Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Private flat spacious beachfront driveway suitable for caravan, camper trailer or RV and Large Campsite with Stunning Ocean Veiws and big fig tree on Corny Beach track with boat parking and boat launch fits two big tents or two caravans. Beach is wonderful for families, shallow calm water swimming and fantastic blue line fishing all year round. Close to surf beach and lighthouse. Walk to shops with best chips in Yorke Peninsula possibly the world !Pitch your tent in the driveway or under the trees, caravans and boats can park on long flat driveway. Second small driveway also available under the tree. Could facilitate two vans. Clearance good. Soft sandy site, but not a bog risk. Power Water and Wood not to be harvested from the site (cart own) BBQ on site (welcome to use if you clean and pack back up with cover) No toilets available currently. Short stroll to the ocean 1min. Path pictured. Beach boat launch road accessible with light 4WD and tractors. Most suitable for self contained caravan or swag. Plenty of boat parking. Toilets are available at the local shop a short stroll but recommended bringing a composting portable toilet to the site. Please don't use the block as a toilet. Toilets are being repaired and will be available in the future.

The Pelican Nest
We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the peaceful, private atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind for a few days. The beach was beautiful, with very calm water during our stay. It was only a 2min walk away which was a real bonus. We also used the fire pit in the evenings which was really lovely. The public bathrooms are a bit of a walk from the site, but as we were self-contained, it wasn’t a big issue for us. The local shop was also only 2min walk away and had great hot chips. Overall, a great place to stay and we’d happily come back again.
