so if you need supplies the general store has everything, plus the scenery here is magnificent, the campground at Venus Bay was chocked full of vans so Coodlies Campground was thankfully the place I chose to stay, staff are very friendly, I’d recommend staying here and I will again

The site is awesome so much room and well setup. From the bucket showers (great fun for the kids and a welcome amenity when camping) to the large communal kitchen and dining area with hot water and free gas cooking. Paul was super helpful one night offering me power to charge my lithium battery and Krystina was very accommodating when we need ed to get the kids sleeping bags washed while we were out. At night we were entertained by the astrologer extraordinaire PK who showed us some
Amazing sites with his telescope and lazer beam. A well organised and easy to access campsite. Plus a shortcut drive to Talia Caves. A terrific true blue outback adventure.
