Rawnsley Park Bush Campsites
Beautiful, but staff are struggling
If you choose bush camping at Rawnsley, you are spoilt for choice. The area is huge - so much so that you need to drive to the amenities. However when we spent a week there it was evident they needed more staff. The bins were regularly overflowing, the bathrooms were not cleaned everyday and the toilets were often out of toilet paper.
The views from sites are beautiful, there are heaps of walks and it is well placed for Wilpena. If you have the capability to cope with rough roads, keep going past the hoards near the amenities and find some space, but don't camp near the river. We saw people having to quickly evacuate after a downpour.

Bush camp next to caravan park
Was pleasantly surprised to find it was actually part of a well run caravan park, with plenty of private bush camping spots. Good supply shop and clean amenities. Also offers access to 4wd loop around the property for a fee but was a great day trip.
The camping was still private and we couldn't see any other campers from our site. An excellent getaway, would do again.

A lovely Easter break
Loved camping at Rawnsley... this was actually our 4th time but it never disappoints. Even though it was the Easter weekend and school holidays and it was quite busy, we still had loads of space, peace and quiet and beautiful views. We will definitely be back.

Rawnsley Park Powered Site
We were there at the busiest time of year. So lots of people, out can was parked 2 metres from the main drive in road, so lots of road noise. Given my chance again I would not go.

Rawnsley Park Bush Campsites
We loved the Bush camping experience. Being Easter weekend we were pleasantly surprised by the fact we didn't have to be too close to any other campers.Did enjoy being able to use the powered site amenities as well. Big thumbs up from us

Rawnsley Park Bush Campsites
Views and convenience
We loved the convenience of access to all amenities that the park offered. We had an unpowered site with a beautiful view of Rawson’s Bluff. Everything clean and working well, including pool and BBQ facilities. Tours and the flight over Lake Eyre we’re simply amazing. Staff equally fantastic. Thanks for your hospitality.

A great place to camp
A great spot at the foot of Wilpena Pound range with amazing Jew of sunrise and sunsets over ancient hills. Excellent bush camping sites that are well spaced and set among native trees. We did have two issues. One was the fact that only Optus coverage there should have been more prominent when booking so we could have organised a SIM card before leaving home. The other was the barking dog at a nearby site. Not a deal breaker but it did spoil the ambience one day and evening. Staff very friendly and helpful. It was very hot some of our time there, so being able to have a dip in the pool to cool off was amazing. A gem of a place.

Rawnsley Park Bush Campsites
Large campgrounds, beatiful views.
We stayed at the bush campsites in Rawnsley Park on a long weekend when the entire place was sold out yet it didn't feel overcrowded at all. The campsites are great as there are no designated spots, so you can choose a place that suits you best. Would highly recommend staying at Rawnsly Park if you are heading to the Flindres Ranges.
